The review of IGBT module switching loss calculation method

Abstract:Switching loss calculation methods of IGBT module are divided into two types:one is based on the physics,the other is based on mathematics. In this paper,switching loss calculation method based on the physics establish the corresponding physical model by the simulation software to obtain the switch dynamic waveform and calculate the loss. Switching loss calculation method based on the mathematics use all kinds of methods of mathematical modeling for calculation of loss. Various switching loss calculation method and its corresponding advantages and disadvantages are discussed.

A DVB-S coding and modulation systems functional verification platform based on UVM and Matlab

Abstract:In this contribution, we present a function verification platform for DVB-S coding and modulation system. The main structure of the platform is based on the Universal Verification Methodology(UVM), and the Matlab code is used in the complex signal processing reference model. Along with the structure and modules, we describe the method for connecting the UVM platform and the Matlab via Direct Programming Interface(DPI) particularly. The simulation proves that our approach save near 50% simulation time comparing with the pure Verilog platform. In addition, this approach avoids designing complex signal processing reference model with Verilog and improves the designing efficiency for complex signal processing verification platform.

Design of a thread scheduler in a simultaneous multi-threaded muti-core processor

Abstract:SMT-PAAG is a simultaneous multithreaded multi-core processor for graphics,image and digital signal processing. The design of hardware thread scheduler for this processor is presented here. The scheduler uses simultaneous multi-threading technology(SMT) that can simultaneously execute up to four threads, and supports fast context switching with eight threads in blocking mode. This avoids the waiting caused by obstruction, at the same time, the design improves efficiency and resource utilization of the processor effectively. We conducted performance evaluation by running on the processor with graphics processing algorithms. The result shows that the performance of SMT-PAAG processor is increased by 69.25% by exploring instruction level parallelism(ILP) and tread level parallelism(TLP).

Non-clipping control system for Class K audio power amplifier

Abstract:Non-clipping control system for Class K audio power amplifier application is presented. The system can automatically detect the distortion of output signal and adjust gain of the Class K audio power amplifier accordingly in order to avoid clipping in a large input dynamic range. Ensure the Class K audio amplifier can keep low THD+N and fix output power within the whole power supply range. A Class K audio amplifier that integrated with the non-clipping control system was implemented in 0.5 ?滋m CMOS process. The measurement result shows that at 3.3~4.2 V power supply, 24 dB gain setting and 4 Ω speaker loading the amplifier can keep(THD+N)<0.5% with the fix output power of 2.0 W within the input signal range of 0~1.2 Vrms.

Nonlinear analysis and testing of the RF power amplifier

Abstract:In this paper, it is focus on the analysis of IMD3 in nonlinear distortion by studying the theoretical reasons of the nonlinear distortion of the RF power amplifier. According to the power transistor AFT27S006N, we have designed a power amplifier which applied in the TD-LTE base station. After being tested, it meets the design standards: the peak power is 7 W, the PAE is 53%, and while the Pout back-off to 1 W, the IMD3 reaches to -43 dBc, consistent with design indicators.

Study on phase noise of charge-pump phase-locked loops

Abstract:Conventional methods of calculating the phase noise usually can′t correspond well with the actual practical circuit without taking into account of thermal noise, flicker noise, shot noise, substrate noise, etc. In order to address the problem, a simple unified method was proposed to calculate the phase noise caused by the affecting factors respectively and then obtain the final total phase noise of an actual practical PLL circuit. The method adopted a special superposition theory to unify all the phase noise transfer functions of the affecting factors in a practical PLL circuit. The unification of the transfer functions enables the total phase noise to be obtained by simple calculation. To verify the effectiveness of the derived formula, an output clock of 48 MHz charge-pump PLL is implemented using a standard 0.25 μm CMOS technology. The simulation results show that the in-band phase noise of -88.6 dBc/Hz and the out-of-band phase noise of -108.4 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset are achieved. These circuit simulation results were correlated very well with the theoretical calculation results with an absolute error of less than 2.54 dBc/Hz.

