Development of new 1 200 V/10 A SPM smart power module for industrial fan motor applications

Abstract:This paper discusses the new 1 200V/10 A SPM?誖 smart power module. It is fully optimized intelligent integrated IGBT inverter module that offers good thermal performance and reliable characteristics for industrial fan motor applications. It utilizes newly developed NPT trench IGBT with the advanced STEALTHTM freewheeling diode, and built-in bootstrap diode. HVICs, multi-function LVIC, and built-in thermistor provide good reliable characteristics for the entire system. This module also takes technical advantage of DBC substrate for the better thermal performance.

Design of fractional order PI controller for SRM

Abstract:In switch reluctance motor(SRM) speed control system(SRD), the fraction order proportional integral(PI) speed closed-loop control system was designed based on conventional PI control. Fractional integral was used in speed loop and current loop. Fractional order calculus has the characteristics of extended stability region of system parameter and good time domain and frequency domain which was introduced into nonlinear SRD. By using bilinear transformation in direct discrete method, continuous fractional order integral is discretized, the result of which was approximately extended using continued fraction to obtain the digital fractional order integral operation. Simulation model of three-phase 6/4 poles SRM speed control system was established in MATLAB/Simulink. The result of simulation research proved the effectiveness of this method.

An embedded microprocessor based on ARMv4 instruction

Abstract:According to the ARMv4 embedded microprocessor instruction set using von Neumann structure shared data bus and instruction bus will reduce data throughput,a new architecture microprocessor is proposed. Firstly, the use of Harvard architecture with separate data bus and instruction bus makes data bandwidth doubled. Secondly, with the use of single-cycle 32-bit multiplier, the calculation speed is twice faster. Addition, with the use of resource sharing, a multiplier adder is used to implement 6 different multiplications and multiply add instructions, and a logical left shift register completes a logical shift left, logical shift right, arithmetic shift right and rotate right function. Physical verification of the works is on Altera EP4C30 FPGA chip. The experimental results show that the above improved methods increase the microprocessor performance.

The design and implement of C/S mode network hard disk based on FPGA

Abstract:Aiming at the problems of most existing B/S (browser/Server) mode network hard disks, such as security problem, the limitation of file format and file size, this paper proposes and implements a kind of C/S(Client/Server) mode network hard disk based on FPGA. It designs and improves the NFS server and FAT32 file system in the user layer and inner nuclear layer, then designs hard disk controller IP core and required drivers in the hardware layer. Finally, through the transplantation of Petalinux operating system to the Microblaze, using co-design of hardware and software,the system is verified on XUPV5_LX110T board. Verification results show that this network hard disk can realize remote file access and other basic operations online, and has no limitation of file format and a single file size.

The cloud-wavelet fault diagnosis of modular large scale integrated circuit

Abstract: With the structure function of integrated circuit is modularized, unit diagnosis is unnecessary, and the module has error tolerance character. The paper presents a large-scale integrated circuit fault diagnosis method with cloud model nested wavelet neural network. The modularized integrated circuit state information is collected after network decomposition, the forward cloud model is used to normalized preprocess the acquisition volume as the data input, the output data set after training get inversed cloud process and the obtained diagnosis results can be clearly identified. The examples prove that the method raised in the paper improves the accuracy of fault diagnosis of integrated circuit.

Design of Bluetooth 4.0 low-energy electronic sphygmomanometer based on inflation measurement

Abstract:A Bluetooth 4.0 low-energy electronic sphygmomanometer based on inflation measurement is developed aimming at the traditional electronic sphygmomanometer problems of the long discharge measurement and inconvenient data management. The electronic sphygmomanometer uses CC2540 chip to implement the Pulse Width Modulation(PWM) control of pump and valve, combines with capacitive pressure sensor that can get cuff pressure in pressing process, obtains the blood pressure values which is algorithm analyzed after ADC sampling which are storaged in a custom agreement format, transfered wireless to the mobile terminal that has a function of Bluetooth 4.0. Simulation and test results indicate that the design is feasible and effective.

