Implementation of MIMO radar signal processing based on multi-core DSP

Abstract:In the view of the synchronization and real-time requirements of multi-channel echo in MIMO radar system, this paper proposes a method of parallel implementation based on multi-core DSP TMS320C6678 after analyzing characters of the MIMO radar signal processing and hardware structure of multi-core DSP. Many key techniques are solved in the process of design. This method implements task-level parallel processing and efficient communication. The experimental results show that the method realizes the application of low power consumption and high real-time in the use of smaller hardware platform.

Research of transistor characteristic graphic instrument based on Android phone

Abstract:Using Cortex-M0+ microcontroller and Android platform, a transistor characteristic graphic instrument is designed with Bluetooth technology to realize wireless data transmission. The paper introduces the work principle of measurement system, expounds hardware circuit which includes the base step-wave current generator, the collector scan voltage generator and Bluetooth communication module, and describes the software flow of lower computer and software development method based on Android platform in detail. The designed system achieves the function of transistor characteristic curve such as storage, display and analysis in the smart phone. Test results show that the instrument has high precision and good stability,and is easy-to-use.

Research and implementation of ARM11 transplantation on Nucleus operating system

Abstract:Based on the research of boot loader and memory assign on ARM11, the Nucleus operating system is transplanted on the chip of ARM11 sturcture. Taking S3C6410 as an example, the paper details the boot loader, design of interrupt and timer, task scheduling and method of trigger. Currently there is a successful transplantation for TD-LTE system. The transplanted operating system realizes the base function of operating system and meets the requirements of TD-LTE system in real-time and task management.

Development of OBD module of SCR system of diesel engine

Abstract:Referencing to the standard requirements of OBD technology,the OBD diagnosis strategy is made,and the programming for OBD module is given based on freescale MC9S12XET256. Finally, the simulation models of CANoe and MATLAB/Simulink are established, the emulation is carried on the OBD module. The result verifies the correctness of the diagnosis strategy and the programming. And the programming is improved based on simulation results.

The design of wave buoy based on ARM

Abstract:For the extraction of wave frequency, a wave buoy that based on the ARM and Linux system is introduced. This system used SP5V210 which is a 32-bit controller as its control unit, expanding the acceleration sensor module, GPS and GPRS network transmission module.The acceleration is decomposed and calculated with the Hilbert algorithm,calculating the instantaneous frequency of wave. In order to acquire the attitude angle, we have to compute the integral of the angular acceleration which is through the Kalman filter. Finally, the necessary data is sent back to the monitoring center through the GPRS network. It is proved by practice that the system can effectively achieve the instantaneous frequency and ensure the stability and reliability of the data acquisition and transfer.

Intermediate frequency digital receiver achieved on SoC

Abstract:In order to improve the performance and miniaturization of intermediate frequency digital receiver, this paper designed an intermediate frequency digital receiver system based on SoC of Altera Co.,which realized digital down converter,spectrum analysis,ITU parameters measurement, field density calculation, audio demodulation system configure and so on. By building a monitor system to test the receiver, the experiment shows that the performance of the designed receiver can meet the demands and return signal monitoring data immediately.

Design of an audio processing filter based on SOPC for voiceprint extracting front

Abstract:For voiceprint authentication integrated design requirements, front audio preprocessing module for feature extraction of voiceprint SOPC designs was implemented in EP2C35F using SystemVue,Quartus II platform and DSP Builder technology. Digital audio filter parameters were designed primarily through SystemVue. And then with Simulink platform,the low-pass filter was designed based on linear phase structure and distributed(DA) algorithm. Finally,the design for the HDL language was given through Signal Compiler conversion. The results showed that the system can effectively limit the bandwidth of the audio signal to reduce noise band,and using DSP Builder to design the filter with linear phase structure and DA algorithm maked sure design cycle was short, occupied logic resources were few, and the operation speed was greatly improved. The correctness of this design was verified by MATLAB theoretical calculations also.

Design and realization of data processing unit of flight display

Abstract:In order to fulfill the requirements of flight display′s performance, power dissipation, volume, cost etc in the small general aircraft, a data processing unit of flight display based on double processors is realized. First, the paper introduces the design requirements of flight display in the small general aircraft. Then it describes the system architecture of flight display and the realization of software and hardware in data processing unit in detail. At last, the function of data processing unit is validated through the realization of typical primary flight display interface. The experiment indicates that the data processing unit has the characteristics of high data processing capability, high integration, low power dissipation and high extending capability, which has broad application prospects.

