The design of four-channel heart sound acquisition and display system based on ARM9 and CPLD

Abstract:This paper introduces a four-channel heart sound acquisition and display system which is based on microprocessor S3C2440A whose core is ARM920T and CPLD chip EPM570T144C5N. In this system,the analog circuit amplifies heart sounds and filters the noise, and the digital part controls high-speed A/D converter and simulation SPI interface to transmit data to ARM9 through CPLD. Linux2.6.30 is used as operation system. SPI driver of ARM9 and application are designed based on Qt4.7 and Qwt. The practical application shows that the system runs smoothly and achieves real-time acquisition, waveform display and heart sound data storage.

Implementation and design of short-range acoustic communication

Abstract:On the basis of researching the short-distance acoustic communication technology, a kind of sensor node which has a function of short-range acoustic communication is designed, using that ARM as the main processor in this paper. The node provides a communication mode which doesn’t occupy the radio channel bandwidth and immunity from the electromagnetic interference in these environments. The short-range acoustic communication is achieved between two sensor nodes, which verifies that the short-range acoustic communication is feasible.

Rail transit AFC system card reader design

Abstract:Card reader is a core component in the rail transit AFC system. This article describes the structure of AFC system and the position of card reader in AFC system, and analyses system structure and operation theories. This article alse decribes the design of system software and multi-tasks programme for card reader according to the plan of ticket-card in Chongqing systematicly. Finally, the article elaborates the details of the most importmant task(the task of reading card and the task of data) in mutli-tasks, and analyses the details of software implementation in analysis of card processing. The card reader in discussion has met the CRT standard. It is stable and has high performance.

Implementation of partial dynamic self-reconfiguration based on EAPR

Abstract:The design method and flow of the partial dynamic self-reconfiguration system were studied and implemented based on the reconfiguration design of EAPR.The system included two reconfigurable regions, each with two reconfigurable modules. The PowerPC hard core microprocessor that was integrated in the Virtex-4 was used to control the ICAP to complete self-reconfigurable. Through ML403 board of Xilinx, the function of self-reconfiguration was verified. The time devision multiplexing of part of the resource improves the resouce utilization, and the high configuration speed shortens the configuration time.

Design of a parking real-time query system based on ARM11

Abstract:The drivers are always worried about looking for empty carports blindly in tight blocks. Aiming at the difficulties about car parking and searching for, a parking real-time query system which is cored by S3C6410 microprocessor is designed. The GPRS wireless communication technology is used to transmit the GPS location information to the information processing central server, to achieve the real-time remote inquiry about car parking information. After car parking, the system terminal uses the AT commands to control the GSM module which will send the parking information to the user′s mobile phone, so the user can quickly find parking spaces. Experimental tests show that GPRS can sends GPS location information accurately, feedback parking spaces timely. It can meet the user′s requirements for real-time remote inquiry.

Design of down-hole video signal acquisition system based on CAN bus

Abstract:Due to the physically harsh environment in deep well, a high reliability system with good performance in signal processing is necessary. The design of downhole video signal acquisition system based on ADSP-21992 microprocessor is introduced. The inside CAN controller and other components are employed as the main compengts to constitute the CAN bus interface. The borehole images transmission and acquisition are realized by using the EILog-06 logging system which is mainly composed of the logging telemetry joint and the CAN bus interfaces. The design of hardware and software of the system are showed, and the experimental CMOS camera is given to verify the feasibility of this method.

Aurora-based protocol high-speed communication technology research

Abstract:This paper introduces a modular approach based on FPGA to achieve high-speed communication design. System uses high-speed serial transceivers Rocket I/O with Aurora protocol to solve different port transceiver problems which data loss caused by clock compensation, combined with SFP optical module for high-speed AD sampling signal effectively transfer. Experimental results prove the feasibility of the program, which has great significance in improving the bandwidth of the radar signal processing and radar detection performance.

