Research of instruction code compression based on high-performance BWDSP processor

Abstract:The DSP processor is becoming more and more powerful, and the software program complexity is also increasing and software code volume increases rapidly. The binary machine instruction codes which are generated by the compiler and assembler are compressed by LZW compression technique. The code compression can reduce instruction code storage space size, so that the DSP processor with limited storage space can store more instruction code, while increasing the Cache hit rate and improving the overall performance of the BWDSP processing. The code compression system of the digital signal processor(BWDSP) uses the LZW dictionary compression algorithm to compress each instruction cache line. The experiments on the high performance BWDSP simulator show that the code compression system of BWDSP can achieve average compression ratio 60% on typical radar signal processing programs.

Study on FBG sensing demodulation system based on ARM

Abstract:In order to further improved detection method of fiber bragg grating(FBG) center wavelength,combined with the currently popular embedded technology,an FBG sensor signal processing systems based on ARM has been designed,which includs data acquisition, data processing and data storage module. The function like data acquisition,the center wavelength detection, data display and save of FBG reflection spectrum signal can be finished. The system is programmed using the C language,and is tested on the hardware platform. The results show that the required relevant function for the FBG wavelength detection of the system can be completed. Meanwhile,speed and accuracy of demodulation have been improved. A good reference has been provided for the implementation of the low-cost and miniature of FBG sensing system based on ARM.

Abstract:Based on MSP430F5529 and related peripheral circuits, this paper systematically analyzes the structure of μC/OS-III and intruduces the main work of porting. By designing a multifunctional anti-theft window controller as the object, the paper also describes the relationship of the function of the application system and multitasks,and proves the fact that the porting μC/OS-III can be put into use and practice.

A solulion of saving baseband NV data in Android system

Abstract:A method solution of saving the baseband NV data in Android cellphone is designed and realized. It includes the general framework of the design,data receiving and saving workflow of the AP part,NV data sending process in CP part,and the design of the enhanced IIC communication mechanism. Then the method is implemented on the hardware system with Cortex A9 Quad-core AP chip and ARM9 CP chip.The results of implementation show that this method has a high efficiency and good reliability to export baseband NV data. It is adequate for commercial products.

Design of ship fuel management system based on ARM and 3G

Abstract:In accordance with the need of fuel management for dual-fuel ships that work on the water, a fuel management system based on ARM and 3G network is designed. The 3G network, combined with VPN technology, is used to solve the problem of communication between the ships and the ship management center. Taking advantages of the ARM serial port and GPIO port, the acquisition of fuel usage and security status is realized. By using a network DVR on the ship as a video server, the center can achieve real-time monitoring of the ship scene. The experiments show that the system has advantages of good reliability and real-time performance.

A new type of UHF reader with solar charge and wireless communication

Abstract:RFID is one of the key technologies of the Internet of Things, and UHF(860 MHz to 960 MHz) radio frequency identification system is relatively mature in RFID system. A new type of UHF reader with solar charge and wireless communication has been proposed in this paper. The PLL of LPC2138 can reach to 60 MHz and so the chip has good ability in data processing. μCOS-II is been selected to meet the UHF reader′s multiple tasks requirements. CN3722 is a solar energy collection chip, it combined with TP4056 to complete the task of lithium battery charging. Bluetooth module is used to realize wireless communication.

Design of tower crane surveillance system based on ARM11

Abstract:The tower crane operators frequently meet with visual blind spot when they operate the tower crane, so they have difficulties in grasping the hook height, and they operate the machine only according experiences and sensation. In this way, it is easily to lead security incidents. System makes use of S3C6410 microprocessor chip as the core, to build a monocular distance monitoring system, combine with the shape and color characteristics of the crane hook, and then accomplish the detection about the hook dropping distance based on the principle of monocular distance. Finally, achieve the real-time video transmission through WiFi wireless module. The experimental results show that the video transmission is stable and reliable, and the monocular rangefinder is relatively accuracy. It can meet the need of crane drivers who require for the real-time video and height.