Design of drive and protection circuit of IGBT based on 2SC0535

Abstract:The drive characteristics of 2SC0535 in detail was shown in this article,and the implementation principle of short-circuit protection,advanced active clamp,supply undervoltage protection and isolated DC/DC converter were analyzed. 2SC0535-based 3 300 V/1 200 A IGBT drive and protection circuit was given as well. The experimental waveforms of the driving circuit was given at last. This good protection performance was verified for applications requiring high reliability in industry and traction.

A modified current-sensing circuit for DC-DC buck converter

Abstract:Based on the current-mode control can improve the performance of the DC-DC buck converter, this paper proposes a modified current-sensing circuit for DC-DC buck converter, which enhances the sensing speed and the sensing accuracy of the current sensor. Through the theoretical analysis of the circuit and Cadence simulation with SMIC 0.18 μm process, the proposed peak current-sensing circuit can achieve sensing accuracy of 96% and settling time of less than 40 ns under the condition of the load current 50 to 500 mA. The DC-DC buck converter operates at the switching frequency of 2 MHz, the supply voltage ranges from 2.5 to 4.2 V, the output ripple voltage is less than 18 mV with a 4.7 μH off-chip inductor and a 10 μF off-chip capacitor.

Application of SDRAM on graphics generation circuit

Abstract:According to the requirement of real-time generation and display of high resolution graphics at cockpit graphics display system, a method of graphics generation circuit based on SDRAM frame buffer is proposed. The graphics generation algorithms are performed by DSP.SDRAM frame buffer is accessed in ping-pong operation mode and the graphics can be generated in real-time in cooperation with FPGA. Only two chip of SDRAM is needed to generate the graphics with resolution of 1 600×1 200 in real-time. The proposed system can be used for multiple resolution graphics by modifying the timing parameters and interface logic.

Multi-gigabit concatenated Reed-Solomon and convolution codes decoder

Abstract:In this paper, a multi-gigabit concatenated Reed-Solomon(RS) and convolution codes(CC) decoder architecture is proposed for the 60-GHz wireless personal-area network(WPAN). In the proposed architecture, the RS and CC codes are used as outer and inner codes, which are concatenated by interleaver. This paper designs the ultra-high-speed concatenated decoder via adopting a Viterbi-based parallel-8 CC decoding structure and an RiBM-based RS decoding structure. In TSMC 0.13 ?滋m CMOS technology, the decoder achieves up to 2 Gb/s throughput with the overhead of 0.135 nJ/bit and 5.19 mm2.

Optimized design of the high-speed storage system based on FPGA

Abstract:For the data recording device of telemetry system, it′s a problem that the transmission rate of data can not match the rate of storage. The paper puts forward the parallel storage scheme of Flash. With the interleave two-plane page program mode, the storage rate reaches double of the highest speed of monolithic Flash, namely 60 MB/s. The design of logic control of dual port RAM is improved to solve the problem of the data storage anomaly. In the aspect of data recovery, this paper puts forward the idea of double design and spare reading interface, which has been successful practiced in engineering application,and verified the reliability of the data recording device.

Abstract:In combination with the features and application background of 3D-TOF sensor,the working principle and driving timing sequence of a 3D-TOF made by PMD Tec are introduced. Based on the analysis of the logical relationship of the driving time sequence,the timing simulation is achieved with Verilog language by taking ISE as the development platform. The result of experiment shows that the designed driving timing sequence can meet the demand of the 3D sensor.

Power Supply Technology and Its Application

Design of capacitance quickly charging based on the technology of coupling resonance

Abstract:Based on the coupling resonance technology, the method of capacitive rapid charging is put forward, so as to realize the wireless power transmission mid-distance. The superiority of the coupling resonance technology compared with non-coupling resonance technology is analysed,and by statistic analysis, conversion efficiency is concluded that under a certain power input on a working frequency between RF power and DC power. A coupling resonance circuit is designed,modeled and simulated through a software. Then adding antenna-rectifier circuit,the whole circuit is modeled and simulated,and the non radioactive energy effective transmission is resulted in corresponding energy transfer efficiency. The coupling resonance circuit is fabricated and there is a very good coincidence between the simulated and measured data. The design is simple and farely practical, and it is suitable for widely applied in the practical engineering application.

