Development methods of establishing cooperation between ARM and DSP based on OMAP3530 hardware platform

Abstract:Taking OMAP3530 as the hardware platform and DVSDK as software tools, this paper introduces how to establish the development environment in order to make ARM and DSP work cooperatively, especially expounds two development methods for establishing cooperation between ARM and DSP. The advantages and disadvantages of two development methods are pointed out in this paper.

Design of transceiver for SAW RFID based on Zero-IF

Abstract:This paper designs a Zero-IF transceiver with dual-channel for the SAW RFID system with the physical characteristics of SAW tag,and explains hardware structure in detail,then gives solutions of the direct shift,carrier leakage,and even higher harmonic distortion in Zero-IF transceiver. Test results show that this system predigests the design, reduces the cost and improves the performance of a SAW RFID transceiver comparing with the other ones.

A ROM optimization method of DDS-based arbitrary waveform generator

Abstract:This paper presents an improved method of arbitrary waveform generator based on direct digital frequency synthesis(DDS) technology achieved on field programmable gate array(FPGA). First, it writes the waveform data of triangle wave, sine wave, square wave, and ascending or descending sawtooth wave data to the off-chip memory, and moves the corresponding data into FPGA on-chip RAM when it is invoked, which replaces the traditional method that stores all types of waveform data in on-chip RAM sub-blocks. Then,it takes use of the symmetry of sine and triangle waveform in the four quadrants, and the linearity of the sawtooth waveform, process the waveform data and the address value by hardware inverter. It can restore the same-precision analog signal with a quarter of the amount of data. The overall storage capacity is reduced to 5% of the original design. After validation, this improved method is feasible, and it can greatly reduce the development costs.

Research and implementation of the sub-frame scheduling of MAC in TD-LTE system

Abstract:ase on the real-time requirements in TD-LTE system,the sub-frame scheduling of MAC layer has been achieved based on the study of real-time between the MAC layer and physical layer and the analysis of Nucleus PLUS operating mechanism. According to the real-time requirements in TD-LTE wireless comprehensive tester, loop scheduling mechanism of Nucleus PLUS task has been described in detail and the MAC sub-frame scheduling process has been designed. While the basic functions of the MAC layer has been realized, the real-time capability of the TD-LTE and the needs of sub-frame synchronization with the resource management of task have been met.

Abstract:In order to realize that the computer can configurate FPGA online and high speed data transmission, this paper puts forward an USB2.0 interface design method based on CY7C68013A chip. The paper introduces the system hardware circuit design and software programming, and detailed analysis of the CY7C68013A′s firmware program design method. At the time of configurating FPGA,the CY7C68013A chip is controlled by the internal CPU and the configuration speed is 6 Mb/s; whereas during date transmission, in order to improve the transmission speed, the CY7C68013A is configured slave FIFO mode. This scheme can be widely applied to the software radio project development.

Abstract:Traditional TCP/IP protocol did a lot of effort to ensure the reliability of data transmission and flow control, so that in the field of embedded where real-time requirements are relatively high, TCP/IP protocol revealed a lack of real-time. This paper analyzes the embedded communications protocol stack based on TCP/IP protocol, improves the TCP congestion control problem in communication, and effectively improves the real-time nature of the TCP/IP protocol.

Design of voice communication system on CAN bus based on queuing theory

Abstract:According to the condition that traditional voice communication system has many defects, such as complex address coding, single communication mode and difficult to maintain, a multifunctional voice communication system which can apply to industrial field is designed. In this paper, the voice communication system translated on CAN bus is theoretically analyzed base on queuing theory. It mianly expound the hardware and software design of the CAN bus and a final test results is given at last. The results show that the loss rate of CAN frame of the system is less than 0.5‰, voice quality can pass the subjective and objective test, and the overall system can work well.

Abstract:In order to overcome that the common lock can not effectively prevent prying and alarm in time, this paper introduces a design of a wireless alarm self-locking lock. The lock comprises a buzzer alarm circuit, a wireless alarm circuit, a self-locking circuit and an identification circuit, which enhances the locking reliability.

Abstract:This paper puts forward a traditional STB energy-saving improvement and remote control integrated scheme research. Under the prerequisite of not modifying the basic structure of the original circuit placement design, by increasing the controlling system which consists of relay, SCM minimum system and infrared emission and so on, the standby power consumption becomes from the pre-improvement 5.07 W down to 0.76 W which may save about 90% of energy. In addition, a practical remote control integrated scheme is proposed,which not only avoids the user toggling two remote control integrated back and forth and enhances user experience,but also overcomes the shortcomings of complex improvement program and high cost etc.

