Implementation of FPGA remote update system based on μClinux

Abstract:Aimed at the problena of Altera′s Cyclone series FPGA which can′t be used in a special environment using the download cable to reconfigure the chip, we designed and implemented a μClinux-based FPGA remote update system. The system using Altera SoPC technology, which is embedded in a Nios II soft-core processor,to run a μClinux system and transport the data via the UART serial port. The configuration data is written to the memory chip, EPCS4 and CFI, with MTD driver. The method utilizes the hardware and software programmable features of FPGA to complete the online upgrade of FPGA.

The design of cigarette smoke CO gas concentrations detector based on NDIR sensor

Abstract:In order to detect the concentration of CO in cigarette smoke, a detection device was designed. The non-dispersion infrared(NDIR) gas sensor, which is used in the device, has the characteristics of high precision and fast response. The control unit is used to complete the gas sampling control, sensor zero calibration and test results display, which uses a microcontroller as its core. Finally, the parameter calibration method of the sensor and the factors influencing the measurement results are introduced.

The design of remote health monitoring system based on body area network

Abstract:A remote health monitoring system is designed in this paper based on body area network for the need of the remote real-time monitoring of the vital signs of the elderly and the chronically ill. This system consists of WBAN, data processing service center, the monitoring terminal and several other components. The vital signs sensing node which is designed based on ZigBee network can capture and transmit the real-time ECG, blood pressure, temperature and other information of the body. The drive circuit is designed based on the features of the sensor signal and the software is designed based on CC2530 processor. Data processing center is responsible for information storage, analysis and dissemination,and various monitoring terminals can also query the data processing center for the vital signs information. Test results show that the system can complete the appropriate functionality to meet the application requirements.

Design and application of two level Wishbone bus based on wb_conmax

Abstract:SoC is an important method in embedded system.It is critical to interconnect a variety of IP core.The paper compares the four kinds common on-chip bus and decides to use Wishbone bus from OpenCores organization to design the SoC system. This paper puts forward two level bus based on wb_conmax that was released and maintended by OpenCores organization. Through the expansion of the secondary Wishbone bus, the design allowes the SoC system to integrate multiple IP more easily, while low-power requirements of the design can be obtained by the power optimization strategy. Finally, we compare the two different smallest SoC system based on AEMB system structure that adapts the single bus and two level bus structure respectively. The Results verify that the two level bus is feasible in low-power design of SoC.

Strategy of accelerating booting process in multi-core systems

Abstract:The ability of fast boot is one of the key metrics of product performance. As multi-core microprocessors are being employed widely in more and more applications, the paper introduces some experiences to shorten the boot time, including optimizing boot process, improving the loading and initialization method of modules, designing communicating mechanism between cores, etc. It also elaborates some techniques, such as boot tasks assignment and parallelization, memory division and initialization, fast-initialization of PCIe bus. Experiments verify that the new strategy can not only shorten the boot time, but also be transplantable and scalable.

Abstract:This paper puts forward a kind of braking engery absorbing and feedback device based on DSP controller. The fundamental , design solution and key technology of the controller are described in detail. This device has been applied and operated well in real subway line. The result shows that the system can catch and absorb braking energy and feed back them as electricity to power grid, and avoid voltage surge.

Design and implementation for programmable Viterbi decoder

Abstract:As an excellent way of channel coding, convolution encoding is used in the satellite communication and wireless communication system. In contrast to other decoding method, the performance of Viterbi decoding is better. It is a kind of maximum likelihood decoding algorithm, whose decode performance is good and fast, with simple hardware implementation circuit. This paper proposes a specific instruction set processor architecture,is able to support multiple constraint length of Viterbi decoding, has made the beneficial attempt for the communication system in terms of channel transmission. The dedicated processor architecture is designed and the coding of(2,1,7) format is implemented by ASIC. Compared the performance of the two design,the maximum working frequency of the programmable Viterbi decoder is 123 MHz.

Design of digital down-conversion multilevel filter with variable bandwidth

Abstract:The paper proposes a kind of digital down-conversion(DDC) structures on the basis of multilevel filter with variable bandwidth. By analyzing the principle of DDC and verifying of Matlab simulation, the FIR filter coefficient group based on variable bandwidth is proposed. Furthermore, the whole structure is implemented under Xilinx development environment.

