Design of high speed communication system for Cockpit display

Abstract:As the requirement of high speed data communication in Cockpit large-screen display system cannot be satisfied by the traditional low speed aviation bus, a kind of communication system based on MPC8548E is presented. In the system, PCIE bus is connected with the high speed aviation bus modules through two extension interfaces from PES12T3G2 switch to realize a high speed data exchange between the display and the other systems. The modules in the display are connected through RapidIO bus with three extension ports from TSI578 switch, which guarantees the high communication performance of the display backboard bus. The experiments are performed to validate the performance of the communication system. The system has a property of high bandwidth and high transmission speed, which satisfies the communication requirement of the Cockpit large-screen display system.

Design of high speed image transmission and communication platform based on Aurora protocol

Abstract:In infrared tracking and radar tracking, a tracking imaging system needs several signal processing boards working collaboratively. This paper proposes a high speed image transmission and communication platform based on Aurora IP core, which realizes high speed image transmission and communication between different processing boards through a cable. This design does not only improve the speed of image transmission and communication, but also simplify the complexity of the peripheral circuit. Through experimental verification, the designed high speed image transmission and communication platform works well with stable performance, and has been applied to the infrared imaging tracking system and radar imaging tracking system.

The design of synchronous data transmission interface for FPGA with general purpose processor

Abstract:The data communication method of FPGA with general purpose processor is studied. A method of synchronous data transmission is proposed based on FPGA and general purpose processor with SDRAM controller. This method firstly needs to build the synchronous input and output interface STI(Synchronous Transmission Interface) in FPGA, then the FPGA is simulated into an external SDRAM memory of general purpose processor with SDRAM controller. This way realizes the synchronous data transmission of FPGA with general purpose processor. The theoretical analysis and experiment using real circuit system show that the new method under the premise of without increasing any hardware cost can get more significant improvement of transmission rate than the traditional method of asynchronous transmission.

Design and realization of parallel configuration of multiple FPGAs based on PowerPC

Abstract:In order to overcome the shortages of common configuration modes, such as slowly speed, a parallel configuration scheme is put forward. Multiple FPGAs can be parallelly configured by PowerPC. The control logic is produced by PowerPC′s GPIO, and the configuration data is downloaded through PowerPC′s Local Bus. There are three bus width modes can be chosen, 8 bit,16 bit and 32 bit. The test results show that it requires 48 seconds configuration XC6VSX475T using JTAG mode, however, the time can be shortened to about 1 second using the proposed scheme.

Design of lightning detection system based on ARM

Abstract:Lightning detection system is required in specific situations such as fast location of lightning disaster on power transmission tower and lightning characteristics research. An intelligent lightning detection system including lightning signal collection module, centre control module, display module, memory module, time module and host computer module is implemented. A novel Rogowski coil is designed to use signals collected by collection module to detect lightning. The collected lightning data pre-processed by the master controller STM32F103ARM can be memorized and inquired if the SD card module, the time module and the display module are used. In addition, the remote real-time detection and data recording can be realized if the pre-processed lightning data are transmitted to the host computer by the RS485 bus.

Design of the healthy room environment monitoring system based on embedded technology

Abstract:For the impact of the current room environment on human health, healthy room environment monitoring system for intelligent home is designed. The controller in this system is based on Raspberry pi, Linux operation system and ZigBee wireless communications technology. It is considered to monitor the change of room environment at any time and provide users with the information of room environment. Temperature,humidity, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and formaldehyde are monitored. The data of room environment is processed in accordance with China national indoor air quality standard. The system processes the data in the way of data fusion and fuzziness and finally provides health hazards information. The system hardware complexity is low. It is easy to expand and move. The system is suitable for different living environment to monitor healthy environment.

Design of mobile anemometer based on ARM-Linux and CPLD

Abstract:The principle of measurement of wind speed and direction using ultrasonic time-of-flight was introduced. The design of mobile ultrasonic anemometer based on ARM-Linux and CPLD was described. The method of ultrasonic anemometer based on S3C6410 and EPM570T100C5 was given. The driving circuit, signal conditioning circuit, Linux transplantation and the software design were introduced. The experiment results show that the system can accurately measure wind speed and direction. It also has others advantages such as good reliability.