Design of ECU for construction machinery based on XC2287M

Abstract: ECU is a core component of the control system for construction machinery, and the current domestic market of ECU is almost monopolized by foreign manufacturers. This paper introduces the design of an intelligent ECU based on XC2287M microcontroller, using CODESYS Soft-PLC which supports five IEC 61131-3 defined PLC languages as the programming platform. The designed ECU has highly multiplexed input and out modules and rich I/O resources, providing sufficient safety protection mechanisms. It can be widely used in a variety of control systems, breaking the monopoly of foreign manufacturers on ECU market.

Application and analysis of analog multiplexers in data acquisition system

Abstract:For the problem of switching signal inspection in multi-channel data acquisition system, this paper designed a data acquisition system example based on ADI company′s ADG506A as multiplexer from the point of view of application. It mainly elaborated and analyzed the part of using analog multiplexers ADG506A to switch channels based on single-chip ATmega128 control,introduced how to use the analog multiplexers and gave the interface circuit with single-chip. Then analyzed and solved the problem and fault in the design, ultimately made the system have the ability of 16-channels data acquisition and meet 1% accuracy. The system achieved good effects in the practical application. Finally, it gave the further approach for expansion.

A method of analog placement based on DC channel clustering

Abstract:This paper studies the methods of analog placement,and gives a method with the combination of DC channel clustering signal flow sequence constraints and current flow constraints. It uses the free space search algorithm to get the initial placement and the simulation annealing algorithm to reach the optimized placement,and we test it with several practical industry circuits. The results show that our method can generate compact placements fitting the symmetry and proximity constraints as well as the minimized parasitic effects on DC paths and signal paths.

A quantization strategy for RF digital power amplifier

Abstract:In order to improve the efficiency of RF digital power amplifier, it is necessary to limit the amplifier′s switch loss by reducing the average transition frequency of delta-sigma modulator(DSM) output. By using the hysteresis, a quantization strategy with alterable thresholds for DSM is proposed and analyzed in this paper. Simulation results show that the DSM output′s average transition frequency(ATF) can be reduce effectively with little SNR decline by using the proposed quantization strategy.

A high-Q high-order ΣΔ accelerometer interface circuit

Abstract:Because of lower mechanical thermal noise, the high-Q accelerometer is widely applied in the fields of high-precision low-noise signal detection. The performance of the low-order high-Q accelerometer interface circuit is limited by the quantization noise at a relatively low oversampling rate(OSR). To solve this problem, a high-order high-Q closed-loop sigma-delta(Σ-Δ) accelerometer interface circuit is proposed, which greatly decreases the quantization noise in baseband of the digital interface circuit. In order to guarantee the stability of the high-order system, a lead compensator circuit is designed to improve the electrical damping. The test results show that the high-order system with high-Q sensor element is stable, and the suppression ability to quantization noise is greatly improved compared with a second-order accelerometer.

The design and implementation of data loading for video array processor

Abstract:With a variety of video codec standards and video algorithms proposed, the efficiency and flexibility of video processor become more important. To solve the mismatch of data loading rate and array processing unit, analyzing the video codec standard algorithm, deep mining characteristics of data memory access redundancy and transmission, this paper designs a data loading circuit supporting pump and Cache operating modes in the programmable reconfigurable architecture, and also completes the functional simulation and FPGA verification to the circuit. The result show that this design can meet the data loading requirements of 1 080P video processing for data loading, and its integrated frequency up to 197 MHz, using Desgin Compiler in SMIC 0.13 ?滋m CMOS process standard cell library.

Abstract:A digital fast automatic gain control(AGC) circuit is designed for multi-mode GNSS receiver,the AGC circuit uses three-stage gain control algorithm to achieve fast and stable gain control. For two and more bit ADC, it is well transplantable. Gain convergence rate and stability are analyzed along with SNR performance due to continuous wave interference and ADC bits variation. Simulation results show its good performance.