Design of echo-based self-adjusting range-gated controller using FPGA

Abstract:A echo-based self-adjusting range-gated controller using FPGA has been designed to solve interference between multiple active ultrasonic detectors aiming at the same targets. With distance information extracted from the echo, the controller adjusts gate so that interference of adjacent detectors could be suppressed. The system was designed with hardware description language and finite state machine methods. Simulation results show that the structure of the controller is simple, facilitating the system to detect and identify target quickly and reliability with better anti-interference performance. The control system operating frequency is up to 194.4 MHz.

Orthogonal wavelet transform implementation using switched current circuits

Abstract:The realization of orthogonal wavelet transform, based on Laguerre structure, using switched current circuits is proposed in this paper. The Laguerre structure implements a cascade of delay operators, which can generate approximations of a signal at different resolutions. Therefore, it is able to realize orthogonal wavelet transform. Orthogonal wavelet transform based on Laguerre structure is realized by switched current circuits. Its good performance is verified by simulated results.

The broadband frequency voltage conversion circuit based on LM331

Abstract:This paper puts forward a divider circuit and amplifier circuit. It can extend the frequency range of the input signal of the frequency-to-voltage conversion circuit LM331 constituted, has realized 1 kHz to 30 MHz signal processing. The circuit has simple structure, low cost, low consumption, and solves the problem that the signal frequency range is too wide to be processed in many applications areas.

Design on low-voltage and high-power motor drive system of special robot

Abstract:Nuclear radiation emergency handling robot drive system requires small size, strong driving ability and flexible control. On the basis of using IR2184 driving H-bridge built by paralleling MOSFET, this paper designs a large-current motor driver design, which can be applied to special robot. RCD snubber circuit is designed to solve the spike problem, and the current sharing protection circuit is designed to solve current sharing problem among the paralleling MOSFET. Experiments show that this design can achieve a driving voltage of 24 V, the drive current up to 100 A, finally achieve a reliable control of the special robot.

Design and research for automobile accelerator pedal based on MLX90316

Abstract:An automobile accelerator pedal system is designed by using a set of three axis Holzer element MLX90316. This paper describes the sensor′s principle and structure, and researches its independent linearity, repeatability and consistency. The result shows that the sensor uses a disk-shaped magnet with the horizontal flux is 50 mT, and the distance between magnet and chip is 5 mm, when the magnet′s rotating speed is 50~300 r/s, the sensor independent linearity is less than 1.05%, the D-value of the same sensor′s repeatability is 0.02%,and the D-value of the same batch of sensor′s consistency is less than 0.04%.

Design and implementation of double-T filter based on FPGA

Abstract:Aiming at improving the demodulating efficiency of phase-sensitive signal in the prism-type digital laser gyro stable optical path circuit , the double-T filter digitalization, which is used in narrow bandwidth with larger-increasing amplitude and less-fluctuation signal, is applied in the digital laser gyro demodulating circuit in this paper. The band-pass filter with the bandwidth of 2 Hz is obtained by designing algorithm based on FPGA. The contrast experiment is implemented in the digital laser gyro, and the system verification shows that the double-T filter has a 200% improvement at the signal-to-noise ratio when comparing with the IIR filter.

Investigation of high order DPA against cryptographic algorithm

Abstract:Differential power analysis is a powerful attack against cryptographic algorithms. An effective protection method is to mask the intermediate data during calculation. However, cryptographic algorithms with masking technology are still susceptible to high order DPA. Compared with normal DPA, there are more difficulties to be solved in high order DPA such as correct attack modeling, right choices of attack points, right construction of composition function and ways of improving s/n rate, etc. In this paper, by analyzing a classic masking scheme, we will demonstrate how to solve the difficulties mentioned above during a high order DPA attack, and then verify it on a hardware-implemented cryptographic coprocessor.