A multicore software development method based on MCAPI

Abstract:This paper presents a multicore software development method based on multicore communications application program interface(MCAPI)standard. This standard which provides APIs based on message is used for inter processor communication(IPC). It improves the portability of application programs on multicore processors. A software tool named poly-platform is used for multicore software development. At first,the topology is set up. Then a node project is defined and memories are allocated. The template of MCAPI is used for generating codes for communications among nodes.Finally,application programs of every nodes should be finished.This procedure of software development is independent of companies,devices and operating systems.It could map the application programs to different homogeneous and heterogeneous multicore architectures quickly and flexibly,improve the efficiency greatly.

The design of water treatment system of high-intensity focused ultrasound

Abstract:The transmission efficiency of ultrasound energy is highly concerned with the purity and air dissolution of the medium water in high intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU) therapy. A water treatment system based on a series of cascade filters and parallel RO membrane is introduced to purify and degas the water for HIFU in this paper. The system ensures the water preparation efficiency and quality without increasing the volume of equipment. Besides, PIC18f46k22 microcomputer and peripheral circuit is adopted to realize the accurate control of water preparation procedure and flow control by cooperating with a flowmeter. The control system is connected to a touch screen with serial port interface to provide human-computer interaction. Remote manipulation from PC is also implemented based on Qt. Water output from the system is testified to meet the requirements of HIFU water standards. In conclusion, the system provides reliable purified and degassed water of HIFU, which has a promising potential in focused ultrasound applications.

Research and design of SAR imaging based on multi-core DSP interconnection architecture

Abstract:This paper proposes a SAR imaging solutions based on multi-core DSP interconnect architecture. First, a Polar Format Algorithm(PFA) based on sub-aperture azimuth interpolation is introduced. Then, research the processing performance of TI’s multi-core DSP TMS320C6678, introduces an interconnect architecture based on RapidIO and then proposes a SAR imaging solution. Finally, a SAR image is given. Comparison with traditional solution proves that the solution is effective and advanced.

The design and application of CAN-based code updation with data lossless

Abstract:In order to improve the stability and reliability of the vehicle device while firmware upgrading in a complex working environment, a data lossless code updating scheme through CAN bus communication is proposed, based on in-depth analysis and research of the bootloader mechanisms and took automotive brushless DC motor controller as the carrier. This scheme sends the user application, which is parsed by the host machine and stored in the queue list, to the controller through CAN bus using BLC lossless data communication protocol. The controller combines a data lossless code backup with Flash encryption mechanisms to realize code updating and bug rollback. Experimental results show that this scheme has a high fault-tolerant capability, could achieve code updation without data loss at below 20 Hz. Thus, this scheme may provides a new idea for other products’ firmware updation in complex working environment.

Abstract:According to the principle of switch control circuit in the 6502 electric interlocking system, a portable DC point machine tester of 4/6 wires-type based on Atmega16 processor and current sensors is designed. The system compose of switch analog driving circuit, signal acquisition circuit and intelligent analysis display circuit. The driving circuit completes the operation of point machine by SCM, which controls circuit apparatus through optical coupling switch; in the system of signal acquisition circuit, the analog signal collected by current sensor is converted to the digital one via A/D converter, which is transmitted to display module of upper computer, so that the circuit can measure and analyze the working conditions of point machine timely, as well as draw the current curves of switch action on the screen. The experimental results show that the tester can completely gather the working information of point machine, which with a stable performance can enable electrical workers to check whether the installation of wiring is correct and diagnose whether the switch fails.

Abstract:For road lighting, surface brightness uniformity is the guarantee to provide a safe and comfortable viewing conditions for motor vehicle drivers. In view of the road surface brightness distribution testing requirements, from the principle of photometry, puts forward a brightness distribution measurement system based on CMOS image sensor. By CMOS image sensor OV7670 to capture images, and as with STM32 microcontroller for image processing and calculating surface brightness and brightness distribution. In the discussion of the principle by measuring the brightness with CMOS image sensor, for all the parts of the image acquisition and processing circuit and system software has carried on the detailed analysis and explanation. Through the parameter calibration, completes to detect road surface brightness distribution, and the design meets requirements of the system.

Design of multi-channel data acquisition system based on STM32

Abstract:Aiming at low power consumption and real-time requirements for data acquisition system in the geological disasters monitoring, a multi-channel data acquisition system is designed based on STM32F102 and ADS1256, which can realize real-time online data collection for mud water level, sound, infrasound, displacement and other parameters in the geological disasters site. The system is characterized by small volume, low power consumption and real-time. The system can achieve 24-hour real-time storage hazards in acquisition time, sampling data, ambient temperature and sensor type and other related information. In further, system use GPRS and Beidou satellite to complete wireless remote data transmission, which can facilitate a long uninterrupted data collection, transmission and analysis for geological hazards, at the same time can effectively improve the level of real-time monitoring on geological disasters.

