Design of CSAMT data monitoring system in cellphone based on Bluetooth

Abstract:In the work of CSAMT detection, the problem is that it is not convenient to monitor data in the field. To solve this problem, Bluetooth modules were embedded in the acquisition stations, so the system can transmit the CSAMT data to Android cellphone in certain format while collecting data. In the cellphone terminal, it firstly preprocesses received data using anisotropic smoothing algorithm, and then displays them on the screen in curve format, so the real-time data monitoring is realized. The system can help the persons to find out the problems in time, and it performs perfectly in application.

Design of OSD controller based on SoPC

Abstract:The OSD system is the interactive bridge of the user and display terminal. So in order to meet market demand and the current high-definition video developmental trends,a custom interface layout method and a two-step-index algorithm for OSD are applied, and the alpha overlay algorithm is converted to make it suitable for FPGA hardware implementation. The design achieves custom OSD function in a software-hardware co-operating way, which has the features like flexible to control and low resource consumption. Simulation is done on Xilinx′s Kintex7 FPGA development board,in which the core-chip is XC7K325T-2FFG900. The result proves that the design is available.

Research and implementation of testing technique for navigation equipment based on ATML

Abstract:Aiming at the problems existing in navigation equipment guarantee, the automatic test system of navigation equipment was developed. The TPS was designed with the help of ATML based on LabVIEW. The description of test resource of navigation equipment was specified in TPS with good reusability and portability. The practice application has proved that the system has lots of technology superiority, such as high-accuracy, powerful function and easy operation.

Research on the embedded software testing simulation modeling based on ADS2

Abstract:Embedded software usually runs on a specific physical environment, which has external devices of many kinds of interfaces and big function difference and demands strong real-time, so the testing needs to spend a lot of manpowered and material resources for building test environment. Aiming at this problem, with the semi physical simulation technology, simulation modeling of external equipments was established by using ADS2 test tools, and a realistic simulation environment for embedded software testing was build. ADS2 can meet the requirements of embedded software simulation testing′s generalization and real-time, and can effectively support the design and development of the simulation model of data source and crosslinking equipment. Test examples show that, by using the ADS2 embedded software simulation testing, it can speed up the construction process of testing environment, reduce the cost of testing, broaden the testing scope, and improve the quality and efficiency of embedded software testing.

Design of consumption video sensor node based on distributed video coding

Abstract:The communication mode and communication range are constrained by the complexity environment of the coal mine. Wireless multimedia sensor network technology can be used to improve the supervision efficiency of the production and provide powerful information guidance for emergency rescue work. So a video sensor node whose main processor is S3C6410 is designed based on DISCOVER distributed video coding solution. The hardware block diagram and software flow chart of the node are presented. The test results show that the node runs well and can monitor the process of coal mine safety production effectively. To a certain extent, it can prevent the coal mine accidents.

HDLC protocol used in VCU communication

Abstract:This paper proposes the application mode of using high-level data link control(HDLC) as a communication protocol between the control host and the valve control unit(VCU) in converter valve system. The converter valve system is a three layers control systems. The HDLC transceiver module is implemented by FPGA in control host and VCU, connecting with external optical transceiver and communicating by optical fiber. The control host downloads control commands, setting parameters and other data to the VCU via the HDLC protocol. While,VCU uploads the sample value of current and voltage, the status information of valve and other data to the control host through the HDLC protocol. Through the actual operation tests of the system, the results demonstrate that the HDLC protocol communication between the host and the VCU is reliability and timeliness, and the system has a high data throughput and flexible scalability.

The design of visual navigation of weeding robot control system based on Zedboard

Abstract:Paddy field weeding methods at this stage were most of the use of pesticides spraying.This method will cause pollution to the environment. The paper discussed the analysis,design and implementation process of the robot control system.The system uses Zedboard as the control core. PC sends instructions to the robots through ZigBee,and drives motor to complete the specified action. This paper focuses on the designs of human-computer interaction interface and remote video monitoring. Experimental results show that the control system has good dynamic response and strong stability.