Design on signal source of certain missile angle-speed combination coder

Abstract:Under the control of the SCM and one FPGA chip, the signal source is designed on a DDS module based on computer serial communication bus. At the same time, a spare signal source based on the chip AD9959 is designed. The software program of signal source is designed with VHDL language in QuartusII 7.2. The simulation and experiment show that the output signal has a good stability, a high resolution and accuracy. The frequency, amplitude and offset of the signal are flexible and adjustable, too. The signal source can meet the technical requirements and performance index of the certain missile angle-speed combination coder. It has a good application value.

In order to improve the speed,the hardware is designed and implemented on Verilog language, ISE is used for logic synthesis,and SystemVerilog is used for verification. Realization of remote access system based on the KEELOQ technology

Abstract:A remote access system is designed by using rolling code technology,with the HCS301 for size coding and the decoding,and using the PIC16F630 chip,which are based on the operation of the KEELOQ technology decoding arithmetic. The system flow chart and part of the hardware principle diagram are given. And the key generation and decoding process are detailed. This system has characteristics of high confidentiality, easy to use and low cost.

PWA modeling and model predictive control of DC/DC converter

Abstract:In this paper, the method of the ?自 steps discretization is introduced firstly, which presents the mapping relationship between the input variable and the state variable of the converter. Then the dynamic equations are analyzed based on the hybrid system theory, which evolved into the PWA(piecewise-affine) model. Combined with the nonlinear predictive control method, the output of the system is predicted by the PWA model, and the feedback signal is used to correct the uncertainty. By solving the linear optimal quadratic performance, the predict controller is designed. At last, the simulation result of the Buck converter is presented, compared with peak current model control algorithm, the validity of the model and the effectiveness of the proposed controller are verified.

Abstract:Experimental test of the performance of silicon batteries, VRLA and super capacitors, summarizes the characteristics of the three batteries in the operation of the terminal back-up power; detailed analysis of the silicon can be battery compared with the conventional valve-regulated lead-acid batteries, and come to silicon to the battery terminal back-up power far stronger than the conclusion of the lead-acid batteries; analysis of the feasibility of the super capacitor backup power supply as a terminal, come to the super capacitor in the high and low temperature can reach the conclusion of the effective capacity retention rate; highlight the advantages of silicon batteries and super capacitors, combined with the specific terminal where the occasion, three back-up power solutions.

Design of a digital high accuracy power supply for piezoelectric ceramics

Abstract:A PZT power supply with high accuracy and low drift is developed, which include digital tracking signal generator, composite amplifier and phase compensation circuits, etc. This composite amplifier uses a low voltage amplifier OP07 to control accuracy and drift, and the PA04 acts as voltage and current booster which are selected to diver piezotransducers. Furthermore,the stability of the composite amplifier are analyzed in detail, and optimum heatsinking are considered to improve the thermal resistance rating of heatsinks. The simulating results show this design is reasonable and effective.

Symmetrically of coupling inductance in 4-phase interleaving converter

Abstract:In order to improve the performance of interleaving converter, this paper analyzed parameters of bidirectional DC/DC converter about the asymmetric coupling inductance, and deduced the equivalent steady-state inductance and equivalent transient inductance mathematical expressions in three-phase interleaving buck converter. With existing coupled inductance structure, the asymmetric coupled inductance was symmetrically in this paper. Then we carried out the simulation from Saber and 3D Maxwell software. Finally, theory analysis and simulation results are shown correctness by the experimental results of prototype.

Research on information fusion technique of GPS/SINS tightly-coupled navigation system

Abstract:In order to improve the navigation precision of missile under the complex environment .With GPS/SINS Tightly-coupled integrated navigation system as the object of the research,first of all, the mathematical model of GPS/SINS Tightly-coupled integrated navigation system is derived;and then the algorithm of the EKF and UKF are analysed amply.Finally,EKF and UKF are replied to GPS/SINS tightly-coupled integrated navigation system,and the simulation result indicates UKF takes precedence of EKF in the estimation of position and velocity.Moreover,UKF has the better stability and stypticity.

Application of iterated extended Kalman filtering in mobile robot localization

Abstract:To address the problem of performance degradation and even divergence of EKF caused by poor estimates of the observation noise,an iterated extended Kalman filter fusion algorithm based environment characteristic is proposed. This algorithm combined with the robot internal data collected by odometer and external environment characteristic collected by laser radar sensor. In the measurement of update stage, the state estimation is iterated many times to correct the robot position, and the nonlinear error is reduced and localization accuracy is improved.