Design and application of a high precision stepping motor control system with high reliability

Abstract:A design on stepping motor drive control system with high precision and high reliability is introduced in the paper. Making full use of intelligent driver chip TMC260, and combining with freely programmable FPGA features, a drive circuit of two phase stepping motor is designed based on this method. The drive circuit realizes the motor step with 256 segments in the broadband high precision, and achieves functions of motor overload and stall alarm. As a core drive part of blood analyzer, the method has a good effect on clinical application.

Implementation of DDS based on modified-CORDIC algorithm and FPGA

Abstract:A novel DDS based on modified-CORDIC algorithm is implemented on FPGA. Three rotations structure is used to improve the running speed of parallel computing of the rotation directions. Modifying the number of data in every rotation of the adopted architecture and employing parallel pipeline,so that it can provide lower handling time of the algorithm. Carry-save arithmetic is used in iteration computing of elementary unit which is implemented by 4-2 compressor to reduce the latency of basic circuit. ModelSim simulation and Matlab performance analysis results demonstrate the advantages of the designed DDS, such as high frequency resolution, fast speed and high SFDR.

Realization of moving clutter′s velocity map based on FPGA

Abstract:In order to restrain the low-speed clutter effectively in radar signal processing, a method of generating clutter′s velocity map is studied. This clutter’s velocity map is realized by FPGA, based on the real radar echo data processing in FPGA. The experimental results show that the clutter′s velocity map can suppress the stationary and slow moving clutter effectively. By the way, due to the high processing ability of large scale programmable device, its engineering realization is convenient, flexible, and it has a strong practicability.

Design of remote control parking lock system based on KEELOQ technology

Abstract:For car parking application, a wireless remote control parking lock is designed and implemented based on PIC16F630 and RF technique. It uses the KEELOQ rolling code technology to realize wireless data transmission, which greatly reduces coding repetition rate and improves the safety of the parking lock. The parking lock, expanding the sound and light alarm circuit, can indicate the working state and has the function of over-current protection and power detection. The system has a high safety, low power consumption, and easy operation etc. It has the good market prospect.

Design and implementation of multi-rate and multi-length LDPC decoder

Abstract:A method of the decoding algorithm(TDMP) is presented for the multi-rate, multi-length LDPC code decoder. The decoder uses parallel and pipelining design, which can keep the flexibility of the decoder circuit at the same time to improve the throughput. ISE toolset of Xilinx is used to do the synthesis simulation,choosing Virtex4-xc4vfx12-sf363-12 as FPGA platform. The maximum clock frequency is 170 MHz,the decoding throughput can reach 128.77 Mb/s. Through the platform of software and hardware,verify the correctness of the design, the results are compared with the simulation results of Matlab.

The MPPT algorithm study of PV array with multi-peak characteristics in partial shadow

Abstract:PV modules with a bypass diode in partial shadow of the shielding, the output P-U characteristic curve is constituted by multiple local peak, the traditional single peak MPPT algorithm can not accurately track the maximum power point. In order to avoid into a local peak, through the establishment and analysis of mathematical models of PV modules in partial shadow, on the basis of the traditional incremental conductance, by using the ‘gather the peak scan method’, gather peak from the short circuit current and open circuit voltage to the middle and compare the size,until find the real maximum power point. The simulation results show that the algorithm can not be trapped in local peak, the system can quickly track the maximum power point, and improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency.

Research on a single-phase digital PLL based on lead-lag controller

Abstract:Rapidly and accurately tracking the frequency and phase of grid-voltage is important condition for ensuring stable operation in single phase photovoltaic grid-connected inverter. Conventional digital phase-locked method mainly utilizes the pattern of detecting the zero-crossing point, but this way is weak in anti-interference and always appears the phenomenon of phase lock failure. To address this phenomenon, this article proposes a combined method with lead-lag controller,double second order generalized integrator(DSOGI) and improved instantaneous reactive power theory. With the application in signal phase inverter, the simulation and experiment prove that this method can rapidly and efficiently follow the synch signal of grid-voltage and ensure the accuracy and stability of the entire system.