Abstract:The temperature has a great impact on crystal oscillator. A compensation arithmetic is presented in this paper, dedicated in limiting the cumulated frequency deviation in 15.3 ppm. A RTC compensation circuit and also an automatic trimming circuit used in MCU have been implemented, which can perfectly satisfy the smart electronic meter’s requirement.

A low power and high precision reference source applied in safety chip

Abstract:Using the exponential I-V characteristic of the subthreshold CMOS to realize the audion VBE′s negative temperature coefficient compensation,this paper presents a reference source structure for safety chip application, employing the subthreshold CMOS to construct buffer OPA , achieving six stages positive temperature compensation, outputting 1 V reference voltage. This reference source circuit is implemented by SMIC 180 nm and passes the Spectre simulation verification,whose output reference voltage varies less than 1 mV accompanying with temperature variation in the whole temperature range -40 ℃~125 ℃. This reference source′s power is 4.5 ?滋A, which provides strong practicability and guidance meaning to low power and high precision reference source research.

The output regulator control of wireless power transmission based on the fuzzy logic

Abstract:In order to obtain a constant output voltage in the process of the wireless power transmission system, the paper presents a fuzzy logic constant control methods based on capacitive array. Through mathematical analysis and theoretical derivation to establish the relationships of the equivalent capacitance and the value of the output voltage,it takes the output voltage as the control object to achieve constant output voltage by controlling the equivalent capacitance of the capacitor array. The paper builds the fuzzy control simulation model in MATLAB/Simulink based on the control method, the simulation results prove the validity of the control method.

Parameter optimization for wireless power transmission system

Abstract:In the wireless power transmission system,there are restrictions and interactions among the coils, mutual inductance, compensation capacitors and the resonant frequency. The design of the system is a multi-parameter, multi-variable optimization problem. Previous parameter optimization is generally a single-parameter optimization and the optimization result only to the mutual inductance, is not optimized to the specific number of turns,system design requires a larger correction. Based on the relationship between the number of turns and the self-inductance and mutual inductance, PS topology as the optimization object, the non-linear mathematical programming model has been given. Using genetic optimization algorithm, the optimal design parameters of the system has been given too. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis and design methods has been verified by the experiment.

Abstract:To prognosticate State-of-Health(SOH) is a key factor for correct and safe battery management.An easy electric model of the cell(lumped parameter model) is identified and verified, and Particle Filter theory is applied to prognosticate SOH. The simulation results on End-of-Discharge(EOD) show that, the algorithm is able to prognosticate SOH accurately.

Reliability analysis for counter delay circuit system under multiple type-II censoring

Abstract:The reliability of the counter delay circuit system is analyzed under multiple type-II censoring. The components of the system follow one-parameter exponential distribution. Using Bayesian estimation method as well as moment estimation, obtain the Bayesian estimations for the reliability indexes, the failure rate of the components, the reliability and mean life of the system. And it can be seen from the numerical simulations that the precision of the Bayesian estimations for the reliability indexes obtained is better than the corresponding maximum likelihood estimations(MLE),the performance of estimation of both methods gets worse with the increase of missed data,and the number of missed data has less impact on the Bayesian estimations than MLE.

Design of an oscillator with supply voltage and temperature compensation

Abstract:A Low-power ring oscillator with supply voltage and temperature compensation is presented in this paper. The ring oscillator composes of two types of inverters. The one is the CMOS inverter with limited current, and the other is the normal CMOS inverter. Due to the opposite effects on the output frequency of two types from the supply voltage and temperature, the stable output frequency can be achieved. The oscillator has been implemented in 0.18 ?滋m CMOS Process. The test results show that the oscillator only consumes 2.5 ?滋A with the output frequency of 263 kHz at a 5 V power supply and the temperature of 27 ℃. And the output frequency error is within -2.3%~6.5% when the supply voltage varies from 3.5 V to 5.5 V, as well as the temperature changes from -40 ℃ to 85 ℃.