Three-wire serial interface test system based on MSP430 and FPGA

Abstract:Designed a three-wire serial interface tester based on the MSP430 MCU and FPGA by studying the constitute principle of the three-wire serial interface. The tester used MSP430 microcontroller to control the three-wire transmission function, the three-wire transmission timing generated by the FPGA and the corresponding host computer software is compiled to test the data communication. Test results show that the three-wire serial interface tester have the characteristics of easy to use, fully function, and stable performance, which could be better used in the three-wire serial interface communications test of the aerospace industry.

Remote data transmission system based on NiosII and 3G wireless networks

Abstract:In order to relize the remote data transmission at where wired network is difficult to cover, remote data transmission system based on NiosII was was designed. Using IP core in the FPGA chip to build NiosII control system and UART interface communicating with 3G module, data transmission control procedures and communication protocols wse designed to achieve the data remote transmission via 3G wireless network. Testing in power system remote data acquisition system proved that the transmission system has perfect function, reliable running.

Research on measurement of pressure signal and circuit design

Abstract:The measurement precision of the engine’s lubricant oil pressure that in the FDR (Flight Data Recorder) is lower than needed. Aiming at this problem, the working mechanism of the measurement circuit is analyzed in the first. And then the resolution is given by adding a measurement circuit of the power supply voltage beside the FDR. The working circuit is designed and the testing results are analyzed. So on the precondition that keep the inside hardware structure of the FDR remains unchanged,the precision of the engine’s lubricant oil pressure can be greatly improved, which can provide important proof to the surveillance of the engine.

The communication interface research and application implementation of sensor modules in Internet of Things

A general sensor module is designed to mainly solve the communication interface problem between ZigBee and kinds of sensors like switch sensors, simulation sensors and digital sensors, which can combine the sensor and ZigBee technology to implement the collection and controlling of all kinds of sensors’ information.

Research on modulation technology of medium voltage distribution network carrier communication

Abstract:Reasonable modulation mode can effectively improve its capacity of resisting disturbance. According to the features of PLC, analyzed its attenuation characteristics and modeled it based on transmission line theory. Comparison of the calculation and measured results verifies the accuracy of the model. Introduced the fundamentals and advantages of OFDM and analyzed its realization process. Simulated the transmission characteristics of OFDM in the measured power line channel. Further studied its resistance to multipath fading ability in poor channel environment, providing reference for giving full play to the advantages of OFDM.

Location of bridge over water based on the extraction of environment elements

Abstract:The bridge detection accuracy is not high using the exiting methods, especially when positioning result depends on detection window choice in the dry season, and it is easy to fallout when there is island under the bridge. In this paper, a method for automatic recognition of bridges over water is present, based on bridge knowledge models, composed of two steps: detection and location. Shadow features are extracted for the first time to assist location of targets. Extraction of environment elements (water, bridge and shadow) closely related with targets, combined with verification of knowledge and rules improve the positioning accuracy. Experiments are executed on the high-resolution remote image, and the results confirm the validity of the proposed method.

Cross-layer throughput optimization for mobile wireless sensor networks

Abstract:In this paper ,the throughput of point-to-point link for mobile wireless sensor networks is studied using cross-layer optimization. Firstly,the theoretical throughput expressions is derived. To maximize the throughput, an mathematical optimization framework based on hierarchical optimization is adopted. And then the optimal symbol rate , the optimal constellation size in physical layer and the optimal packet in MAC layer are derived. According to these optimization variables , the cross-layer design can be used for throughput optimization. Finally, a adaptive cross-layer optimization strategy is proposed. Simulation results show that the throughput is significantly improved with the cross-layer design compared with traditional hierarchical optimization.

Hardware platform design for GPP software-defined radio system based on USB 3.0

Abstract:This paper presents a hardware platform based on USB 3.0 interface for the baseband data transmission of software defined radio (SDR) system with general purpose processor(GPP). The platform which is made up of USB 3.0 controller, FPGA and DDRII implements the baseband data transmission of WCDMA under the requirement of high throughput and low latency. According to our analysis and test, the loopback delay time of the platform is around 0.7 millisecond and the throughput of the platform is up to 200 Mb/s, which meets the system requirement of WCDMA.

Research on effective demodulation algorithm of burst MPSK in HF channel

Abstract:The demodulation of MPSK signals in HF burst communication is presented in this paper. The scheme exploits an accurate carrier estimation algorithm based on the FFT interpolation for carrier recovery with the preamble sequence . It uses the fractionally- spaced equalizer (FSE) for time-recovery and equalization. To mitigate the Inter-symbol interference (ISI), the paper takes the decision feedback equalizer (DFE) with DPLL. The performance of the system in multipath-fading channels was simulated. The results show that the scheme is with low complexity and high convergence rate and the performance is all right.