PLC data storage system based on SCM

Abstract:In order to solve the issue of low data storage capacity and data view inconvenience of PLC, a method based on SCM had been proposed to store data for PLC. It had been realized about the transmission and storage of data between PLC and U disk, hard disk or other storage devices. A serial communication interface had been designed for RS232 and RS485 to share the same serial port. SCM and PLC had been connected based on ModBus communication protocol. Data was been stored in the form of txt , doc or other files classes to make it easier for desk computer to analyze and process data. The long-term orderly storage of data had been solved by using time information to name data files based on DS1302 real time clock system.

Design of a polymorphic parallel processor data communication and router

Abstract:With the developing of multi-core technology,inter-core communication faces new challenges.Communication between cores determines the performance of the multi-core processors. By analyzing the data communications needs of multi-core processors,this paper designs a data communication structure for a polymorphic parallel processor. This structure uses two types of data communication, adjacent neighbor communication using shared registers and remote communication using router hardware.The main remote communication mechanism has input buffers,and employs the classical deterministic XY routing algorithm to achieve route calculation. It is able to do multicasting with fault tolerance capability.It adopts a specialized arbitration scheme to simplify design complexity. This improved architecture reduces the delay of inter-core communication and cuts the power consumption.It also improves the efficiency of communication between the processor core.

Design of remote data transmission expansion card based on LVDS

Abstract:For long-distance signal transmission requirements, a remote data transmission expansion card based on LVDS is designed. By using equalizer CLC014,LVDS signal received from twisted pair terminal can be restored and enhanced. Optical interface module circuit can seamlessly transmit data to several thousand meters. It is mainly introduced about the odd verify and double counter shake technology to prevent instruction misjudgment. The matching problem between LVDS interface clock and gathering rate is solved,as well as the problem that LVDS chip in optical interface is easy to lose lock when "FF" data is transmited continuously. Being verified by experiments,the card improves the reliability of data transmission, and transmits data thousands of meters with error free and without lost data. It has been put into application in engineering.

Design of IGBT driving and protection circuit of MMC converter station

Abstract:Aiming at the disadvantages of the complexity of periphery circuit,needing extra multi-channel DC power source, deficiency of protection function and poor reliability of commonly used IGBT driver module, which can difficult to satisfy the working requirement of modular multilevel converter station IGBT,this paper puts forward a method of focus switching power supply and driving circuit on one circuit board,and gives a specific design of voltage feedback circuit, over-load protection circuit, optic coupling circuit, over-current detection and protection circuit. This design can meet the working requirement of modular multilevel converter station IGBT through experimental validation. Also,this design offers some practical references to similar IGBT driver design.

Design of clock recovery based on FPGA+DDS

Abstract:To the shortcomings of two clock recovery circuit, lead-lag digital PLL and 1 bit synchronizer, a new method of fast clock recovery scheme using the DDS principle is implemented. The project adopts DDS technology as the high precision arbitrary frequency unit, and on this basis, the improved design of bit synchronization clock extraction is completed, which can fast extract clock from the data stream in real-time. The design principle and implementation method are given, and it is implemented with FPGA. Analysis and simulation test on its performance are given at last.

Design of an ultra-wideband low noise amplifier with noise canceling technology

Abstract:A TSMC 0.18 μm RF CMOS low-noise amplifier(LNA) for 3 GHz~5 GHz ultra-wideband(UWB) applications is presented in wireless communication system. The designed LNA employs single-ended to differential conversion and is successfully implemented using the noise-canceling technique. The transistor series with a load inductance to provide wideband matching. Simulation results show that the proposed circuit network achieves a voltage gain of 17.34 dB~19.6 dB, the reflectance scales of both input and output ports are less than -11 dB, and noise figure is 2.02 dB~2.67 dB, consuming 12.5 mW energy at a 1.8 V power supply voltage.

Design and implementation of real-time video scaling algorithm based on FPGA

Abstract:Through analyzing the trading off display effect and hardware realizability of several linear interpolation algorithms,the paper selects to implement video scaling by bilinear interpolation algorithm and uses RAM_FIFO architecture as the heart of algorithms implementation based on FPGA. The design mainly consists of the data buffer module, the coefficient generation module and the whole control module. The result indicates that the system can realize arbitrary scaling,and its flexibility, real-time and display effect are good,which can meet the application requirements of the actual project.