Research and implementation of synchronous clock measurement system base on FPGA

Abstract:To accurate measuring the clock synchronization signal time difference in coal mine water detecting radar transmitter and receiver, the paper designs and implements a high precision synchronous clock signal time difference measurement system which is based on FPGA. The system uses a new way of employing the D flip-flop and delay unit-lcell in FPGA to measure the synchronous clock signal time difference. The highest resolution is 200 ps. Test and the experimental results show that the system can accurately measure the synchronous clock signal time difference. The time difference are stored and displayed on the LCD, it plays a big role in time difference correction. The system has applied to measurement synchronous clock signal in coal mine water detecting radar.

Research of low energy consumption image sensor node based on compressed sensing

Abstract:It is necessary to improve energy efficiency of WMSN node to maximize prolong the life cycle of the networks, since WMSN′ energy is limited and media information processing needs large energy consumption. This paper focuses on how to reduce the node data processing and transmission energy consumption with the image coding research. It compares the energy consumption of JPEG coding scheme and the DCT-CS scheme through simulation to analyze the data processing and transmission energy consumption of these two schemes. The results show that the DCT-CS scheme can effectively reduce the energy consumption of the image sensor node. At last, it realizes the DVC theory-based encoding scheme on the image sensor node based on STM32F103 and CC2530 hardware platform to reduce energy consumption.

Research on humanoid robot control algorithm based on single inverted pendulum

Abstract:Aimed at the instability problem of the humanoid robot walking gait, combining with inverted pendulum, the mathematical model of humanoid robot walking gait was built. Double closed loop control system was established by humanoid robot attitude angle and displacement that were adjusted by PID algorithm. With 19 DOF humanoid robot, experiment validation was finished. The results showed the correctness and high accuracy of humanoid robot PID control algorithm,the system response is stable,the system overshoot is less than 0.3%,the system regulating time is less than 0.2 s,joint output maximum relative error is 2.25%. The humanoid robot stable walking gait can be achieved.

Design and realization of control system for high precision digital stabilized platform

Abstract:In view of the requirements of tracking target smoothly and isolating disturbances quickly for a high precision digital stabilized platform, a digital stabilized platform system based on floating-point DSP controller TMS320F28335 is designed. Using high-precision measuring components improve measurement accuracy of the system,a current loop is combined to improve the accuracy,dynamic characteristics and the ability of isolating disturbances. It can ensure the accuracy of the gyro sampling by designing adjusting zero and adjusting drift compensation circuits, hardware filtering circuits and digital filtering algorithms. The testing results show that the stabilized platform system can track the target accurately and stably,and isolate the carrier disturbances effectively.

Design of a multifunctional virtual spectrum analyzer based on LabVIEW

Abstract:In view of the traditional spectrum analysis instrument is expensive, high maintenance cost, complex operation and so on, according to the theory of virtual instrument design, this paper introduces a design process of a kind of multifunctional virtual spectrum analyzer based on USB2.0. The design adopts the ADI company AD9288BST-40 chip to realize the function of signal collection. The FPGA chips of main control card will transmit the signal collected to the upper machine, and then realize the function of the multi-function frequency spectrum analyzer in the upper machine. Finally, functional test results verify the feasibility and accuracy of this design.

Design of the air quality online monitoring system based on open source hardware

Abstract:In this paper, the system uses Arduino as the main control board. It gets air quality data form particle sensor, volatile organic compound gas sensors, temperature and humidity sensors. The system realizes the online monitoring of air quality by uploading data to the Internet of Things platform. The system has the advantages of high coat, good stability and high accuracy. The sensor system also can be easily extended.

