The research of data management technology in embedded grinding active measuring instrument

Abstract:For functional requirement of the embedded active measurement control system in grinding processing, this paper proposes a solution that uses database to manage large amounts of data in the system. Through performance comparison test of commonly used embedded database under the WinCE system, this article ultimately selects SQLite database for data management. Combined with SQLite database application in the initiative measurement control system of grinding, the database structure of grinding processing active measuring instrument and its implementation process in the Visual Studio 2008 integrated development environment are given. The research results show that this plan can meet the requirements of the real-time and consistency for data access, and will have an important significance on grinding processing active measuring instrument’s research and development.

A marine data collection system based on low-power buoys

Abstract:Aimming at the application of the buoy technology in the ocean environmental observation, the conventional platform was updated by including a self-lifting buoy control system, in order to collect the underwater environmental data simultaneously in different depth, and to satisfy the security and concealment. The data-collection system consists of MSP430 as MCU, Si4432 as wireless module, SD card as storage medium and several sensors such as the sensors of temperature and humidity, illuminometer, accelerators, inclinometer, CTD and dissolved oxygen analyzer. All the functions including data collection, data storage and data transmission were been realized. The communication test showed that,the data from the system could be transmitted to shore station in reliability, which could meet the requirement of the design.

The design of an intelligent carpool-matching system based on LBS-Cloud service

Abstract:In order to make carpool travels more conveniently, an intelligent carpool-matching system was designed and developed based on the LBS-Cloud platform and combined with Web server and database technology. The client device was developed based on embedded platform.The architecture of this system and the implementation method of LBS-Cloud storage and retrieval were introduced. The test showed that the whole system worked well. The functions such as registration,login,auto locate, intelligent matching and so on,could be all realized successfully. The intelligent carpool system has limitless applications.

Design of electronic sub-dash figure ‘+’ generated in a video aiming

Abstract:This paper has studied electronic sub-dash in a video aiming. It consists of CCD image sensor,microcontroller unit, the chip of video aiming generating electronic sub-dash, press keys and some electric circuit. Using the technology of screen display, the electronic sub-dash is produced with MAX7456 chip. The experimental results indicate that this video aiming could generate electronic sub-dash accurately and display the target image clearly. It also has the advantages of aiming in real-time, operation flexibility and reliability.

An energy-efficient scheduling based on mixed tasks set

Abstract:Dynamic voltage and frequency scaling can significantly save energy for real-time systems. Previous studies consider thread schedules focused on the model of periodic tasks set while only a few of those heuristics aim at the mixed tasks set of periodic tasks and aperiodic tasks. Moreover, DVS heuristics based past value of CPU utilization reduce the energy consumed at the system level, but most of them cannot guarantee real-time constraint. This paper presents a new approach to combine slowdown factor voltage/frequency scheduling and system-level DVS technique with PID controller and adaptive trade-off policy for better energy savings in soft real-time systems. This approach shows that when the utilization of server is less than 25%, the energy dissipation is reduced by 14.2%~25.9% less than 3% deadline missed rate compared with the proposed heuristics by University of the California.

Design and implementation of the tube voltage control system based on ATmega128

Abstract:ATmega128 microcontroller of AVR series from ATMEL Corporation is used in this design. This microcontroller is used to control the frequency modulation circuit to modulate the frequency of the system,so that the precise control and modulation of the X-Ray tube voltage in dental CBCT system can be realized. Besides,functions such as human-computer interaction,data storage and transmission,AD conversion and communication with serial port are all realized.The hardware design is simple,reliable and easily to be implemented. The software development is convenient and flexible. This control system achieves expected function.

Design of ALC circuit applied in SSPA

Abstract:The ALC circuit applied in X-band solid-state power amplifier(SSPA) has been designed. By detecting the output power, the ALC circuit controls the variable attenuator to regulate the output power and the gain of the power amplifier. The operating frequency of the amplifier ranges from 8.0 GHz to 8.5 GHz. At room temperature, the gain flatness of the amplifier is below 0.5 dB and the output power is between 13.2 dBm and 13.7 dBm,with the input power varying from -5.0 dBm to 5.0 dBm.