Study on a method of video-in-video based on encoding

Abstract:In order to solve the less embedding frames in the existing video-in-video algorithm, a novel video-in-video method is proposed ,which makes use of encoding and robust information hiding technology. Encoding is utilized in the proposed method to improve the error resilience performance of secret video. And then, the secret information is embedded into the frequency domain of the host video to further enhance reliability of the proposed method. The simulation results indicate that the mixed video signal, which is embedded with secret video, has transparent feature, imperceptibility and high security. Compared with the original algorithm, the proposed method increases the quantity of embedding frames and improves the quality of secret video. Covert communication of secret video based on video is achieved.

A word-level multiplier using optimal normal basis type II over GF(2m)

Abstract:In this paper, based on the research of optimal normal basis type II and reordered normal basis, a high-speed architectures for GF(2m) field multiplication using reordered normal basis are proposed. Complexity comparison shows that the proposed architectures are faster compared to previously presented architectures. One advantage of the new word-level architectures is that the critical path delay is a constan. This enables the multipliers to operate at very high clock rates regardless of the field size or the number of words.

Design of remote data receiver based on Web and nRF24L01

Abstract:A remote data receiver is designed based on S3C2440-Linux embedded platform and nRF24L01 RF module. The data receiver uses SQLite3 to store the data which are received by nRF24L01 RF module from the data acquisition node. Through browser user can access to the BOA server for data management. In CGI program, commands were passed to RF receiving by Posix message queues. Multithreading technology was used to process the received data. The approach of using 2.45 GHz wireless RF module to pass the data which are acquired by sensors to the data receiver is well suited for remote environmental monitoring, tourism management and other occasions.

The design of intelligent concentrator based on MBUS

Abstract:Aimming at centralized meter reading system focused around the intelligent water meter and heat meter, a kind of MBUS concentrator is designed. The MBUS concentrator can complete the collecting of the intelligent meter data that connects to the MBUS bus and the uploading to the monitoring computer via GPRS. In the paper the working principle of the concentrator and MBUS bus are introduced, and the transceiver circuits of the MBUS bus signals are described in detail. Because of the use of the single-chip control, the bus voltage can be detected real-time, the reference voltage of the comparator can be adjusted constantly, so the adaptability of the MBUS receiving circuit increases greatly. The test results show that the concentrator that has been realized has high reliability, strong load ability and high reading efficiency. And it has achieved very good effects in the practical application.

An electronic nose system based on the algorithm of PCA and LVQ hybrid neural network

Abstract:In order to evaluate the food quality without contacting, an electronic nose system composed of acquisition model, controller model and host computer is designed and developed based on six kinds of Figaro metal-oxide semiconductor sensor array, which can test the food without destructing. The Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) hybrid neural network pattern recognition algorithms are utilized in the proposed system to analyze the fingerprint database of gas. The experimental results show that this instrument can detect five different types of sauces accurately and is capable of distinguishing unknown sauce.

Development of BCU automatic test system based on virtual instrument

Abstract:As the key control equipment of the Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) braking system, the brake control unit has significant impact on safe and stable of train. Brake control unit circuit board automatic test system is designed based on current sensor and virtual instrument. Mature sensor technology, signal conditioning circuits design and graphical programming language of LabVIEW are applied to the automatic test system. The principle structure of system, hardware and software design and experimental test are descripted in detail. The field test result indicates that the system can greatly improve test accuracy and efficiency with good usability and scalability.

The hardware and software platform were established, the hardware and software design were proposed. Practical application shows that the newly developed device is not only fully functional, stable and reliable, but also has advantages of portable, intelligent and high integration.

Development of hand-held fault diagnosis on HEV power batteries

Abstract:A handheld HEV power batteries fault diagnosis based on wireless sensor network is designed, mainly including a wireless transmission module using ZigBee protocol stack processor, STM32F103VB micro-computer, battery monitor module, touch screen and wireless printer, etc. The hardware and software design for the handheld fault diagnosis is introduced in detail to realize the online monitor and fast fault diagnosis on HEV batteries. The instrument analyzes and forecasts the battery states,and provides early warning information for the battery maintenance and replacement.