Abstract:In order to enhance the accuracy, real-time and robustness of the smart car, we use “Image acquisition-Image processing” method while manipulate images by tracking edge detection algorithm, and we combine the fuzzy control algorithm and PID algorithm. The experimental results show that the speed is increased by 33.3% and the accuracy is increased by 35.7%. In this study, the intelligent car system can be widely used in modern automotive driver assistance systems, and improve security in intelligent traffic.

Design of a portable AEP detecting system based on USB soundcard

Abstract:The auditory evoked potential(AEP) provides an objective assessment to the integrity of acoustic nervous system, which an important approach to the research of hearing functions and acoustic diseases. In this paper, we introduced a new design of portable AEP detecting system based on personal computer(PC) with a USB soundcard specifically selected for the AEP recording requirement. APC program developed by Visual C# platform were used as the main controller of the system to regulate USB soundcard for stimulus delivery and AEP data acquisition synchronously. An example of the weakest and fastest AEP component —brain-stem response(ABR)— was acquired by this system, and compared with a state-of-art system to valid their equivalent performance.

Development of redundant communication process control system based on Modbus and ZigBee

Abstract:To solve problems of the traditional industrial field process control system such as too much amount of wiring, high cost, difficult maintenance, this paper proposes a redundancy monitoring system based on Modbus, ZigBee and STM32. This system has two means of communication: Modbus bus communication and ZigBee wireless communication for redundant communication, which improves the reliability of the system. It can intentionally transmit data collected by instruments in the industrial field to PC. Meanwhile, the system has a certain degree of measures of isolation, interference and lightning protection for applying in the industrial field.

Design of granary environmental monitoring system based on ZigBee

Abstract:Aiming at the current granary mostly adopts artificial or wired monitoring methods to monitor the environment of temperature, humidity, mildew and fire, designed a granary environmental monitoring system based on ZigBee. The system has made use of the CC2530 RF modules to form the tree wireless sensor network, which passes the temperature and humidity values, the odor concentration, fire alarm and other environmental parameters of each sensor node through the router or directly to the coordinator, and then through the serial port to upload the PC by the coordinator, and uses the PC monitoring software which produced with VS2013 to real-time display, record, fire alarm and reverse control the corresponding sensor nodes in order to ventilate or dehumidify. The test shows that, this system has the advantages of low cost, flexible networking, high measuring precision and strong practicability etc.

An improved unvoiced speech segregation based on CASA and spectral subtraction

Abstract:The existing monaural speech separation based on computational auditory scene analysis(CASA) was largely focused on voiced segregation, little attention has been paid on unvoiced speech segregation. The traditional unvoiced separation algorithm via CASA and spectral subtraction was improved to solve this problem in this paper. In the improved approach, the rough T-F intervals were measured by estimating onset/offset. Then the noise energy of each T-F unit in the corresponding T-F intervals was estimated respectively based on the principle that the energy of two neighboring T-F units has continuity, which made the noise energy estimation more accurate. The experimental results show that the improved approach has smaller computation and better performance of unvoiced speech segregation.

The structure optimization and implementation of channelized receiver

Abstract:In order to reduce the hardware resource utilization of channelized receiver,the structure of channelized receiver based on LPF bank is discussed in this paper. Based on the previous study that HB filter and FIR filter are designed in channel multiplexing,NCO and CIC filter is designed in the same way in the optimized structure .The two scheme before and after optimization are implemented on FPGA respectively,and hardware resource cost are compared to verified the efficiency of this method. The result of channelized processing is analyzed using Matlab with the input of sine wave signal,which proves the validity of the method.

Adaptive modulation algorithm of approximate uniform dynamic subband division for OFDM system

Abstract:In order to improve the performance of OFDM communication system, we propose an adaptive modulation algorithm based on approximate uniform dynamic grouping. This proposed algorithm divides the subcarriers according to the subcarrier gain, noise intensity and data rate. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has approximately the same performance as existing algorithms such as Fischer with much less complexity.