A variable gain UWB LNA adopting a novel current steering structure

Abstract:A variable gain UWB LNA operating in 3 GHz~5 GHz frequency range is presented based on TSMC 0.18 μm standard CMOS process. A common-gate structure with a local feedback stage is adopted in the input stage of the LNA to achieve ultra-wideband input match and optimize the noise performance. A novel current steering structure is proposed to realize the continuous variable gain of amplifiers. The output stage employs a source-follower to achieve excellent output match. The LNA is simulated and verified with ADS2009, the results show that the LNA operating in 3 GHz~5 GHz frequency range can realize a continuous gain tuning range of 25 dB, a maximum gain of 24 dB, an input reflection of less than -11 dB, an output reflection of less than -14 dB, a minimum noise figure of 2.3 dB, and an IIP3 of 4 dBm. The LNA consumes only 8.8 mW with a 1.2 V power supply.

Application of SPI Data Flash in MEMS attitude measurement system

Abstract:The MEMS attitude measurement system based on MEMS sensor has been widely used with its advantages of small volume, low cost, easy to use, properties of real-time,etc. Mostly, the sensor information is not only used for real-time processing to determine the attitude, but also required to be stored for revision, simulation, numerical analysis, and so on. Based on the difficult problem of large capacity storage in actual use, this paper mainly introduces the application of AT45DB321D in the attitude measurement system, and describes the basic performance, the hardware connection and software design. This paper particularly illustrates the realization of the analog SPI using I/O port and operation instruction in software program.

Design of anti-demolition read-only active RFID tag based on nRF24L01

Abstract:This paper introduces a design of a read-only active RFID tag, which has low-power and anti-demolition features. The hardware and software of the active RFID tag are discussed. The tag uses nRF24L01 as RF chip, and achieves anti-demolition via a switch. In order to notify monitors once the tag and the object separated, a separate data pipe is assigned for carrying the abnormal state packets. When removing a tag, the reader records the number of abnormal state to treat illegal and legal personnel. Finally, the read-only active tag anti-collision algorithm is discussed. The active RFID tag is well suited for real-time monitoring or query outdoor certain items.

Design of a zero-detect circuit for synchronous rectification mode switching power supply

Abstract:A kind of zero-detect circuit applicable to synchronous rectifier mode switching power supply is proposed in this paper. This circuit converts the drain-source voltage of low-side power transistor to current signal, and then conforms whether or not the current of low-side power transistor is zero through comparing the current signal and the bias current. Due to the use of the same type transistor with low-side power transistor as a linearization resistor, the drawbacks of the variations of power transistor′s on-resistance with process and temperature can be eliminated. The zero-detect circuit is simulated with a standard 0.6 μm CD process. The results indicate that the circuit can realize accurate zero crossing detection within process corners and temperature range, and the consumption of the circuit is only 6 μA.

FPGA-based design of intra mode prediction in AVS video encoder

Abstract:In this paper, a hardware architecture of AVS HD intra predictor is proposed. After the analysis of each prediction mode, a pipeline of the intra prediction encoder and the hardware of processing element are designed. According to the relationship of each prediction mode, the pipeline is reasonable organized. The encoder can encode 8 pixels in one cycle and realize the HD video sequences real-time encoding. All of the prediction modes but Plane mode are implied in the same hardware circuit and the Plane mode is implied in a different hardware, which saves the hardware resources. The design improves the usage of the hardware.

Digital predistortion based on feedback iteration for concurrent dual-band power amplifier

Abstract:This paper presents a 2D digital predistortion(2D-DPD) technique combined with the feedback iteration method that is applied to linearization of concurrent dual-band power amplifier. Compared with conventional linearization techniques, this 2D-DPD method reduces the requirement for the digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converter device. This simulation results show that using two modulated wideband code-division multiple-access signals(WCDMA)at the same time, separated the frequency by 100 MHz, two-dimensional polynomial model can better eliminate the nonlinear distortion and feedback iteration method used on the inverse is more accurate.

Power Supply Technology and Its Application

Quasi resonant soft switching power supply for positive and negative incentive mode

Abstract:This paper designed a kind of quasi resonant soft switching sower supply based on chip UCC28600D as the core, and combined with positive and negative incentive mode. Based on positive incentive and cooperate with negative incentive, can expand the power output capacity. Designed switching power transformer by constant-power method. The resonant circuit eliminated the the opening noise of exciter tube and close noise of positive exciter tube. The continued flow effect of the filter inductor eliminated the close noise of positive incentive rectifier diode. All these makes the design of the switching power supply with a hightly spotless output voltage, the disturbance voltage of power output port and pulsating voltage of switching cycle are below 5 mV, and working efficiency can be 85%. These reflect the advantages of positive and negative incentive in switching power supply.