Design of under-voltage protection with low temperature drift

Abstract:Under-voltage protection is important in DC-DC power management system. A short-voltage safeguard circuit, which changes less with the temperature, is presented in this paper. Compared with traditional short-voltage safeguard circuit, this circuit does not use additional bandgap reference and comparator. To minimum the effect of temperature on circuit threshold voltage and hysteresis voltage, temperature character of devices has been considered in this design. The circuit is based on 0.5 μm OKI technology library, Cadence and Hspice software are used in circuit simulation. The simulation results show that the circuit has good performance. When the supply voltage is reduced to 3.6 V,the output becomes high. While,when it rises to 3.79 V,the output returns to a low level, the amount of hysteresis is 0.19 V.And with the temperature change in -40 ℃~125 ℃,the threshold and hysteresis are just 30 mV and 70 mV separately. In the different models, the range of threshold and hysteresis is just 30 mV. It satisfies the demand of the design.

Implementation of low complexity FIR digital filters based on subexpression space

Abstract:FIR filters are realized on FPGA by using hardware description language programming based on sharing common subexpression. In these techniques, the coefficient multipliers are realized as a multiplier block(MB) with shared shifters and adders,and common subexpression sharing is used to effectively reduce the number of adders. The results of hardware synthesis show that the proposed method can efficiently save hardware resources consumption and achieve lower implementation costs,which is in favor of low-power design of digital systems.

Design of data collector for automatic weather station

Abstract:In order to meet the need of long time continuous work of field automatic weather station,a low power automatic weather station data collector is designed. In traditional automatic station,a common CPU is used for data acquisition and data processing,which causes CPU being in the continuous working state.Therefore,the data acquisition and data processing in data acquisition unit are separated in this paper,and two CPUs are used to complete the acquisition tasks,one is responsible for collecting data, the other is responsible for data processing, which reduces power requirements.Actual tests verify the rationality of the system.

Abstract:For the performance tests of a recorder on the missile, a ground test equipment is designed. Due to the rapid data transmission rate and large amount of data, in order to improve the test equipment receiving and data processing ability,a research on the design of interface card based on CPCI bus has been given, by which the high-speed data from receiving recorder can be transmitted accurately and processed efficiently. Through the actual verification, interface card can receive a large number of high-speed data, and upload data to the epigynous machine for display and save by CPCI bus in real time. It has very high reliability.

Design of parking lot positioning system based on Internet of Things

Abstract:A parking lot positioning system based on wireless technology is designed to solve the inconvenience of parking automobiles. The system is constituted of ZigBee module, liquid crystal display and other hardware devices. According to the different received signal strength indication, program of data transmission between MCU and host computer is developed using C language, and host computer software is developed using Visual Studio 2010. The parking lot terminal positioning system, with the communication between host computer and ZigBee module, is mainly designed. The experimental results show that the parking lot terminal positioning is stable and reliable,host computer is easy to operate,and the hardware design and software development have achieved the expected functions and requirements.

Simulink model of analog delay for bandpass Sigma-Delta modulators behavioral simulation

Abstract:The SD Toolbox is the common behavioral simulation tool of bandpass Sigma-Delta modulator, which is based on the Simulink environment. But there is only a resonator model with two delay units in the toolbox, which means that the toolbox could not be used to simulate the resonators with one delay unit or no delay unit. This paper analyses most of the non-ideal factors of SC analog delay, especially the limited DC gain, and accordingly carries out the factors′ behavioral models with Matlab. The constructed models could compensate for the mentioned shortcoming of SD Toolbox. The results of the bandpass Sigma-Delta modulator behavioral simulation show that the designed model is closed with the actual SC circuits.

Design and implementation of a certain aircraft twisted pair data transmission system

Abstract:For the requirements that devices in aircraft need long distance communication and cables are connected with lots of low-frequency connectors, the twisted pair data transmission system based on LVDS is presented.The system with discontinuous line impedance has much uncertain element.Some contrast research on the transmission attenuation of an LVDS signal under different frequency and transmission distance is given. The paper does some related test and theoretical calculation for the long distance transmission of the high frequency LVDS signal with equalizer. Finally the feasibility of the scheme is verified. The system has realized reliably transmitting data flow at 176 Mb/s to the distance of 104 m.

Application of LTC6803-4 in super-capacitor stacks management system

Abstract:In view of problem of the large cell voltage difference of super-capacitors in the process of series use, resulting in a loss of super-capacitor stacks energy storage efficiency and accelerated aging, a novel super-capacitor stacks management system based on battery stacks monitor chip LTC6803-4 was proposed. The functions of the system including monitoring the cell voltage and temperature of the stacks and equalization were realized. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed method is of high precision, high speed and low power consumption. This approach can effectively monitor and manage the super-capacitor stacks.