Study on a voltage balancing circuit for supercapacitor series

Abstract:This paper presents a new series capacitor banks voltage equalization circuit series resonant inverter and voltage multiplier. Compared with the conventional equalizing circuit, the voltage equalizing circuit is mainly composed of two switching tube and a magnetic element, and does not require a large voltage detection circuit and a complicated control circuit and a feedback circuit so that the circuit has been simplified. The working principle of the circuit is analysed in detail, and the method is validaed through experiment. The experimental results show that the effect of the equalizer circuit has good pressure.

Design of ultra-low frequency vibration signal acquisition system based on VFC

Abstract:The detection of ultra-low frequency vibration has a broad prospect in engineering applications. This article designed a new signal acquisition system for the original one could not bear the complex engineering environment. The VFC circuit in the system could solve high-frequency pulse interference problems appeared in the practical engineering applications, relaying on its special working principle. Calibration test results of the system show that the precision reached to 0.88%, which can make it measure ultra-low frequency signal accurately and have a certain application value.

Abstract:According to the analysis and research on the development status and trend of the smart intelligent furnishing in home and abroad, a kind of Internet of things control system scheme of intelligent home furnishing based on ZigBee was established. According to the analysis of the characteristics and applications of various wireless communication technology, the scheme of smart home furnishing control system is designed, with the Linux system as the core, ZigBee wireless communication technology for signal transmission, and GPRS communication technology for remote monitoring is accomplished. The system achieves the overall management of the intelligent home furnishing, reflects the networking, hommization and intelligentize of the intelligent home.

Abstract:This paper introduces the design method of the intelligent probe vehicle based on Android mobile cell platform control. It takes MCU as the core processor and takes wireless WiFi as video transmitter and receiver. It can transfer the real-time camera images to communication terminal, such as mobile cell and can detect, store and display environment temperature and humidity, etc. It can replace manual work and apply in harmful and dangerous situations ,such as tunnel detection, a last minute rescue, raids, demining, radiation, etc, avoiding secondary damage effectively.

Design and implementation of monitoring system for agricultural IoT based on ZigBee

Abstract:Regarding to recent agricultural IoT, we propose an implementation of monitoring technology based on ZigBee. In every collecting period, data collector will once collect data from sensors initiatively and then send data to central server. This system can construct network, so every distributed node can join the mesh network automatically and also central server can remotely configure parameters of each node. Because solar battery is preferred for charging, this system achieves a balanced combination of low cost, low power and high performance.

Research of on-line glass defect inspection system based on digital image processing

Abstract:The on-line glass defect inspection system based on digital image processing is introduced in this passage. It could realize detection,distinguish and classified on-line. This system uses an improved algorithm of normalized cross correlation,it could improve the image matching rate and the efficiency of defect detection. It was over 25.7% more efficient than the traditional one.An improved support vector machine algorithm is used on the identification and classification of defects. The detection precision and efficiency are greatly improved.In the identification of defects types, its accuracy can reach 95%.

Abstract:Perforating is a very important part in oil extraction process. Getting accurate downhole perforating pressure-time data can fundamentally improve completions, promote perforator improvement and improve oil well productivity. Based on the new concept of dynamic testing, this article proposes the new concept of oil underground pressure test system. The system is mainly to address the key technologies: choosing differential input amplifier INA128 reduce the temperature influence on the sensor; sampling strategies and negative delay design; low power consumption and micro-volume design. The system has been made application in Changqing and Daqing oilfield.

The design of surface displacement sensor of mine tunnel based on ZigBee wireless network

Abstract:In the paper, a surface displacement detection system based on ZigBee wireless sensor network is proposed. The paper also introduces the principle and implementation of system project. It has the core of STC12C5A single-chip microcomputer, realizes the accurate measurement of displacement by using the laser ranging device, and realizes the data communication and sharing by using CC2420 wireless transceiver module. The sensor transmits the measurement results to the sub-station in a way of wireless communication, then the ground monitoring computer achieves real-time, reliable monitoring of surface displacement variation according to the information uploaded by sub-station.