Performance for efficient error correction coding in wireless optical communication

Abstract:Free space optical(FSO) communication based on the log-normal model under the weak turbulence channel was introduced. Combining the characteristics of atmospheric channel, the bit error rate(BER) calculating formula of uncoded and RS coded system were derived based on on-off keying(OOK), pulse position modulation(PPM), differential pulse position modulation(DPPM) and digital pulse interval modulation (DPIM). Then as a benchmark, under the case of independent with identical distribution, the average bit error rates of RS coded system were derived respectively. Simulation results show that, RS coded is efficient to get the code gain and to improve jamming-rejection capability of system, and it is well suited for optical wireless communication system.

Abstract:Because of the lack of port to port transport function in RapidIO system, this paper designs a communication library based on message mechanism, which provides user with virtual channel to transfer data. With the means of centralize control by host node, applications can be easily moved or rebuild. Testing results indicate that the communication library has characteristics of low latency and high bandwidth.

AODV-based on improved routing for vehicular Ad hoc networks

Abstract:Vehicular ad hoc network(VANETs) is a new communication paradigm that enables the vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to infrastructure. There is a challenge for transmit data due to inherent characteristics such as unpredictable node density, fast movement of vehicles, constrained mobility. In this paper, the improved Ad Hoc On demand Distance Vector(IAODV) is proposed. The performance of AODV is not good in term of end to end delay and dropped packets in city scenarios. Therefore, in IAODV, it uses the mechanism that limited source routing up to two hop in order to decrease the end to end delay. Moreover, it utilizes other mechanism that backup route between source node and destination node in order to decrease packet loss ratio. Compared with AODV, results show that the performance of SIAODV is improves significantly in term of packet loss ratio and end-to-end delay.

Design and analysis of the transform domain LPI signal

Abstract:Low probability of intercept(LPI) of the signal refers to that the signal sent is not intercepted or the probability of intercept is low. The analysis of LPI performance of the signal is discussed in view of the interceptor at present. The paper puts forward a detailed analysis of LPI performance of the signal in the view of the signal character for the first time. It is also the first time that the LPI signal designed based on wavelet transform is introduced and simulated in-country. And then the same way is used to the LPI signal designed based on traditional method and FFT. After simulation,the paper compares the signals with the signal based on the traditional method. It also provided a detailed analysis of LPI performance of the signal in the view of the signal character, using high-order cumulants and cyclostationary. The result indicates that LPI performance of the signal designed based on the transform excels that designed based on the traditional method. Finally, the development trends of the technique of LPI signal design are discussed.

Dynamic configuration of almost blank subframe in LTE-advance heterogeneous networks

Abstract:Enhanced interference coordination techniques(eICIC) can improve the performance of load balancing and co-channel interference of LTE-A heterogeneous network. eICIC proposed almost blank subframe to reduce the Pico-edge user interference. This paper discussed dynamic ABSF setting from fairness perspective. And two ABSF allocation algorithms were proposed. Compared to the static ABSF configuration, the proposed ABSF setting methods enhance the fairness and edge user throughput effectively. The simulation also compared the two ABSF configuration. The results show that Max Fairness ABSF can effectively alleviate the decreasing trend of Pico-edge user′s throughput along with the increase of extended area.

Research on unit test methods of centralized control for embedded real-time software

Abstract:According to the characteristics and constitution of control console embedded real-time system software, a kind of simulating unit test platform about this system is built,and then the process of conducting unit test with testbed is detailed.Based on the value of quality output model of static analysis,we quantitatively evaluate the internal quality of the source code. Meanwhile, priority-based dynamic analysis testing strategy is properly proposed on the foundation of cyclomatic complexity.Monitored control flow information is used to analyze the coverage of programs, which is able to ensure adequacy and validity of unit test, and can improve test efficiency as well as software quality.