Broadband class-E high efficiency power amplifier design for VHF

Abstract:This paper uses ADS(Advanced Design System) software simulation design based on the 28-V MOSFET device VHF band 30 MHz~80 MHz class E switching mode high efficiency power amplifier,The input uses broadband matching,output end of the switch to change the back end of the matching circuit and filter.Circuit measurement:30 MHz~80 MHz output power is 3.2 W~ 7.1 W,efficiency from 30 MHz 71.4% to 80MHz 52.5%, and good modulation linearity, can be applied to the EER transmitter.

Abstract:In order to overcome the deep fading caused by the multipath propagation in the underwater acoustic enviroment which hugely destroys the performance of the single carrier system, we proposed, compared and analysed time frequency hybrid feedback equalizer(HDFE) and iterative block decision feedback equalization(IBDFE) based on a kind of unique word(UW) block structure. Simulation results and pool test indicate that IBDFE based on the unique word block structure is a pro-mising technique in the underwater acoustic communication.

The optimization of low-power RFID data acquisition system

Abstract:The paper analyzes the demand of low-power data sampling system and describes the direction of system optimization. The optimization of hardware circuit design of cluster-head nodes in a wireless network separates polling and data transmission. It shorts the time of data communications and further reduces the power consumption of non-cluster-head node in system under the premise of ensuring reliable wireless data transmission.

Improved genetic algorithm for solving traveling salesman problems in unconnected graph

Abstract:Because the Traditional Genetic Algorithm(TGA) had defects of premature convergence and slow convergence, an improved genetic algorithm(IGA) was put forward. The IGA adopted the chromosome encoding scheme based on sequence of city which traveling salesman passed through, combined stochastic method and greedy method ways to produce the initial populations so as to contain optimal value, avoid infeasible chromosomes and improve the subsequently genetic efficiency. Then, precedence preservation crossover and shift change mutation operations were executed. At the same time, local neighborhood search was introduced to accelerate convergence. Furthermore, the criterion was given to judge whether optimal solution meets unconnected graph constraints or not. Finally, computation results proved the effectiveness of IGA.

Color image edge detection based on improved Sobel algorithm

Abstract:The traditional image edge detection methods have many shortcomings such as with edge position deviation, edge lost and with discontinuous edges etc. In order to solve such problems a novel method was provided in this article which combined the traditional Sobel gradient edge detection method and image threshold segmentation technique. Compared with the traditional image edge detection methods, it reduces the color edge detection error rate and improves the edge detection performance.

An improved anti-collision algorithm based on multi-tree search in RFID

Abstract:Multi-tags collision seriously affect the performance of RFID systems,in order to better solve this problem, this paper presents the anti-collision algorithm based on the multi-branch tree search and selects binary tree search and quad tree search algorithm based on the different dynamics of the collision bits,it also references the stack to store query commands to avoid duplication and redundance of search,making the system throughput greatly improve in the case of very large number of tags.

Recognition of the screen coding based on mathematical morphology

Abstract:By choosing appropriate structuring elements, filtering and boundary extraction are achieved, and then by Hough transform, slant correction can be finished successfully. By using of the coordinate orientation method, information bits are amplified, thus eliminate the influence of the deformation of the sample. The compare decoding results shows that the mathematical morphology method has higher recognition rate, shorter recognition time, thus verify this method is effectiveness and practicability.

Implementation of the improved fast median filtering algorithm based on FPGA

Abstract:The speed of classical median filtering algorithm is slow because of a lot of sorting and it blurs the image, this paper introduces an improved algorithm by adding threshold comparison to the fast median filtering algorithm, which has a parallel pipeline structure. The improved algorithm is implemented on the platform of field programmable gate array(FPGA).The experimental results show that the improved fast median filtering algorithm not only has less times of comparison but also better quality, meet the requirements of the image pre-processing of real-time over the software version of the same algorithm.

Abstract:This paper describes a kind of the waveform replication method of infrared remote control self-learning module, which realizes infrared remote control signal carrier recognition and waveform learning. Regarding STC12C5410AD SCM as heart of designing, this module not only brings about infrared remote control signal carrier recognition and waveform learning by combining external interrupt and timer. Having been tested, this module can precisely study waveform of infrared remote control signal and control infrared equipment. It has good versatility and wide range of learning carrier. What’s more, it can be applied to universal remote control and smart home system.