Design of equalization circuit for Lithium-ion batteries in AGV applications

Abstract:The inconsistency of battery was easily caused by harsh operating environment in automated guided vehicle applications. In order to solve the problem, a kind of equalization charging scheme based on isolate single-ended flyback converter and DC/DC constant current & constant voltage circuit is proposed in this paper. The design of equalization circuit and the balanced strategy also were introduced. Experimental results showed that the charge current of the equalization circuit was up to 10 A which could regulate the inconsistency of battery quickly. This could meet the requirements of the battery in AGV applications which usually need charge and discharge with high current frequently.

Abstract:The system establishes a model based on adaptive neural network for predicting the State of Charge(SoC),which can be applied to systems that need accurate control of battery power. Firstly, the ANFIS-based prediction model defines the network learning algorithm. The MATLAB simulate program generates several initiations to train the ANFIS model,and trains the network model with experimental data, analyses the change of ANFIS structure and values of parameters. Then, by comparing the values between ANFIS model and the real experiment, this paper adjusts the parameters and contrests experiment again. Finally, the design of hardware and software is performed, and an AC injection method is obtained in this paper to deal with the problem of measure battery internal resistance.

Design of dual mode AC/DC switching power with a secondary conduction zeros crossing detection

Abstract:Based on the resonance between primary inductance and parasitic capacitance in power switching transistor when secondary current from peak drops down to zero, a secondary current zeros crossing point detection is proposed in this paper. It can be used to estimate zeros crossing point of secondary current and has load short or open protection. Also it will avoid the system working in continuous conduction mode(CCM) from discontinuous conduction mode(DCM) abruptly. A more stable and double mode will be achieved in the proposed circuit.

On-site EMC test method based on beamforming

Abstract:In the complicated electromagnetic environment, the biggest problem in on-site electromagnetic measurement is to filter out background noise. A new method of on-site test based on array signal processing is proposed in this paper. First,it uses spatial smoothing algorithm to estimate the DOA of radiation signal,then achieves the beamforming based on MVDR to realize spatial filtering. The simulation results prove that this method can effectively filter out background noise with the frequency of the coherent signals and improve the accuracy of on-site electromagnetic radiation measurement.

The design of multi-client spectrum monitoring system

Abstract:Nowadays, the general small network spectrum monitoring receivers only support individual client, which brings a certain amount of waste on the construction of spectrum monitoring stations. Based on multi-core and multi thread technology, a pipeline parallel processing architecture for multi-client spectrum monitoring system is proposed. This system not only guarantees the concurrent execution of the spectrum monitoring tasks which from different client, but also ensures the real-time spectrum monitoring. This system enables multiple client to be connected and perform spectrum monitoring tasks at the same time, which effectively improves the utilization efficiency of the receiver, and enhances the flexibility of the receiver.

Phased array radar antenna array recording system

Abstract:As the phased array radar has been widely applied, the recording and loading system should achieve a higher data speed. For the shortage and limitation of traditional recording and loading system, a new design of the system based on FPGA has been proposed and implemented combining its advantage. This system is designed in card. Besides, FPGA is used to control the data storage and loading. Then, the data is managed by a custom file system. The speeds of data recording and loading reach 292 MB/s and 340 MB/s dividedly. Experimental result shows that the new recording and loading system works well and achieves generality.

Design of A/D conversion system based on CDT2000 I/O port

Abstract:To realize high-speed and high-precision data conversion from sensors, an analog-to-digital(A/D) conversion system was proposed. The A/D conversion system was composed of an AD7891 chip, a PC/104 module,CDT2000 module and a DM74LS73A J-K flip and flop. The AD7891 pins′ voltage was controlled by CDT2000 I/O ports to carry out the data writing,data reading and parallel interface operational sequence. CDT2000 connected with PC/104 through bus. DM74LS73A J-K flip and flop was adopted to distinguish negative pulse which was outputted by AD7891 at the end of conversion every time. The experimental data indicates that the AD conversion system satisfies the design requirement well and the hardware circuit is simple.

Design of HPM source control system with fiber digital interface

Abstract:In design of the control system for HPM source, time-series signal and switch data are processed by photoelectric converter. They are linked with fiber to improve the electromagnetic compatibility. RS485 serial communication bus and optical fiber transmission are implemented in the data communication between equipments of HPM source and the control system. Meanwhile,the communication protocol and data interface are confirmed. To realize interaction of command and data, the link network between C2(command and control) system and the local control system employs optical fiber Ethernet transmission technology. The operating room and the field electromagnetic environment are effectively separated by digital transmission net with fiber data interface to protect personnel and equipment from danger. Replacing cable with fiber, the electromagnetic interference is avoided and the transmission distance increases. The technical basis for the reliable operating of the control system and HPM sources is established with this control technology.