Fault location algorithm based on wavelet optimizing neural network

Abstract:After researching the advantages and disadvantages of existed methods for the fault line location in small current grounded system, this paper presents a method of fault location by combining wavelet transformation and neural network optimized by genetic algorithm. Based on the analysis of the single-phase ground of the system, the features are extracted according to singularity detection by using wavelet transform modulus maximum. And then optimized network model of fault location is constructed. Genetic algorithm has good global search ability. The capacity of non-linear fitting of neural network is well. These studies establish correspondence between features and fault location, and realize the fault location. The simulation result shows the fault location′s relatively error is less than 1.5%, and it is independent of fault distance, power supply phase angle and transient resistance.

Cross coupling and compensatory method for dual-load wireless charging system

Abstract:Based on circuit theory, by analyzing and modeling of magnetically coupled resonant wireless charging system with dual-load receiving coils, the expressions of transmission power and efficiency of the system are deduced. Using the method of numerical analysis, the influence of cross coupling effect on the transmission power and efficiency of the system was worth studying. Then a method of adding reactance to compensate for the cross coupling effect in the circuit is proposed and the simulation and experimental results have proved its feasibility.

Application of reducing EMI in half bridge switching-mode power supplies with chaotic duty of PWM

Abstract:Chaotic duty of PWM is considered in this paper. A practical application of the proposed methodology is shown by combining the DC-DC converter of half bridge topology. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that chaotic duty of PWM control spread the spectra of transformer current and output inductor current over the whole frequency band, so as to reduce EMI. This scheme provides the possibility for commercial applications.

AGV vehicle batteries active equalization method study based on SOC

Abstract:An AGV real-time active battery equalization method was proposed for the capacity imbalance issues among lithium battery monomers, which was based on SOC estimation and the flyback DC/DC charge and discharge principle between the battery pack and the monomers. The method achieved active equalization under different conditions by the energy transfers between the battery pack and monomers. The experimental results indicated that the proposed approach achieved real-time active equalization among 9 monomers, in which the balance adjustment time was 300 s and the capacity imbalance degree among the monomers was ≤ 5%, achieving the real time active battery equalization goal to ensure the AGV security and stability work.

Hardware system design of cancer cell sorting cytometer based on microfluidic chip

Abstract:Hardware system of cancer cell sorting cytometer based on microfluidic chip is presented in this paper. This system use photomultiplier tube(PMT) as sensor to detect fluorescence signal from the flowed cells in the channel in the microfluidic chip. A weak current detection circuit is designed to handle the output signal of PMT, to achieve the purpose of detecting the weak fluorescence signal of cells. Besides, an adjustable width high voltage(HV) source is designed to sort the cancer cells. It can produce adjustable amplitude between 0 V~1 200 V random HV signal. Thus this system can combine the cancer cell detect and counting with cell sorting in a single microfluidic chip.

Motion compensation of the CABG surgery assisted robot

Abstract:Aimming at the motion control of assisted robot in the off pump Coronary Artery Bypass Graft(CABG)surgery, we propose a coupled model based multi-sensor fused N step predictive control algorithm in this paper. The method takes Kalman filter as its state observer to improve the state estimation and thus enhance the tracking performance. Furthermore, The N step predictions enlarge the system bandwidth. The comparison experiment results shows that tracking error from the coupled model based model predictive control algorithm are 20% less than that using position only model.

Research on high-sideslip model reference adaptive flight control

Abstract:This paper develops a method of high-sideslip flight control based on model reference adaptive control (MRAC) to stabilize aircraft under one side aileron deadlock. Above all, the cascaded flight control scheme for high-sideslip straight flight is presented and the relationship among control signals is also analyzed. Next, the control structure and laws of MRAC for attitude inner-loop connected with sideslip command are designed in formulation, while the principle of choosing reference model is also given. Finally, the control scheme is verified under one nonlinear aircraft model in conditions of no fault and one side aileron deadlock. The simulation results show that when one side aileron deadlock occurs in accompany with aerodynamic data perturbation and random initial controller parameters, this control method could only utilize operation points of no-fault aircraft to make the fault aircraft follow given reference model responses and finally trace sideslip angle command without static error. The whole control scheme owns the preferable properties of robustness and practicality.