Abstract:To get the high satisfaction of logistics service, an approach of logistics service selection is presented which with local optimal choice, in a dynamic environment of Internet of Things. It uses the way of traditional web service composition to solve the issues of intelligent logistics services. Firstly modeling and calculating the logistics QoS(Quality of Service) attributes, then selecting the atomic programs of each logistics sub-processes with the best utility values and composing them. Finally, the experiments verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the models and algorithm proposed in it.

Abstract:In order to enhance the resolution of wideband source localization when the number of source is known, a new wideband source localization method is proposed. First, aimed at the feature of wideband sources which were non-stationary, the wideband signal can transform into frequency domain by short-time Fourier transform (SFT). Then realize precise DOA estimation by using group delay function. Final, source localization realize by centroid contract and cross power spectrum method in the form of contract region. In this paper, the proposed method are analysis in simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed method has high DOA estimation precision and error is low. The resolution on source location is high too. The proposed method has small calculation and more practical.

RF fingerprint extraction based on diagonal sliced Wigner bispectrum

Abstract:A RF fingerprint extraction algorithm for spoofing detection of global navigation satellite systems(GNSS) based on diagonal sliced Wigner bispectrum(DS-WB) is put forward in this paper. Allowing for the cross term interference and high computational complexity, a 4-dimensional feature vector, including distribution entropy, singular value entropy, the mean of spectrum and the sum of logarithms based on DS-WB with a Choi-Williams kernel, and the support vector machine(SVM) are used to realize the identification of spoofing signals. The dimension of characteristics vector of this algorithm is low, and it has good performance in low SNR. Both the software simulation and hardware experiment verify the effectiveness and superiority of the algorithm. The recognition rate of both software simulation and hardware experiment can reach to 90% at the SNR of 5dB and -4dB, respectively. Compared to the same features extracted from bispectrum, the features based on the DS-WB have better recognition performance and stronger robustness.

A selection mechanism of un-slotted channel based on multi-armed bandit

Abstract:A new channel selection mechanism was proposed for the problem that how to select and distribute the channels under the unknown environment. Use the restless multi-armed bandit model to build the network system. Then, learning the usage of the channels preliminary by the expectation-maximization algorithm under the unknown environment, and later, achieve the Gittins index of restless multi-armed bandit by using the Q learning. In the meantime, then, obtained the optimal policy of channels selection under the certain interference constraints. Last, this paper used the multi-bid auction to deal with the collision among the users. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate that, the new mechanism can be good to avoid the interference to the primary user, to make the usage of channels efficiently and to improve the traffic of the system greatly.

The algorithm includes torpedo car automatic pick-up hitch algorithm, download named information algorithm and upload articulated information packet algorithm, by which the detector can calculate the bus columns of information based on the received articulated information packet attached, and then get the position and status of the torpedo car, finally achieve the torpedo car tracking, discover the fault of pick-up hitch automatically and improve turnover rate of torpedo car. In order to verify the correctness and practicability of the algorithm, the algorithm simulation was realized by C# multithread programming technique and MapInfo.

Collaborative filtering algorithm based on user trust and social similarity

Abstract:Personalized recommendation algorithm as an effective method to solve the information overload problem has become a research hotspot in social networks. Without considering some important social information of social networks and the data sparsity, the collaborative filtering algorithm which is a widely used personalized recommendation algorithm has poor recommendation effect for recommendation issues of social networks. Therefore, this paper proposes a collaborative filtering algorithm based on user trust and social similarity. Firstly, the algorithm calculates user similarity according to the user-item matrix and calculates user trust as well as social similarity through constructed user network. Next, the user similarity, user trust and social similarity will be merged to form a comprehensive value, which is used to produce neighbors. Accordingly, recommendations are produced. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has higher recommendation accuracy than other algorithms in solving the recommendation issues of social networks.

Abstract:Fault tree analysis method is a useful reliability analysis tool,and it is used in applications of practical engineering widly. Binary Decision Diagram(BDD) is a common used fault tree analysis method, the disjoint cut sets of the fault tree can be quickly obtained by its structure advantage. The reliability indexes of the system such as the failure sets of the system and the failure probability of the system are determined by analyzing the collection of cut sets. An algorithm achieve transformation from fault tree to binary decision diagram is proposed. This algorithm is applied in a CAN-bus monitoring and diagnosis platform using SQL Server as information database, fault tree information and real-time bus data as input.