Design of handwritten drawing board based on coordinate positioning of PCB

Abstract:The system can realize the function of handwritten drawing board. When the stylus touches the PCB board, the corresponding coordinate and the quadrant will be displayed on a display LCD12864.What is more, the stylus′s circular path will be displayed, too. The whole designing scheme is mainly controlled by STC89C58 single chip microcomputer. Using the principle of Wheatstone bridge, a four-way signal is produced respectively from the PCB′s four pins. The produced weak signals will be amplified about 10 000 times by four instrumentation amplifiers INA128. Then the amplified signals will be converted by ADC TLC2543.Lastly, a database is established in the MCU and it′s able to confirm the stylus position by the look-up table. The designing demands can basically satisfied using this planning and the syetem can be further improved.

Design of adaptive antenna matching low frequency RFID reader

Abstract:In the industrial site, field, and even water, RFID reader antenna electrical parameters can change. This change causes that the antenna impedance mismatch and transmitting power significantly decline. Finally RFID reader′s read range and efficiency will be reduced. To solve the problem, an adaptive antenna matching RFID reader system is designed. This system adds adaptive capacitive matching matrix, sinusoidal RMS detection and analog-to-digital converter on the basic reader system. This system scans the antenna transmitting signal amplitude with deploying the capacitance matrix, the best match capacitance is detected and the best antenna impedance match is gotten. Experiments show that the system can automatically realize impedance matching and acquire the maximum transmission power.

Analysis and research on HARQ combination algorithm in LTE-A system

Abstract:One of the goals of LTE-A is to provide higher data rate for the user,this puts forward higher requirements on reliability of the mobile communication,therefore the introduction of hybrid automatic retransmission request(HARQ) technology is very necessary. HARQ technology can effectively reduce the error rate,improve the throughput performance of transmission system,provid real-time services;but there is a great effect of HARQ merging algorithm for the performance of the HARQ system. This paper mainly based on the HARQ merging algorithm research and simulation analysis,finds out the merge algorithm for the best performance gain.

A compatible interoperability evaluation method for global navigation satellite system signal

Abstract:In view of the global navigation satellite system(GNSS) compatible interoperability evaluation, the differences between the spectral separation coefficients(SSC) and equivalent carrier to noise ratio attenuation value ?驻(C/N0) for the evaluation are analysed and an evaluation method of GNSS signals the compatibility and interoperability based on ?驻(C/N0) is presented. It is proved by simulation that the method has practical value.

Application of hidden Markov chain in impulsive noise modeling

Abstract:In the medium-voltage power line channel noises, random impulse noise is a major factor affecting the medium voltage power line communication. In this paper, medium-voltage power line channel impulse noise is measured and counted. And then the probability distribution curves of the pulse width and the pulse interval time are drawn. Based on hidden Markov chain model, statistical models of pulse width and pulse interval time are established. The model parameters are obtained by fitting the measured probability distribution curve. Model simulation results show that the model and the actual probability curve have a good degree of coincidence. At last, random pulse noise whose parameters meet statistical model is simulated. And a theoretical basis is provided for power line communication further study.

The implementation and simulation of IEEE 802.16e LDPC coding

Abstract:According to the definition of IEEE802.16e LDPC coding, this paper proposes a high-speed state machine to achieve fast coding algorithm. This algorithm is realized under the Quartus II environment by using Verilog HDL and timing simulation is also made. The results show that the design has a good real-time performance. It overcomes the shortcomings of complex pre-processing and consumption of logic resources. Finally, the BER performances between this design and shortened DVB-S2 codes are compared under MATLAB. The facts which can restrict shortened DVB-S2 code performance are also analyzed.

A TOA/AOA hybrid localization algorithm based on wavelet analysis

Abstract:Wavelet analysis of separation and extraction of the signal-noise has a good effect on the weak signal, this paper presents a wavelet analysis in the application of the localization algorithm. At first,wavelet transformation is used to denoise the TOA(time of arrival)/AOA(Angle of arrival) measurements in the NLOS(non line-of-sight) environment, then the processed data is located by LS algorithm. The simulation results show that compared with the neural network algorithm,the algorithm has convergence speed, high positioning accuracy, good reliability, and it is feasible.