The design of radar data transfer interface based on CPCI bus

Abstract:According to the need of radar system data transfer and control, a scheme of radar receiver’s data transfer interface based on CPCI bus is presented. It includes CPCI bus interface circuit design of peripheral board based on the architecture of FPGA and PCI bridge chip; the driver design of main control board based on WDM framework. The experimental results show that the main control board and peripheral board can transfer data to each other efficiently, which meets the requirements of system.

Abstract:In this paper, a design scheme of high resolution color image acquisition system is presented based on Full Camera Link. Camera Link in the Full mode was used as a transmission-bus of data between the camera and capture card, that can rapidly, accurately and real-time transmit large amounts of data. Each part of the hardware and software designed method are described in detail. Practice has proved that the system can more clearly, more intuitive observe the experimental target and collect to color images of high resolution.

Design of digital current transformer based on Modbus/TCP

Abstract:This paper proposes a design of communication-capable digital current transformer with the function of temperature compensation. The digital current transformer adopts an STM32F103 microchip as the microprocessor. An ACS712 Hall current sensor is used to capture alternating current signal. The captured signal is digitalized by the A/D convertor of the processor and the RMS values of the signal are calculated. The data is encapsulated according to the Modbus/TCP protocol, and then transferred to a host computer via an industrial Ethernet network. This design realizes the communication between a host computer and a digital current transformer. ACS712 sensors need temperature compensation because the main factor determining measurement accuracy is temperature disturbance. In order to eliminate the influence of temperature on the Hall current sensor, an interpolation method is proposed to achieve temperature compensation for the digital current transformer. Experiments indicate that the digital current transformer is characterized by communication, stability and high precision.

Performance analysis of interventional cardiovascular stent antenna

Abstract:A novel method of portable diagnosis of restenosis is proposed in this paper. Based on perceptive interventional cardiovascular stent system, cardiovascular stent is used as the antenna and the radiation performance of the antenna is analyzed. The stent antenna model is simulated in both freespace and human model through CST(Computer Simulation Technology), and simulated return loss S11 and radiation pattern are presented. The return loss S11 is obtained with phosphate buffer and pork tissue sample, and good agreement between measurement and simulation is achieved. The simulation and experiment prove that 433MHz band can satisfy the communication demand of the system, and can be chosen as transmission band of the antenna.

Abstract:Because of the differences between channel characteristics of 10 kV medium-voltage and 220 V low-voltage power line channel, that would degrade the communication performance. In order to improve the communication performance, a real-time equalization algorithm during the interconnection of the two channels was proposed in this paper. In this algorithm, the real-time channel receiving spectrum based on the SIFT fast Fourier transform was estimated firstly. Then according to the slow time-varying characteristics of the channel, the receiving spectrum of the current channel combine with the previous time channel characteristics was used to estimate the current channel equalization value, and constitute a closed-loop feedback link. Simulation results show that the algorithm effectively improve the performance of medium/low-voltage power line channel interconnection communications.

Soft protection based on bandwidth compression in flexible spectrum optical networks

Abstract:In order to minimize operational resources needed to protect the path, based on the controllable modulation order, a service bandwidth compression mechanism is proposed, according to the level of the business operations for flexible soft protection to improve network survivability in flexible spectrum optical networks. Simulation results show that when the path spectrum resources are insufficient to restore the damaged business, under the premise of guaranting the business signal quality, the usage of soft protection technology reduce the transmission bandwidth required and improve the recovery rate of damaged businesses.

Capacity of time division duplex two-hop cascaded networks with one source and two sinks

Abstract:A two-hop cascaded network with one source node and two sink nodes is considered in this paper. The middle node is not only the target to receive, process, and separate its own messages, but also as the relay node, transmit other messages to the next sink node by decode-and-forward relay strategy. The network operates in TDD mode where transmit and receive frequencies are the same. We derive the cut-bound of the network to find the optimal time distribution coefficient, and its achievablity is proved. Finally the results are analyzed and verified.

Range sidelobe suppression of discontinuous spectra LFM signal based on Frank-like code

Abstract:For the purpose of getting wider band in the even busier air, several"clear" frequency bands are aggregated as a whole wide band. The phase gap caused by the frequency-hopping will raise the sidelobe both in distance and velocity domain. Based on this problem, this paper proposes a Frank-like code, which is applied to control the phase of transmitted signal and of oscillator in the receiver. During the process in the receiver, the phase gap can be compensated by the application of Frank-like code. The results of simulation reveal that the sidelobe in the distance domain is suppressed.