Design and research of locomotive battery charge and discharge control system

Abstract:Locomotive battery charge and discharge control system was designed and researched in this paper. Based on DSP- TMS320F2812PGFA platform, the external CPLD, SRAII, dual port RAM were expanded, and the hardware design of the whole control system was completed. The software design was divided into upper and lower machine software design. The logic of the operation parameter design and test data of detection system of storage and display, and the whole control system were designed. Finally,a detection control device with characteristics of the two-way flow of energy, the net side current sinusoidal, high power factor and power control was completed. The test results show that the system runs steadily,and isolated CAN bus interface data communication used with CAN2.0A/B protocol was with high reliability.

The study of digital-predistortion technology for space communication systems

Abstract:A digital Predistorter proposal scheme for space communication systems is presented to achieve high linearity and high efficiency power amplifier for non-constant envelope modulated signal transmission in space communications. Based on FPGA hardware and the simulated results of Matlab software, a digital predistortier realized by the inverse functions of the normalized input-output power characteristic fit curves of the power amplifier by the least-squares algorithm was used to realize better linearity characteristics of non-constant envelope modulated signals passed non-linear RF power amplifiers. EVM value of the modulated signals passed power amplifiers is less than 5% in which EVM value of SRRC-OQPSK modulation output signal with intermediate frequency in 60 MHz and maximum code-rate in 1 Mb/s was transformed from 4.71% to 9.09% by the digital predistorter.

Study on common-mode interference suppression method of non-isolated photovoltaic grid inverter

Abstract:Isolation transformer is not used in the non-isolated photovoltaic grid inverter. And the inverter has the characteristics of small size, low cost and high conversion efficency. But there is a direct electrical connection between photovoltaic array output and gird input. This electrical connection provides a circuit for common-mode current which will cause EMC interference and potential safety hazard. This paper analyzes the production mechanism of common-mode interference of non-isolated photovoltaic gird inverter and puts forward the methods which is based on the rules of common-mde current by analyzing the inversion topology to inhibit the common-mode current by changing modulation mode or changing topological structure. Experimental results show the validity of the proposed method.

Sine inverter technology research based on SPWM

Abstract:Modified sine wave inverter power, which is generated based on SPWM technology, has the drawbacks of many harmonic component in the output voltage, weakness on load ability,and cannot supply power to inductive load. To solve these problems and improve the load ability of inverter power supply,a new sine wave inverter power based on unipolar SPWM is designed. Through carefully arrangements of the switching transistors′ status and adequately controlling the zero/reverse voltage current continuing loop, a pure sine load current can be realized. The system′s key working and control process, especially the zero/reverse voltage current continuing, is described in detail, and the system′s function is verified by SABER simulation. It gets the pure sine wave voltage and current and overcomes the shortages of traditional SPWM technology, thus makes the follow-up longer service life of electrical equipment.

Application of chaotic carrier-frequency modulation in commercial switch mode power supply

Abstract:A new method that can realize chaotic carrier-frequency modulation in commercial switch mode power supply(SMPS) is presented to reduce electromagnetic interference(EMI). The method makes use of the continuous spectrum feature of chaos in switch mode power supply to reduce EMI. Chua′s circuit is adopted to design the chaos carrier circuit, which is used to drive the oscillator of pulse width modulation(PWM) IC. Thus, the chaotic carrier-frequency modulation is implemented, and the switching spectrum is spread to a wider range. A commercial SMPS based-on flyback topology is used as the test bed, and the simulation and experimental results show that the method proposed is effective for EMI suppression.

Design of mechanical fault diagnosis instrument based on ARM9 and Linux

Abstract:A portable mechanical fault diagnosis instrument based on ARM9 and Linux was designed, according to the characteristics of mechanical early fault. Resonant demodulation technology and AD7760 that is 24 bits high speed A/D converter were designed in data acquisition module. The instrument transmits data to remote monitoring system by GPRS or Ethernet.Adaptive multi-scale filtering based on morphological lifting wavelet is introduced to amplify weak impulse and smooth the noise, and then the weak impulse could be extracted efficiently. High reliability of the diagnostic result has been proved by fault rolling bearing example.

The research of ultrasonic testing method for the region of frame VIN code

Design of an intelligent AC and DC voltages data acquisition system

Abstract:In the light of the demand for achieving wide dynamic range and high precision voltage values in the fields of data acquisitions and electronic measuring instruments, a high precision intelligent AC and DC voltages data acquisition system is designed in this paper. This system is based on the voltage attenuation circuit, which coefficients are controlled by the single chip microcomputer STC89C52 to realize the automatic range switching. The scheme for measuring the true RMS values of AC voltages is adopted to implement the AC-to-DC conversion. And the voltage data is acquired by employing a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter. Furthermore, in the software the amplitude-limiting and average filtering method and the error correction technique based on linear fitting are respectively used to reduce the random jamming signals and the system error introduced by the nonideal characteristics. The practical running results show that this system has the advantages of high accuracy, small error, easy operation, convenient reading, and so on, and it has a broad application prospect.