Study of indoor localization technique based on WSN

Abstract:This thesis aims to study the localization methods which are based on distance estimation technique. For the radio signal is sensitive and the hardwares of nodes are different from one another, this paper proposes a scheme of finding the distance estimation model for every node. The position of the unknown node can be estimated by linear localization or maximum likelihood estimation algorithms. The authors conducted experiments to analyze errors of the distance-estimation model and compare the errors of the two different algorithms. And put forward the strategy of the integrated use of two localization algorithms.

The stable clustering algorithm applying to VANET

Abstract:In Vehicular Ad Hoc NETwork(VANET), network topology changes rapidly and link is not unstable. If the clustering algorithm of mobile ad hoc networks is directly used, a series of problems occur. For instance, transmission delay increases and package loss goes up. This paper presents a kind of improved and stabilized clustering algorithm based on AP similarity—SD clustering algorithm. The algorithm is based on similarity between nodes and node degree all round carries out cluster head elections, and takes advantage of geographical position information of nodes and neighbor topology information. The result of NS2 simulation shows that the algorithm could effectively improve the stability of cluster structure in VANET.

Research about handover from Macrocee to Femtocell in the TD_LTE

Abstract:When users handover from a Femtocell to Amacrocell,it is possible to arouse unnecessary handover.At the same time,3GPP suggested handover process can’t supply services without interruption on the downlink. This paper suggests a method to avoid unnecessary handover and reduce the interruption time.First we judge whether the handover is unnecessary or not.If it is,target cell will refuse the handover request, propose a candidate taret cell,and adjust the related handover parameters.If not,SGW will send the data to both the source and target cell when the handover has started.The simulation shows that this method can tremendously decrease the interruption time and data loss.

Enhanced TCPW scheme based on bandwidth estimation

Abstract:TCP Westwood (TCPW) has shown more superior performance than traditional TCP protocol in the error rate is high, unstable bandwidth wireless network environment. But it can not distinguish the reason of packet loss. Its bandwidth utilization, and performance is still insufficient. For this problem, the proposed the TCPW improved algorithm TCPW-J divided the network congestion level based on bandwidth estimation, to distinguish between congestion losses and wireless packet loss. Simulation results show the TCPW-J algorithm improves network bandwidth utilization, and maintains good fairness and friendliness.

An uplink power control algorithm based on equal SINR

Abstract:For data communication of secondary users in CDMA cognitive radio network, a new uplink power control algorithm was presented without disturbing primary users. The proposed algorithm is based on equal SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio) and energy-efficient utility function to solve a corresponding maximization problem. The algorithm is of low complexity and good user fairness, and its power solution is Pareto efficient. The simulation results show that compared with power control based on non-cooperative game, the proposed algorithm can effectively improve energy efficiency of secondary users and reduce the interference upon primary users.

A backoff algorithm of MAC protocol with density prediction and service classification

Abstract:In order to improve the performance in high-speed sensor networks which traffic load is high, study backoff algorithm of competitive MAC protocol, and propose a backoff algorithm of MAC protocol with density prediction and service classification which is based on PTTL. The protocol forecasts the number of neighboring nodes by weighted recursive smoothing, to achieve the purpose of the competition window adaptive node density; introducing awareness of the service classification, and giving the right of send priority to the nodes that are the high level of service, or data backlog or multi-hop, to meet the real-time requirements of critical data multi-hop transmission. The NS2 simulation results show that: the network performance of DPSC backoff algorithm in the nodes of high-density and high-load environment is superior to the other three algorithms. The average delay was 10% lower than the PTTL algorithm, throughput increased by 15%, and the average energy consumption decreased by 5%.