Research of downlink channel detection based on TD-LTE system

Abstract:TD-LTE system adopts two transmission modes-transmit diversity and spatial multiplexing. For signal detection, transmit diversity mode can be used in each downlink channel, but spatial multiplexing can only be adopted by Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH). In spatial multiplexing mode, the traditional detection method is detecting four OFDM symbols uniformly. In fact, the number of OFDM symbols control channel occupies is less than or equal to 4. Therefore, this method leads to the large calculation of the signal detection. Based on this problem, one modified method is proposed in this paper. According to the control format indicated value, judge the actual number of OFDM symbols and do signal detection accordingly. By this method, the calculation is greatly reduced and the memory is saved. Feasibility and efficiency of the scheme has been verified in the TMS320C64xDSP and has been applied in TD-LTE RF conformance test system development.

Performance optimization of cooperation spectrum sensing networks using p-th detector

Abstract:On the premise of protecting prime user′ communication without interference, to rationally allocate slots of sensing system and to maximally increase the throughput of the cognitive network, an optimization method is proposed. In considering of Rayleigh channel and report channel with a fixed error rate, cooperative spectrum sensing networks with p-th power detector is joint optimized to obtain of p-th power detector and optimal sensing time and to make the throughput of the cognitive network maximum. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that there exists p-th power and optimal sensing time to make throughput of the cognitive network maximum and to improve the spectrum utilization.

Design and verification of high speed RS code in E-Band communication system

Abstract:In order to meet the requirement of high-speed data transmission error correction code in E-band communication system, we designed parallel high-speed structures of RS encoder and decoder. The design used DAA algorithm to optimize systolic array and DCME algorithm to reduce the number of adders in key equation solution. Comparing with the traditional ME algorithm, the time delay of the optimized decoder reduced to 20%. Simulation results show that the optimized RS (255,239) encoding and decoding scheme meets the requirements of high-rate system with a simple, low complexity, excellent error correction performance.

Method of space diversity signal combination for satellite communication

Abstract:This paper briefly introduces the signal process method of the broadband space diversity signal combining techniques for satellite communications. It analyzes the aspects of the method of signal combination and equalization techniques. It put forward an improved method based on DFE for equalization, in order to be applied in the condition of high data rate. It also put forward an MRC method by LMS algorithm for signal combination. It do not need to estimate the SNR of every signal, and could adaptively update coefficient of signal combination. Simulation results show that the signal combination effect by this method compared with the theoretical value has 0.3 dB loss, but the system can still work in the SNR is -3 dB conditions. This signal combination method can be applied to satellite communications with high data rate.

Quality of node based adaptive opportunistic routing protocol for VANET

Abstract:This paper presents a quality of node based adaptive opportunistic routing protocol, QAOR. Previous protocol are not considering node’s frequently history contact. But this routing protocol use two index to choice nexthop in a crossing. The first index is the distance from destination, and the second one reflects the meeting history. This protocol improve GPSR when a crossing has no subsequent nodes. It uses Greedy carry-forward mechanism in direct way. NS-2 simulation shows that compared by GPSR(buffer),QAOR protocol delivery rate is increased, and the delay is reduced.

PCM/PSK high bit-rate transmission performance in launch vehicle multi-path channel

Abstract:Result is the fading of received signal, which will cause receiver BER(Bit-Error-Rate) increasing and bring great uncertainty to system design. In the paper, the most important reason that causes the high bit-rate telemetry channel fading is studied. Typical characteristics of Launch Vehicle multi-path are analyzed. An analysis model of Launch Vehicle multi-path channel is established. Launch Vehicle high bit-rate transmission performance is analyzed. The multi-path channel which effected by attenuation coefficient and delay time is analyzed and simulated. Simulation results of full-flight BER are given based on a Launch Vehicle trajectory.

An unambiguous and direct acquisition algorithm of BOC signal

Abstract:For the problem of ambiguous acquisition of BOC signal caused by its auto-correlation has more than one peak and null, a kind of new method which is based on reconstruction of correlation function and Doppler frequency domain compensation is presented. Firstly, the receiving signal make Doppler compensation in frequency domain, and then use the characteristic of the BOC signal autocorrelation function module and the BOC signal and the PN sequences cross-correlation function module, through simple fold reconstruction, to eliminate the zero point and improve the peak ratio of the main and auxiliary, which not only increases the probability of detection, but also reduces the probability of false alarm. The simulation results show that, compared to auto-correlation acquisition algorithm, SAMS in this method has improved 9.5 dB to 16 dB, and MMS has improved 1.2 dB to 4.5 dB, also the precision of capture are good and easy to implement.