A multi-channel temperature control scheme applicable to RFID chip packaging

Abstract:A new multi-channel temperature control scheme applicable to ACA multipoint is introduced. MCU C8051F020 is designed as the core. The hardware circuit, mainly including temperature acquisition circuit, heating driver circuit and microcontroller circuit, is also designed. At the same time, the data acquisition and filtering algorithm of software are realized, using integral separated PID to control heating module. The temperature test show that the system has high precision and good stability. Product rate of typical UHF tags 9662 above 99.85%, the consistency and stability meet the requirements. The scheme is suitable to apply to ACA multipoint curing process in RFID chip packaging.

Fault forecast of equipment based on grey Verhulst model and wavelet neural network

Abstract:Aiming at the problem that there are more difficulties including less samples required and low precision in the fault forecast of modern weapon equipment, a new fault forecast method for equipment based on grey Verhulst model (GVM) and wavelet neural network (WNN) is proposed. Combining the advantages of GVM and WNN, the defects of the BP neural network training with small sample fault data are overcome. The experiment results show that compared with other methods, the proposed method has high precision. It can contribute to the level of fault forecast and maintenance of the weapon equipment both in theory and activity.

The application in SCME of STA-CORDIC based on FPGA

Abstract:In view of the importance of fixed-point Sine and Cosine functions based on CORDIC and the game problem among the algorithm accuracy, resource consumption and delay time in SCME(Spatial Channel Modeling Extended), this article presents the STA-CORDIC which adding a error statistical analysis module of algorithm accuracy, the number of iterations and the fixed-point number of bits after the traditional CORDIC algorithm, and then conducting the FPGA implement based on the Virtex-6 chip of Xilinx company. Through the application in the SCME module in LTE RF conformance testing instrument verified that this algorithm could solve the optimization tradeoff between the accuracy and processing speed.

Micro-blog user attention degree method based on forgetting law

Abstract:It is significant for targeted marketing and personalized recommendation to grasp accurately the interest of micro-blog user. It is a valid idea to predict current attention by history information of the user. In this process, the higher attention degree to the field is, the more a user pay attention to a concern field, and the stronger the reference value of the message is, the nearer the distance between user attention time to a message and current time is. These two points can be regarded as the process of human’s repeated learning and forgetting gradually. Therefore, this paper proposed a method of calculation micro-blog user’s attention based on forgetting law. Experiments show that the method can predict micro-blog user’s attention better.

Anti-SEU spaceborne MIMO detection design based on SEC-DED

Abstract:This paper analyzes spaceborne processing problem of signal event upsets. Proposed an low overhead anti-SEU spaceborne MIMO detection algorithm based on SEC-DED. This design operates algorithm segmentation and extended calibration to achieve self-error test and self-error correction function. This method takes fewer resources to enhance the overall reliability of the system.

Improved spectrum sensing algorithm based on DMM

Abstract:In order to enhance the performance of the difference between the maximum and the minimum eigenvalue (DMM) algorithm, an improved cooperative sensing algorithm (IDMM) based on heightening the estimation accuracy of eigenvalue is presented in this paper. By the decomposition and recombination of the sensing signals, which increase the number of logic signals, the proposed algorithm exhibits a good robustness against the short of cooperation users. Theoretical analysis and simulations all show that the performance of the proposed method is superior to that of the DMM algorithm.

The analysis and implementation of geosynchronous orbit meteorological satellite

Abstract:In order to study the propagation characteristic of geosynchronous orbit satellite channel,the free space loss, ionospheric scintillation, atmospheric absorption, multipath and shadow effects were analyzed based on the spatial distribution of the satellite-earth link. The Rice and Suzuki model of the geosynchronous orbit satellite channel were proposed according to the good or bad weather condition. Then the two-state Markov model was introduced into satellite channel model. Finally, the satellite channel simulator was designed and simulated based on the proposed method. The results show that the data of proposed model has a good consistency of the measured one.