A non-stationary clutter suppression method based on dynamic region partition in CFI

Abstract:To inhibit the clutter influence on the estimation of the blood flow velocity in ultrasound color flow image(CFI),a non-stationary clutter suppression method based on dynamic region partition was proposed. First,according to the energy intensity characteristic of the echo signal, a dynamic region partition method was proposed, which was used to divided the echo signal into three parts which were the static tissue area, the clutter area and the blood flow area; then, according to the time-domain characteristics, this method combined the non-stationary clutter rejection method and the polynomial regression method to suppress the non-stationary clutter. Simulation results show that the clutter-to-blood ratio after using this method is about 6.120 dB, demonstrating that this method can better reject the non-stationary clutter signal, the estimated blood flow velocity profile maintains the integrity and the achieved blood flow velocity map illustrates higher image quality. In addition, the running time of the algorithm is about 0.341 4 s, the execution speed is three times as much as the non-stationary clutter suppression method′s, the real-time characteristic is provided.

Abstract:This paper introduces the importance of safe operation of the transmission line, analyses the limitations of current transmission line configuration maintenance equipment. According to the standardized maintenance function maintenance / replacement of line tower and strain tower insulator string in complex environment temperature, wind velocity and ice condition,and hardware equipment instruments standard configuration method are given. Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development environment C# and SQL Server 2008 database,tool intelligent configuration system of transmission line is designed. The system mainly composes of the user management, system configuration management, equipment life cycle management and system setup and maintenance. The system will weaken the dependence of maintenance equipment configuration of the responsible person, realize standardization, modularization and intelligent operation of the tool configuration, and improve the level of quality and scientific management technology inspection.

A city express delivery model based on improved genetic algorithm

Abstract:To solve the problem of high costs for city express delivery, a model of city express delivery using the shortest distance of distribution as objective function was constructed. Based on this model, an improved genetic algorithm was designed. When dealing with city express delivery problem, our model combined genetic algorithms(GA) with the simulated annealing mechanism in order to prevent the scheduling model results from turning into a local optimum. Meanwhile to improve the performance of optimization algorithm, our approach improved the traditional PMX based on the features of model and combined the 2-OPT(2-optimization)with reverse phase variation. The simulation experiments using international standard test data sets to verify the performance of improved genetic algorithm were done. The experimental results from the performance analysis show the effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm through visualization.

Rocket safety control system based intelligent decision

Abstract:Various unpredictable faults often occur when the rocket is on mission. It is very important that the safety control decision is made in time and effectively according to judging and analyzing the fly parameters. Based on the current rocket safety control decision system and in view of the characteristics for rocket aviation and the rule knowledge uncertainty, a rocket safety control system based intelligent decision is proposed. At first the computer decision support system model based trajectory data processing and the safety control decision is given. Then, the uncertain knowledge representation is established according to the characteristics of the system, and the corresponding decision network is formed. At last taking visual C++ 6.0 as the development platform, the safety reasoning decision model is constructed and the corresponding reasoning process is given. Simulation experiments show that the method can real-timely monitor and effectively control the rocket aviating status, which provides the final decision for the safety control experts.

Peak-frequency maximum-correlation minimum-residual tuning algorithm

Abstract:The basic issue of tuning stringed instrument is to determine the fundamental frequency of the sound. A novel method of stringed instruments tuning in time-frequency domain, named PFMCMR (Peak-Frequency Maximum-Correlation Minimum-Residual) is presented. Firstly, spectrum zoom algorithm is used to calculate the peak frequency. Secondly, in time domain, local maximum correlation and local minimum residual are combined to determine the harmonic number of peak frequency. Finally, the fundamental frequency is calculated based on peak frequency and corresponding harmonic number. The algorithm accuracy is up to 0.1 Hz or higher. The experimental result show that PFMCMR method is high accuracy and good stability.

Abstract:Helicopter Integrated Core Processor(HICP) is a typical distributed computer system, which is also the core processing center for helicopter′s avionics mission system. HICP is equipped with integrated processing capability of data, signals, graphics and videos. This paper introduces the development status of helicopter avionics system and analyzes the architecture of helicopter integrated processing system. It focuses on the key technology of HICP, and an implementation for HICP is presented.