Abstract:Through the analysis of tail-biting convolutional coding theory,a validation of the tail-biting convolutional coding in several different channel performance is presented. Then a encoded method based on DSP which runs in CCS3.3 to verify the feasibility of the program. Finally explore several existing tail biting convolutional decoding performance through matlab, to get a reliable decoding method. This program has been applied to LTE-TDD wireless integrated test instrument development.

Research and implementation of tunable band-pass delta-sigma modulator for Class-S RF power amplifier

Abstract:Class-S RF power amplifiers have gained interest in all-digital transmitter, due to their promising features of high efficiency and high linearity. It is necessary to convert the arbitrarily RF input signal into a two-level pulse modulated signal. This can be accomplished by band-pass delta-sigma(ΔΣ) modulation. To achieve the efficient amplification for broadband RF signal, the center frequency of the modulator must be real time to follow the input signal frequency. In this paper, based on the study of the ΔΣ modulation algorithm, the design method of the band-pass ΔΣ modulator with tunable frequency is proposed. The simulation of this modulator is validated by Matlab. Finally, based on FPGA, an experiment circuit for the modulator is implemented. The simulations and experiments verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.

Dual templates sparse classification for facial expression recognition

Abstract:This paper proposes dual templates and sparse classification algorithm(DT-SRC) for facial expression recognition. The algorithm adds positive and negative dual templates to construct the new observation matrix on the basis of using the training sample for observation matrix, finally using SRC for identification. Respectively verification in JAFFE and CK face shows that the algorithm has high recognition accuracy rate, and the performance is better than the SRC.

Face recognition research based on adaptive logarithmic transformation and PCA algorithm

Abstract:To improve the recognition rate of facial recognition, a novel method based on adaptive logarithmic transformation and Principal Components Analysis(PCA) is presented. Firstly, adaptive logarithmic transformation is carried out to the face images, which improves the image fuzzy caused by illumination variations. Then, the images are processed by PCA algorithm to reduce dimensionality and extract features, so the calculation amount is reduced and recognition rates are improved. Then, the nearest neighbor classifier is selected as classifier for the recognition of face images. Finally, the ORL and Yale face database is used to test the proposed method. The experiment results show that the method can improve the recognition rate.

Affine-SURF algorithm for image recognition

Abstract:Previous SURF algorithm was not ideal for affine image matching, when the viewpoint had been changed with large affine angle. In order to solve the problem, an affine-SURF (Affine-Speeded Up Robust Feature) algorithm for image recognition is proposed. The proposed algorithm increases two invariant feature parameters of longitude and latitude. The method uses affine distortion parameters to simulate to deformation of an image at different angles. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms significantly the SIFT, SURF and MSER, especially when images suffer severe affine distortion.

Design of wide-range RF power detection system based on WSN

Abstract:A multipoint wide-range RF power detection system based on WSN is introduced.The sensor nodes are composed of CC2430 as MCU and TRMS power detection chip AD8362 with digital attenuator HMC274 as power probe,which realizes the wide-range power collection.By using the ZigBee wireless technology and GPRS network,the RF power value of each node is timing collected,stored and displayed. After the experiment of 2.4 GHz RF signal,the results show that the measurement range of power probe has reached from -50 dB~+40 dB, and the error is within 0.5%.The system can work stablily with an ideal communication effect.

Design and implementation of fast acquisition algorithm based on DSP Builder for GPS/BD2

Abstract:This paper introduces the basic principle of parallel code phase acquisition algorithm in GPS L1 and BD2 B1 frequency point. In order to reduce the amount of calculation, rise the speed of acquisition, guarantee the accuracy, and ease the implementation of circuit, the algorithm is improved by the method of fixed position of the average sampling. The fast acquisition circuit is designed in the environment of Simulink/DSP Builder. Simulation actual test results show that the DSP Builder graphical design environment is capable of implementing this improved fast acquisition algorithm efficiently in form of circuit. And the algorithm can not only display the FPGA parallel characteristics, but also reduce the demand for resources. This circuit design meets the requirements of real-time processing and rapid capture in the way of dual mode and dual channel while guarantees the acquisition precision.