An improvement of LEACH for energy optimization

Abstract:In the LEACH routing algorithm, cluster head nodes are elected randomly and communicate with the base station directly. This mechanism leads to energy consumption of nodes too fast and unequal. We propose an improved cluster head nodes election method and multi-hop routing algorithm. In our improved protocol, the cluster head nodes have more residual energy than the average energy of the network. Cluster head nodes are divided into different areas according to different position relationship with the base station. The cluster head nodes are far away from the base station transmit data by multi-hop in order to avoid transmitting with high power consumption. Simulation results show that the cluster nodes can extend wireless sensor network lifetime, even though the wireless network data traffic increases.

Improvement and performance analysis of IEEE 802.11 DCF with optimal contention window

Abstract:As the initial contention window could not derive its optimal value based on the network scale, a new medium access protocol with two-backoff stage named OCW-DCF is proposed. Its performance is analyzed with a two-dimensional Markov model. Simulation results show that OCW-DCF could effectively reduce the average channel access delay. The performance of OCW-DCF using basic access method is better than that of using RTS/CTS access method.

Abstract:Live video is one of the best media forms to reflect the real-time information dissemination. This paper describes how to implement a mobile live system through video capture and transmission functions of 3G/4G mobile.The current status of the development of mobile live system is given,then a mobile video live system based on streaming media technology is designed and realized. The actual effect of the system indicates that users can make a live video on internet with 3G/4G mobile anytime and anywhere,and remote viewers can use VLC player based on personal computers to watch live video. The system brings convenience to people using it.

Abstract:The design and implementation of a Web-based 3D smart home system are given combined with the latest technology. This paper gives an introduction of smart home system in detail. The technology of 3D virtual reality has been used to make the home more synchronized with the real scene and wandering around the home has been made possible. At the same time, the humanized 3D interactive interface, which is a representation of real home scene, allows users to perform a variety of remote control and monitoring in the virtual reality environment.

A controller for binocular visual servo robot based on generalized Hamiltonian systems

Abstract:In this paper, the visual servoing control problem of eye-in-hand robotic systems is considered. Firstly, we construct the Generalized Hamiltonian Visual Feedback Systems(GHVFS) by combining the new stereo vision model and the manipulator dynamics. Then, the visual servo controller is considered under the GHVFS. Secondly, the problem of the L2-gain performance analysis is studied and the stability of the closed-loop system is proved. Finally, experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Abstract:With the development of Internet of Things and Internet technology, a new intelligent mobile inspection system based on two-dimensional code recognition is designed in the paper, which is implemented by introducing intelligent mobile terminals into monitor network according to the current situation and requirements of inspection for electric power equipments. And the system scheme not only combines the two-dimensional code scanning identification technology, but also fuses 3G mobile communication technology with Web Service data mining technology. Finally,a new communication technology platform for intelligent mobile inspection is built. In addition, the successful implementation in some electric power station has proved that this system can reduce considerable costs and improve automation level of power inspection, and is of great significance and practicability for promoting intelligent electric power inspection.

Abstract:In order to help the paralyzed people to move freely,this paper presents a wireless remote controlled wheelchair system which based on brain-computer interface experiment platform called BCI2000.People with severe paralysis may soon be able to drive a wheelchair simply by imagrying. The control system is mainly composed of EEG acquisition device, a laptop and a single chip microcomputer controller. The perceptron algorithm is used to classify EEG signals after time-frequency analysis. Extraction and recognition of brain EEG data features of imaging left-right hands movement are used to control the wheelchair system.These research results may provide important message for the more precise security wheelchair control design.

Simulation research on intelligent vehicle visual navigation lateral fuzzy control strategy

Abstract:According to the intelligent vehicle visual navigation lateral control of the adaptability of the existing problems, a lateral fuzzy control strategy based on yaw rate is proposed. According to the position of the vehicle in the lane state information, a yaw-rate prediction model, 7 degrees of freedom vehicle handling dynamics model and lateral fuzzy control model are established. Simulation result shows that compared with conventional position deviation control strategy, the lateral fuzzy control strategy can not only effectively control intelligent vehicle to run, but also have good robustness and adaptability.

Design of nonlinear-fuzzy constant power controller for wind turbine

Abstract:Nonlinear fuzzy constant power controller for wind power system is addressed when the wind speed is higher than the rated. A second-order mathematical model of the wind turbine is obtained from the physical analysis. Then it is linearized with exact feedback linearization theory on differential geometry. Fuzzy control rules is writed for the new linear system,then the constant power controller is obtained. Wind turbine model with nonlinear fuzzy control is created in MATLAB/Simulink. Fan speed and output power can be constant through simulation on step wind and randow wind,which verifies that the controller can precisely control the whole wind section and show good performance.