Design of the DDS frequency precision pulse power system

Abstract:A high-current, high-precision pulse type smart AC power system based on the LC series resonant principle is discussed. The power adopts DDS to generate specific frequency, by the H-bridge circuit to produce high-power square wave, and coil harmony with capacitance form a resonant circuit, and converted into power sinusoidal AC pulse. The instrument features many merits such a high output power, high integration, and intelligent, portable security, has been applied to the actual product.

Test method of landfill the geomembrane rupture the leakage voltage differential vector

Abstract:A landfill geomembrane leakage rapid detection method is given, including the test probe test trolley supporting poles, signal processing circuit, data acquisition systems, GPS positioning device, computer data analysis and model systems; test probe through the wire andconnecting the high voltage electrode, the negative terminal of the source of high voltage(1 000 V) positive electrode, the high voltage(1 000 V) direct signal source to form a high-voltage DC electric field, using multi-dimensional vector analysis of the voltage field. The method does not require large-scale dig landfill, and does not require a large number of laying the detection electrode. Unlike the previous flat-voltage field analysis, is can rapidly get the direction and location of the leakage point , to improve the detection efficiency and reduce labor intensity.

Energy recovery circuit and detection based on soft switching technology

Abstract:This paper has designed an electric energy recovery circuit,which is suitable for all kinds of hard switching power converter circuit. This circuit is compatible with all PWM control circuit, and the circuit only requires a small coil, two secondary coils and two specific diode. Through the power factor correction circuit(PFC), the circuit is compared with the SiC diode. The results show that the new energy efficiency is higher than that of the SiC diode circuit.

Research on wireless power transfer based on magnetic coupling resonant

Abstract:Firstly, this paper expounds the principle of magnetic coupling resonant wireless power transfer. Based on the analysis of the transmitting and receiving circuit topologies, a model is designed with a resonance frequency of 1 MHz and a load of 10 Ω. The transmitting and receiving circuit of the model are used in series compensation structure. In this paper, the relationship among output power, efficiency, coils, load, and mutual inductance are analyzed from the circuit point based on the coupling mode of two coils. According to the condition that the magnetic resonance system satisfies the maximum power output with a low efficiency, this paper presents a power efficiency index. The index is a synthetic performance index which takes output power and efficiency. Finally,the feasibility of the index is verified through Matlab simulation.

The design of electronic load instrument

Abstract:Using ATmega16 controller which is enhanced AVR RISC structure as the core, we design a switching electronic load instrument. Comparing the sawtooth wave generated by the ramp generator with the error signal of the current sampling signal and the control signal, a PWM wave about 20KHz which controls MOSFET is generated. Then constitute a closed loop negative feedback control loop through amplifier PI regulator to achieve constant. Constant resistance and constant voltage mode can be designed by software in real-time adjustment to flow through the current of the MOS transistor circuits. The measured data show that the accuracy within 1% in constant current mode, constant resistance and constant power mode accuracy within 3%.

Wireless real-time monitoring system for table grape cold-chain logistics

Abstract:In order to ensure the quality and safety of the table grape and improve the transparency during the cold-chain logistics, a wireless real-time monitoring system was designed for table grape cold-chain logistics with ZigBee protocol and CC2530 wireless sensor SoC. The system included a sensor node, which integrated by the temperature and humidity sensor and the SO2 sensor, a coordinator used for data upload and ZigBee network organization, a remote monitoring system developed for cold-chain real-time monitor. And we have made the performance test of the system, which included the real-time monitoring of the cold-chain environment under the constant temperature of 0 ℃. The performance test of the system proved that it could reflect the process of change of the temperature, the relative humidity and SO2 content in the environment stably and accurately, and it could work effectively under the table grape cold-chain logistics.

Research and design of intelligent home control system based on ZigBee

Abstract:Based on the insufficient and current situations of intelligent home control system, ZigBee technology and GPRS technology were used to connect the home network with the outside network to control a smart home system in this design. The ARM920T core of S3C2440 microprocessor was used as the central controller, interior completed wireless networking with ZigBee technology. Remote mobile phone users by sending an SMS, transmitted the control instruction of home appliance equipment to the central controller. Then the central controller sent command to home appliance control terminals through the ZigBee wireless network. Finally the system achieved the purpose of remote control. At the same time through the GPRS network, the system sent the operation status of equipments to the user.