Design of DLMS adaptive filter based on special DA scheme

Abstract:A special DA scheme is proposed to increase the processing speed of the DLMS adaptive filter and decrease the consumption of logic elements of FPGA. The basic structure of this scheme mainly contains I-LUT and K-LUT modules. The former is used to store all possible combination sums of the input samples, the latter is utilized to update the adaptive filter′s weights and compute its output signal. Matlab software simulation proves the feasibility and correctness of the design of adaptive filter. Quartus II hardware simulation verifies that the adaptive filter based on the DA scheme has higher processing speed and consumes less logic elements.

An FPGA+PWM based multi-channel signal generator

Abstract:Due to the low accuracy, bad stability and reliability of signal generator based on operational amplifier, and high cost and complex circuit of signal generator based on DDS, a design of signal generator based on FPGA+PWM is introduced. Without DAC and multi-channel analog switch, this design uses FPGA to generate PWM pulses which can be used to get waveform signal after filtered and amplified. The experimental results show that this signal generator has high resolution of amplitude and frequency, and good DC performance, and all of its channels can be controlled independently to generate various waveform. This design is highly expansive and flexible, and its cost is low, which can be used for different occasions.

Test of fully-integrated RF launching chip and achievement of LED remote control

Abstract:The structure, operating theory and the test method of a kind of self-developed fully-integrated 315 MHz RF launching chip based on on-chip oscillator are introduced.The test method uses the jumper wire on the test board to encode, uses FPGA to produce oscillation of the encode circuit and control signal, and uses super-regenerative detection circuit to constitute LED switch remote control system. The result shows that this method satisfies the requirement of designing,whose output power is 9.30 dBm and frequency deviation is less than 0.2%. This system can provides low-cost LED operating system scheme for companies, and is of high value.

Abstract:In order to solve the problem of key by misjudgment caused by ghost peak when DEMA attack,based on the analysis of mechanism of electromagnetic leakage of the COMS circuit,this article constructs three different division functions in view of the DEMA attack of DES algorithm,then contrasts and analyses the function, and provides the appropriate division function for DES algorithm. The experimental results show that the division function can effectively help the attack avoid the phenomenon of ghost peak and improve the success rate.

Abstract:Optimized hardware architecture of transform, quantization and scan for AVS HD video encoding is proposed. Hardware resources are saved by optimizing the algorithm of integer DCT transform module.The improvement of the traditional Zig-Zag scan algorithm saves the time of scanning. According to the arithmetic relationship of each module, pipeline structure is reasonably arranged and parallel pipeline process is used to achieve the design of transform, quantization and scan module in HD video encoding. The validated results on FPGA show that the design meets the requirement of real-time encoding of HD video sequence.

Study on fault diagnosis of three-phase sine-PWM inverter based on particle swarm optimization-support vector machine

Abstract:According to the fault three-phase-SPWM, a new model of fault diagnosis base on was proposed. Particle swarm optimization(PSO) is an emerging global based on intelligent heuristic search algorithm, with easy to understand, easy to achieve,the characteristics of strong global search capability. Thus, PSO is suitable to determine free parameters of support vector machine(SVM). Using the method of multi-resolution analysis wavelet transform theory to extract and analyze fault signal ,extracting eigenvectors as the input of PSO-SVM to training and testing.By comparing the simulation results indicate that the method is feasible and has good ability to fault diagnosis.

PEMFC current distribution of the external magnetic field

Abstract:This paper presents a non-contact measurement method which determines the internal current density distribution based on PEMFC external magnetic field distribution. First of all, it discussed the relationship between current density distribution and working state taking excess oxygen as an example based on the PEMFC mathematical model. Moreover, it simulated the relationship between the internal current distribution of the fuel cell and its surrounding magnetic field distribution using the ANSOFT / MAXWELL 2D static magnetic field. At last, it inferred the current distribution inside the battery from the simulation result. It turned out that PEMFC external magnetic field distribution is directly related to the current density distribution inside the battery and that its current density distribution can be inferred from the distribution of its external magnetic field, and thereby control the working state of the battery without interfering its inner workings.

Design of a hybrid energy source for hybrid electric vehicles based on improved filter power splitting control strategy

Abstract:The energy storage system in hybrid electric vehicles(HEV) should supply variable power levels and take regenerative power from braking. To these two demands, the battery-ultracapacitor hybrid energy source was introduced. The passive and active hybrid energy source have been analyzed and researched respectively, and the active hybrid energy source adopts the improved control strategy of filter power splitting. Model and simulate the two structures of hybrid energy sources under MATLAB 7, the simulation results show that the power capacity of the hybrid energy source is enhanced greatly because of the ultracapacitor,and the discharging process of the battery is optimized due to the control strategy which we proposed.