Weak signal detection based on Pseudo-Hamiltonian using the scale transformation duffing oscillator

Abstract:For the detection of weak engineering signal under strong noise background, a novel method was proposed in terms of conventional detection. This method referred to the scale transformation Duffing oscillator based on Pseudo-Hamiltonian. The high-frequency engineering signal was changed into a fixed low-frequency signal by scale transformation. Thus the unique state transition threshold was determined, and the problem of low-frequency parameter limitation was overcome for the signal. The joint denoising system of autocorrelation and wavelet threshold transformation was composed, so the negative impact from noise was avoided for the detection result. Pseudo-Hamiltonian was constructed to depict the dynamic behavior of Duffing system in real time, therefore reducing the calculation complexity and raising the efficiency when judging the system state quantitatively. Simulation results indicate that this method can be used to detect low SNR period signal with any frequency and phase quickly. So the weak signal detection method is improved under strong noise background.

A novel method of PSK symbol rate blind estimation

Abstract:To solve the problem of heavy computation complexity and fixed sliding window length which is not applicable to variable rate situation in symbol rate blind estimation, the paper proposed a novel PSK symbol rate blind estimation method based on rough estimation using power spectrum accumulation and precision estimation by improved cyclic spectrum. Using power spectrum accumulation and inflection point approximate search algorithm solved the symbol rate rough estimation and analyzing the influence of accumulative length in accuracy firstly. Then, improved anti-noise performance and reduced the calculation times in cyclic spectrum estimation algorithm using cross-correlation theory. Lastly, derived the loop frequency calculation interval and optimal smoothing window length from rough estimation and realized accurate symbol rate estimation using cyclic spectrum. Simulation results show that the novel algorithm is stronger anti-noise, lower computation, and more practical in cognitive radio receiver.

Abstract:According to the security problems of mobile terminal, a scheme of trusted-services oriented mobile terminal based on TPM is proposed. In software layer, taking references of key technology as reliable technology, application environment analysis, network service, error detection and fault tolerance mechanism, services oriented trusted system and reliable authentication scheme are established. In the hardware layer, it is based on the TPM and parallel processor computing architecture, using customized internal bus message transfer mechanism to achieve automatic secure share data copy between distributed storage area.

Visual navigation system for quadcopter

Abstract:A visual navigation system based on computer vision is designed to meet the requirement of spot landing. Landing platform should be set on the ground and quadrotor vision sensor is used to acquire images of the surroundings. In order to achieve flight navigation control, the navigation system extracts the feature points , locates the quadcopter, and sends control instructions by wireless communication.

Remote vehicle smart drunk monitoring system based on QNX

Abstract:With the frequently accidents of drunk driving, drunk driving car monitoring system has become the core of the modern new vehicle auxiliary driving unit. The traditional drunk monitor mode depended mainly on the unscheduled breath sampling of the driver, which seriously affected the convenience and the real-time monitoring of drunk driving. In this paper, a remote vehicle intelligent monitoring system based on QNX for drunk driving was proposed, QNX, which was known as real-time and security, was used to build a car terminal software platform. Gas sensitivity alcohol sensor was introduced to calculate the driver′s alcohol concentration in the center of the driving seat in real-time. Remote wireless communication system based on GPS was designed to monitor vehicle drunk driving level in real-time. The experiment shows that this method can not only effectively reduce the frequency of drunk driving accidents, but also greatly enhance the vehicle driver assistance interconnected and intelligent.

Nonlinear target tracking in non-Gaussian noise condition based on variational-step resampling

Abstract:Target tracking problem of nonlinear moving in non-Gaussian noise was studied. Two methods of generating non-Gaussian noise were given, which were probability distribution function and data base. The former was supported by strict mathematic theory, and the latter was easy to operate. Furthermore, one variational-step re-sampling method based on confidence interval was proposed, which was added into process of particle filter. Simulation shows generated non-Gaussian noise has good peak characteristics, new particle filter method could realize target tracking with high precision and avoid the disadvantage of particle degeneracy, which provides new thoughts for study of nonlinear target tracking.

Continuous abdominal images segmentation based on fusion images

Abstract:To achieve a real-time and accurate segmentation of continuous abdominal images, an improved level set model composed with prior shape information in Chan-Vese and gradient information in Li model is proposed, which is used to extract the interesting region from abdominal image. To the trifle difference adjacent continuous abdominal images, the first image′s segmentation can be the second image′s pre-segmentation so as to improve the segmentation efficiency of the continuous abdominal images. Experiment results show that this model is able to effectively segment abdominal image from relatively connected region, and obviously improves time efficiency in segmenting continuous abdominal images.