Research of secret key rate in the wireless flat fading channel

Abstract:In traditional wiretapping channel models, the legitimate channels are assumed to be completely reciprocal. Besides, the wiretapper can only receive the signals from one side of the legitimate users, which are not in accord with the process of secret key generation. In this paper, the traditional models are improved, on the one hand, the correlation coefficient is introduced to characterize the reciprocal degree of the legitimate channels, on the other hand, the wiretapper is assumed to acquire the information from both the legitimate users. Moreover, the expression of the secret key rate is deduced, the factors affecting the rate are also simulated and analyzed. The results show that the rate is increased with the correlation coefficient of the legitimate channels and SNR, but the rate is decreased when the correlation coefficients of the wiretapper increase.

A joint frequency synchronization and channel estimation algorithm for 802.11a/g

Abstract:The 802.11a/g can be used in indoor wireless audio transmission. According to the characteristics of indoor channel, an algorithm, which utilizes training sequence and pilot subcarriers, is proposed for carrier frequency offset estimation, channel estimation and residual phase tracking. The proposed algorithm is low-complexity and can be easily implemented in hardware. The simulations results also show that it has good performance.

Development of an agriculture experimental field-data acquisition system

Abstract:An agriculture experimental field-data acquisition system is developed based on Cloud Servers, with a terminal integrated of the ZigBee coordinator module, GPS module, GPRS module and RFID reading and writing module as medium, based on RFID electronic tags and temperature and humidity sensor distributed in the field. The combination of positioning of GPS and RFID electronic label is carried out on the agriculture experimental field sampling in the plant. ZigBee module is used for coordinating and managing the experimental field temperature and humidity sensors network collects the data through the network. GPRS module is used for the remote communicating and transferring the data between the system and the cloud server. Using embedded QT, it develops an embedded application module, which realizes human-computer interaction and control and manage the terminal. It is proved that this system have reached the design requirements though the simulation of Cloud Server.

Abstract:The authors has developed the application of nurse handheld tablet for patient rounds on Android platform. This application, developed on Android SDK and Eclipse IDE, is available in querying the basic information of the patient, the illness records, health status evaluation and other functions. Also allows the nurse to edit the patient's information and save to the server. At the same time, the nurse can measure health status periodically on patients and save the results to the server. The application was developed in the Java language. According to the requirements, the system functions models and cases analysis were given, and worked as expected on the emulator.

Design and research of intelligent vehicle terminal subsystem

Abstract:In order to reduce the harm, an intelligent vehicle terminal is designed for the safety of the transport of dangerous cargo independently. Through various types of sensors arranged in the vehicle, dangerous cargo and vehicle status can be real-time monitored throughout the transportation process. When the potential danger occurs, it can issue a warning signal to the driver; when an accident occurs, it can automatically trigger an alarm and give GPS location, which is convenient for road rescue. In addition, the intelligent vehicle terminal can exchange data and commands with the specified server via GPRS. The results show that: the intelligent vehicle terminal can run stalely, improve transportation efficiency, reduce traffic accidents, and has an exploratory significance to build the Internet of Things.

Abstract:PCIE technology and DMA technology are used to implement the real-time fiber image acquisition system. The paper focuses on how to implement DMA transmission on PCIE hard core and introduces the data stream of the system and the custom protocol of high speed serial fiber transmission. The test result shows that the DMA speed can reach 138MB/s, so the system fulfils the need of high-speed real-time fiber image acquisition.

Moving material bag detection method of a fused five frame difference and Gaussian model

Abstract:The article proposes a rapid detection method. Firstly, the article takes the dynamic conveyor belt and the plastic bags as the research object,uses the improved five-difference method to extract the images of moving material bags,At the same time,it takes the intermediate frame picture as a reference to update background;Then using the difference between the middle frame image and the background image,and makes morphological and operation between the foreground image and the moving image obtained by frame difference method;When the number of frames meets special condition,it shows that the frame includes complete image information of material bag, and saves the frame image, continues to detect;Oppositly, then compensate the adjacent frames which is not satisfied the condition by add operation. the experimental results shows that the method is accurate and fast, and has a strong robustness to environmental change.