Research of STATCOM based on modularized multilevel converters

Abstract:The control strategy of MMC(Modularized Multilevel Converter)-based STATCOM(static synchronous compensator)is studied. The working principles of M-STATCOM are analyzed. The dynamic model of STATCOM is derived and a new method of voltage balancing is adopted. The direct current control strategy based on fixed switching frequency is proposed to improve the dynamic and steady response of STATCOM.Finally, the system is simulated with Matlab/Simulink, and the simulation results validate the correctness and validity of the method.

Simplified SVPWM algorithm in three-level PV system

Abstract:Traditional space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) algorithm for three-level need intensive calculation operations and low precision. In this paper, a new simplified three-level SVPWM algorithm is applied, that is ,each big area of the space vector plane is divided into two right-angled triangle areas, the space voltage vector is synthesized by several switch vectors corresponding to the right-angled triangle which contains the terminal of the reference vector. As a result, the calculation is greatly reduced, and cleverly eliminates the need for the point control, simplifies the overall control algorithm. Firstly, verify the correctness of this algorithm, and then achieve operability of the algorithm by using 10 kW three-level inverter which taking DSP2808 and CPLD as the core.

The design of AMT monitor system based on Android smart phone platform

Abstract:Aiming at the situation that there are some system parameters and vehicle states information to be observed when AMT system is under research,this paper proposes a monitor system based on Android smart phone platform and with Bluetooth technology.This paper introduces the basic principle of the AMT monitor system and introduced the hardware and software design of lower computer.The design of upper computer software was studied. The experiment result shows that the AMT monitor system based on Android smart phone realizes the function of AMT system data acquisiton, analysis and display,makes the researcher easy kown the dynamic parameter of the AMT system.

The design of embedded slave module based on iCAN protocol

Abstract:This paper introduces the iCAN bus protocol simply, which is developed by our country. A method of embedded slave module that based on iCAN protocol is proposed. The hardware and software are explained in this paper. As the core of the embedded module, it has a 32-bit ARM microprocessor inside. The standard CAN bus communication interface circuit and the general I/O interface is designed. Without using the complex design process of CAN-bus, the users can create different industrial control products simply according to their needs.

Analysis of the cable crosstalk in ship cabin

Abstract:The mechanism of cable crosstalk involving what and how does the factors affect the level of crosstalk is introduced. Based on this, a transmission line model for predicting crosstalk between power cable and the other wires nearby with common reference ground based on multiconductor transmission theory (MTL) is developed. Crosstalk among circuit configurations when the victim cables with load terminations are different types is analyzed and simulated. The driven sources of the power cable are three phase symmetric. Models where the types of the victim lines are shielded coaxial cable, shielded twisted pair and unshielded twisted pair are simulated. It is found that the shielding can provide an attenuation of about 50 dB than the unshielded cables. In addition, the condition of multi-cable coupling is simulated and some thoughts are brought out to inspire more detailed study. Finally, some measures are suggested to suppress the crosstalk between cables according to the two-type of coupling mechanism (inductive coupling and capacitive coupling).

Intelligent street lamp monitoring system based on Internet of Things

Abstract:Aiming at the problems of traditional street lamp control system of the high cost of deployment and complex construction and low degree of intelligence, an intelligent street lamp control system based on ZigBee wireless network and GPRS is introduced. This system combine ZigBee wireless network and GPRS network to monitor and control street lamps. It turns out that the system is low-cost, practical, reliable and intelligent, which is an ideal street lamp control plan.

The front-end design of wearable EEG acquisition system based on the ADS1299

Abstract:A wearable EEG acquisition system front-end is designed in this paper. It has the advantages of high precision, small in size, low power consumption, strong anti-jamming, etc. Using ADS1299 internal integration of programmable amplifier (PGA) to realize the weak EEG signal amplification; meanwhile, in order to eliminate the interference, we’re using the pretreatment circuit of amplitude limiting and filtering and using ADS1299 internal integration of bias driver amplifier. The result from the experiment indicates that the design can extract the weak EEG signal and have strong anti-jamming ability and practicalvalue.

The automatic testing system of BCM function based on PLC

Abstract:Based on the analysis of the characteristics of BCM and the shortcomings of the traditional manual testing methods, the automatic testing system of BCM functions based on PLC is put forward. With DVP PLC as the control core, the function of BCM test can be effective realized by peripheral input and output the corresponding expansion circuit, the manual interaction function is implemented through the configuration interface and the needle bar mechanism is used to avoid the manual plugging operation in the system. In the end the system with the voice prompt function has the characteristics of simple operation, high testing efficiency, stable operation.