Technology and implementation of data compression based on ARC algorithm

Abstract:For the application of lossless compression techniques in the aerospace telemetry system, the program that the hardware configuration of real-time telemetry noise data lossless compression system was designed based on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) was provided.Combined with the concept of information entropy of Shannon theory, the nature of data compression algorithm evaluation criteria were studied. After comparing different compression results of several algorithms via PC simulation test , Arithmetic Coding(ARC) algorithm was selected finally. The test results showed that this program was able to collect and compress the telemetry noise data, improved the compression removal rate and compression speed, optimized compression performance.

Design of high precision electromagnetic signal acquisition system based on FPGA

Abstract:In order to meet the need of transient electromagnetic exploration, a high precision digital recorder mainly made by the high performance 24 bit A/D chipset AD7762 and logic control core FPGA is introduced. The high-speed data channel is built between FPGA and PC through applying the chip CY7C68013-A as the USB2.0 interface chip. PC used LabVIEW as a development platform to complete data display and analysis function. Test results indicated that the system has good performance, scalability and accurate, which meets the needs of data acquisition of electromagnetic exploration.

Design of ultrasonic receiver circuit based on AN7218

Abstract:Considering the disadvantages of present ultrasonic receiver circuit, such as complex structure, noisy, higher costs and put forward an ultrasonic receiver circuit based on FM-AM IF amplifier AN7218. The design achieves ultrasonic receiver signal low-noise preamplifier by FM-AM IF amplifier. The design system adopts various types of ultrasonic receiver circuit which is intermediate frequency. The experiment shows the circuit has extremely simple, stable performance, low prices, and will have a broad application prospect.

The transmitting terminal design of 1 W microwave wireless transmission system

Abstract:It introduced a transmitting terminal design of small power(1 W), 2.45 GHz micro-wave transmission system. A DC voltage level was transformed to a microwave signal of 2.45 GHz in S band with an MCU MSP430 of TI and a phase-locked frequency synthesis chip ADF4360-0 of ADI. The power of the micro wave was enlarged to 1 W by a driver stage amplifier which was consisted of two chips, ERA-5SM and ADL5606. Then the frequency synthesizer and the amplifier formed a transmitting terminal with an horn antenna. After the microwave signal rectified to be a DC level which would be supplied to the load by a rectangular microstrip rectifier antenna, it formed a basic microwave transmission system. It analyzed the parameters and methods of the design in detail, and carried through the simulation and verification test.

Performance evaluation of LTE advanced downlink channel estimators

Abstract:In this paper we apply and assess the performance of different channel estimation algorithms to the new reference signal structure standardized for LTE Advanced in the 3GPP Release 10 standards. The different reference signals are presented and they are employed to obtain channel estimates for demodulation and feedback calculation. Furthermore, we point out the advantages and drawbacks of the LTE Advanced reference signals in comparison to the LTE reference symbol structure. Finally we provide simulation results to evaluate the capabilities of the designed channel estimators.

A L/P cross-layer design for satellite mobile communications

Abstract:This paper proposes a L/P cross-layer design based on hybrid automatic repeat request(HARQ) of link layer combining with adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) of physical layer to be applied in satellite mobile communications. It is valued onchannel model and compared with that of non-cross-layer design. By the theory analysis and results of simulation, it can be found that the design can improve the performance of satellite mobile communications synthetically and effectively.

Parallel adaptive MAP-BP decoding algorithm for GLDPC codes

Abstract:The parallel adaptive MAP-BP decoding algorithm for GLDPC codes is proposed, in which maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) decoding based on bit trellis is used for component codes while belief propagation (BP) based on log-likelihood ratio (LLR) is used for local codes. An adaptive correction factor is adopted to adjust the output of MAP and BP throughout the iteration process. Simulation results show that, compared with the traditional decoding method of GLDPC codes, MAP-BP algorithm improves decoding accuracy and gets a faster convergence speed.

A semi-blind channel estimation method based on decision feedback

Abstract:Aimed at the flat Rayleigh fading channel, a semi-blind channel estimation algorithm based on decision feedback was proposed to lower the dependency on pilot carrier in wireless mobile communication systems using MIMO-OFDM. The proposed algorithm initially estimated the channel state using LS algorithm with pilot carrier, then the antenna transmitting signal corresponding to next OFDM signal was derived from the initial channel estimation. Finally, an adaptive filter with steady-state tracking characteristics was used to trace the following channel state and the recovered signal was used as the input for next estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed semi-blind estimation algorithm has better steady-state performance than pilot-based LS algorithm in flat Rayleigh fading channel.