Abstract:The structure of SpaceWire high speed bus is designed and realized base on RMAP protocol. The basic design of SpaceWire high speed bus is given first. Method is given for the realization of the functions of encoder and decoder. The working process and realization of RMAP SpaceWire bus is designed according to basic requirements of RMAP protocol. In the final part, the design is tested on a simulation platform. The result shows that our design realize the basic functions of RMAP SpaceWire high speed bus. The transmission speed of the data link can reach 79.84 Mb/s.

Performance of IVI-CFAR based on fuzzy fusion rules

Abstract:A new fuzzy IVI-CFAR scheme based on fuzzy logic and IVI-CFAR detector was proposed in this paper. Fuzzy IVI-CFAR established a new detection strategy based on the fuzzificastion of two statistics and selected the appropriate fuzzy detector to calculate the membership function value.Then send the value to a fusion center to make a decision which is propsed in this paper accroding to the fuzzy fusion rule. The simulated results show that the fuzzy IVI-CFAR detector have the similar detection performance compare with the classical IVI-CFAR detector in homogeneous environment. It has improved in non-homogeneous environment significantly. It is more robust in practice.

Integrated navigation system for unmanned intelligent vehicle based on vision

Abstract:In view of the unmanned intelligent vehicles in urban road environment, the global positioning system(GPS) signal to non-line-of-sight(NLOS) propagation caused by the pseudorange deviation, lead to inaccurate positioning problems, puts forward a kind of method for integrated navigation. The system through the camera to process images, finally get the corner on the building and the angle difference of conversion of building block angle, which is formed by the relative body and screening of GPS satellite information effectively. The system adopts the adaptive cubature Kalman filtering for filter estimation, in order to improve the accuracy of navigation information. Experiments show that the system can effectively recluce GPS signal deviation in urban road environment, which has high reliability and practical value.

Lithium-ion power battery active equalization control system based on double-level structure

Abstract:Due to the reason of huge number of cells and complex control strategy, this paper proposes a double-level active equalization control method, which controls the state of switch in the bottom level bi-directional Buck-Boost topology and the top level fly-back transformer topology respectively, to balance the battery pack through reasonable transfer of energy. We designed a new double-level active equalization control system based on SOC to balance the lithium-ion battery pack in the process of charging. The results illustrated that the double-level active equalization control method proposed solved the traditional single-level’s problem of equalization time caused by long equalization path, efficiency was improved significantly.

The coupled resonances wireless power transfer system based on parallel resonance receiver

Abstract:In order to solve the low efficiency of conventional inductively coupled power transfer, the coupled resonances wireless power transfer system is designed. The influence factor of efficiency and the frequency division of the highly couple coil are analysed by theoretical calculation, circuit design and simulation. The device of wireless power transfer is design, and it includes direct-current source, high frequency inverter circuit and coupled coil and rectifier circuit. The result indicates: when the receiving circuit adopts the series resonance, the efficiency is higher with a lower resistance of load. When the receiving circuit adopts the parallel resonance, the efficiency is higher with a higher resistance of load.

Research of high voltage transmission line induction power supply with low limit deadband

Abstract:In order to solve the power supply of high voltage intelligent electrical equipment,the design of high voltage transmission line induction power supply with low limit deadband was introduced.Adopt two cores in parallel and choose different core to work according to the scope of current.The principle of the induction power supply was analyzed and the relationship between various parameters was studied.With the Saber simulation,the core size and turn number of the secondary winding were determined.The power circuit was designed and the experiment was done.Results show that the induction power supply can provide sable power between three amperes to one thousand amperes and meet the requirement of high voltage electrical equipment power supply.

Online detection for terminal voltage of battery based on pulse response

Abstract:Online monitoring for state-of-charge(SOC) and a state-of-health(SOH) is one of the key to realize the effective management of automotive batteries, but open circuit voltage, as a important parameter for predicting state-of-state in the battery, is not readily available during charge and discharge cycles. A new method for predicting terminal voltage of Li-ion battery based on pulse response is proposed, by imposing a current pulse to the battery, prediction of terminal voltage is the convolution of input pulse and voltage pulse response, introducing the pulse response concept and how to achieve it, the validity and reliability of the detection method are verified by experiments, and it can achieve the practical application effect.