A kind scheme of design and implementation of remote fault detection

Abstract:In view of the defects of OAM ability of Ethernet, this paper presents a specific implementation scheme for remote fault detection. After device electrifying, the Trap data are written to the registers of FPGA and a timer controls the FPGA sending connectivity testing Trap to network management during the software initialization. If the device power break suddenly, the FPGA use the delay time to send a power-down Trap to network so that the network can get information. If management network is not received connected trap over a span, it turns out that a fault exists in the device or the line.

Construction of virtual spinal surgery simulation system based on force feedback

Abstract:A virtual system for spinal surgery has been developed for medical surgical practice and surgery teaching of minimally invasive surgical skills. It can simulate the commonly used surgical instruments as well as the spine structure, achieving real-time human-computer interactions. Hardware parameters of the system was introduced in detail, and the surgery simulation was done based on 3DS MAX modeling and the haptic rendering engine(CHAI 3D). The simulation results show that: virtual spinal surgery simulation system based on force feedback can effectively simulate the state of force feedback during the spinal surgery. It can help surgeon in preoperative training and it is suitable for teaching in medical universities and medical personnel training.

An improved face recognition algorithm based on KPCA and LDA

Abstract:Put forward a kind of the face feature recognition method combining kernel principal component analysis and linear discriminant analysis. According to the characteristics of human face information, first use kernel principal component analysis method to principal component extraction of data, eliminate the correlation between data characteristics and compression feature vector dimensions, and then improve the linear discriminant analysis method by introducing Weighted Pairwise Fisher Criterion(WPFC) and regularization rules, thus realize face automatic identification. The experiment based on ORL face database shows that this method can effectively identify faces in libraries and recognition rate reaches 91.7%. Application of this method has higher recognition rate compared with neighboring method and PCA.

Rotation invariant texture classification algorithm based on LBPV

Abstract:In view of the drawback of most traditional texture classification algorithm which is time consuming and has low classification rate, a new operator—LBPV by the improvement of the local binary pattern (LBP) histogram algorithm is proposed to overcome the defects of the LBP joint variance, and a new global matching based on exhaustive search is proposed to make up for the shortcomings of LBP that extracted only partial rotation invariant texture features. To reduce the computation, the paper proposes a new method on the basis of rotation invariant LBP to estimate the principal orientations and reduce the feature dimensions. Rotation invariant texture classification reaches a good compromise in classification accuracy as well as classification time.

Feature recognition and tracking algorithm based on block-updating of background

Abstract:A new target feature matching and tracking algorithm was proposed, based on block-updating of video background. Using this algorithm, block processing the video detection zone, the correct background image was obtained according to the status of foreground target throgh the frame difference. This algorithm could effectively eliminate defects of traditional background updating method, which was based on probability model. Then, a new method to matching and tracking the feature of target, using position,luminance and colour etc. of the target was imposed. At last the algorithm was applied on the DM648 hard platform,which achieved the 4 channel PAL video passenger flow statistics. The results showed the counting precision steady at 95%.

Abstract:The paper also proposes a hybrid PACS architecture which combines distributed storage and develops two component named SDCMO and WDO. It also provide storage and transmission interface for the upper to the compatibility problem when putting the cloud technology into PACS. The testing result shows that the design can improve the performance of PACS and provide the theoretical basis for the later deployment of the cloud computing technology to the application of informational technology to the hospital.

A voice activity detection algorithm in strong noise environment

Abstract:Existing voice activity detection algorithms degraded severely in strong noise environment.This paper proposes a new fusion method in such environment. The method of endpoint detection based on the product of priori SNR estimation speech enhancement and the improved sub-band spectral entropy. Experimental results show that the method has higher accuracy than traditional methods.Furthermore,for low signal-to-noise ratio,the algorithm has better robustness for different types of noise and high endpoint detection accuracy.