Analysis of frequency-hopping sequence complexity based on chaotic features

Abstract:For the existing analytical method of FH(Frequency-Hopping) sequence complexity, this paper proposes an approach that can measure the FH sequence complexity with correlative dimensions by analyzing the chaotic features. By this approach, the FH sequence complexity that satisfies the chaotic features can be analyzed. Furthermore, this approach also provides a new reference for measuring FH sequence complexity. Finally the complexity of FH sequences based on L-G discontinuous tap model and Logistic-Kent cascade mapping are analyzed by this approach, coming to the comparison of the two models.

A joint coarse and fine timing synchronization method based on IEEE 802.11p system

Abstract:The paper proposes a joint coarse and fine timing synchronization method based on IEEE 802.11p system to cope with the high mobility environment. The coarse timing synchronization is based on short preambles autocorrelation and the fine timing synchronization utilizes the sliding window and cross correlation technique to locate the accurate synchronization position. After simulation by matlab, the result shows that the bit error rate of the proposed scheme is less than others by 12.5% at least at speed from 89.7 km/h to 200.1 km/h; the MSE of synchronization position of the proposed scheme is less than others by 20.1%at least at speed from 126.3 km/h to 200.1 km/h.

RF digital power amplifier utilizing multi-bit bandpass delta sigma modulator

Abstract:To achieve better efficiency and linearity, RF digital power amplifier architecture utilizing multi-bit bandpass delta sigma modulator(BPDSM) is proposed. In this paper, design methodology of multi-bit BPDSM is presented. In order to short the critical path, classical CRFB architecture is modified by using retiming, pipeline and pre-calculation, the max frequency of new architecture can reach 200 MHz. In addition, architecture of multi-level switch mode power amplifier is designed, it combines multiple switch power amplifier cells with its own power supply in serials, realizing efficient amplification of multi-bit pulse signals. Finally, based on FPGA and lump components, a digital power amplifier with output frequency of 30 MHz and power efficiency of 60.6% at 10 W output is implemented.

Study on vehicle attitude perception and state prediction platform

Abstract:Design MEMS vehicle attitude perception platform integrated with accelerometers, angular rate meter and magnetometer, and carry out data filtering, data fusion and attitude solution through the micro-controller, obtain vehicle real-time attitude information. Build auto-regressive model on the PC for vehicle motion attitude real-time perception and short-term state prediction. Finally, taking yaw angle and roll angle for example, carry out vehicle road test and compare the test value with predictive value.

Design and application of hardware in shiphandling simulator

Abstract:Design the console’s frequently-used hardware equipments of the large-scale shiphandling simulator based on the research strength of our college. Besides, the overall architecture of the hardware system, and the hardware and software design of some equipments are also provided in detailed. The simulator follows the STCW Convention, and meets the prescribed performance standards of China Maritime Safety Administration, and has broad market prospects. Now, the simulator has been applied to many domestic navigation colleges or institutions, and has achieved good results.

Improved algorithm of regular expression matching for network flow

Abstract:On the basis of analyzing the classic regular expression algorithm, this paper proposes a novel network-oriented regular expression matching algorithm based on guess-grouping-inspection. Firstly, the algorithm searches the characteristic sub-blocks with high probability of occurrence, divides these characteristic sub-blocks into groups, and carries out DFA conversion. Then, it performs the guess match algorithm to the output. If the match is successful, it will use NFA to carry out complete verification. The experiment results show that this method could not only reduce the memory consumption and resource consumption rate, but also have high matching efficiency.

Study and design of the RFID hand-held reader based on the STM32

Abstract:The system was designed from some aspects, which were chip selections, power consumption, information security, transmission rate, etc. The STM32F103RBT6 was the reader micro-controller. This reader, which hads been tested, could touch control, read and write S50 and S70 card, and has data store function. It could use lithium battery to supply power, and the power could automatically switch when the lithium battery charged, the reader had a long standby time.

A design of waveform generator for DMD drive system

Abstract:This paper proposes a design of the waveform generator based on ARM and FPGA, which can be used to drive the digital micromirror device(DMD). It consists of a generator and a converter. In this paper, the hardware principles and software flowchart are both illustrated. The results of experiment shows that, this system reaches the design requirement.

Design and implementation of block upload and download large files

Abstract:To solve the failure problem of the network storage process while uploading and downloading large files, this paper puts forward a method to store and manage large files in blocks by database. Split a large file into some blocks and then upload or download them separately, that can avoid the influence of the network factors on directly uploading and downloading large files. Tests show that, the method proposed in the paper can effectively avoid the failures that may exist in the file uploading and downloading process, and improve the efficiency of uploading and downloading large files.