Performance analysis of grating lobes about planar array antenna

Abstract:In the design of phased array antenna, increasing array element spacing can improve the resolution of antenna. However, antenna beam will appear grating lobes in this case. The multiple values of grating lobe leads to fuzzy target location and receiver bug tracking. Therefore, the reasonable array element spacing is important in the design of phased array antenna. Through of establishment for beam pattern function of array antenna, the location of the grating lobe and the range of array element spacing are obtained, where the grating lobes do not appear. These results are used for uniform linear array, rectangular and triangular planar array. The MATLAB simulation proves that these conclusions are correct.

An algorithm of pretreatment constant modules beamforming

Abstract:Traditional constant modulus beamforming algorithm would capture interference signal when the power of interference signal is greater than the desired signal. For this issue,a pretreatment beamforming algorithm is proposed. The pretreatment beamforming algorithm constructs a new covariance matrix with the data matrix of the array,which minimizes the desired signal of the new covariance matrix, and the minimum eigenvalue can be used as the initial weight value of the corresponding eigenvector. Computer simulation results show that this algorithm could capture desired signal and restrain interference signal accurately.

Optimized synchronization algorithm of OFDM based on ML

Abstract:As the key technology of the next generation communication system, OFDM has to solve the problems of synchronization. Based on the ML algorithm theory, a multi-symbol ML algorithm is proposed. Under the condition with AWGN, the simulation results explain the optimized algorithm can reach much better performance. When the SNR is bigger than 2 dB the first timing synchronization method based on continuous symbols can completely estimate the right starting time of symbols. When the SNR is small, the performance of the second method based on repeated symbols is better than the first one. When the SNR reaches around -8 dB the frequency offset deviations of the three optimized frequency estimation methods are less than 1%. The superiority is obvious which demonstrates the proposed algorithm is excellent.

The simulation study of interference in TD-LTE heterogeneous network with slot configuration

Abstract:Based on different interference scenarios of TD-LTE heterogeneous network which use flexible time slot configuration technology. This article establishes a simulating platform of TD-LTE heterogeneous network link to simulate and analyse interference. The results showed that at the regular time slot, the number of arranged families will affect the degree of its interference on macro base station, and the interference gotten by the macro base station uplink transmission is strong, and at the cross time slot compared with the regular time slot, the interference of femtocell uplink transmission on the macro base station downlink transmission is strong.

A new RSSI-based centroid localization algorithm using virtual reference tags

Abstract:For improving the accuracy of centroid localization, a modified algorithm is introduced in this paper. Based on the VIRE algorithm and the RSSI information of virtual reference tags established by signal transmission model in location area, an improved algorithm was proposed, which is the combination of VIRE system and the original centroid algorithm. Although the computational complexity has increased, the simulation results show that the accuracy of positioning has been further improved to 33% by this algorithm compared to the original centroid algorithm.

Abstract:In view of the limited resources for satellite frequencies our applied, and the fact that organizing networks with the same frequency can effectively improve the spectrum efficiency, it’s necessary to expand research with the related technology. This paper gives out the simulation analysis on anti-interference performance with physical downlink shared channel in the whole system, which introducing the traditional ground Block-Diagonalization precoding algorithm and the three beam joint coding algorithm through modeling the LTE technology system which organizing networks with the same frequency. Finally, we give out relevant conclusions and recommendations in algorithm applicability with the level of the mathematical model, which provides a theoretical research foundation for system establishment.

LTE-A interference solving algorithm based on OFDMA relay system

Abstract:Interference cancellation is an important component of the mobile communication management. In the LTE-A system, due to the introduction of relay technology, higher requirements has been proposed to solve cell interference, especially inter-cell interference. This paper analyses the new interference from the introduction of a new relay in LTE-A system, according to the orthogonal frequency multiplexing can effectively reduce inter-cell interference. This paper presents a LTE-A relay system, which based on OFDMA interference solution algorithms. The simulation results show that the algorithm is effective to reduce the inter-cell interference and improve the cell throughput and enhance the community quality of service.

Laboratory design with intelligent monitor and control system

Abstract:Design an intelligent SCADA laboratory system based on PLC+STM32. By using decentralized structure, RTU hardware distributed the original complex tasks completed by a MCU to multiple MCUs. The reliability of the system and the data processing rate increases. RTU software follow the configuration principle, each GPIO can be reconfigured for different purposes, improves the efficiency of software development. The debugging results show that the system runs steadily, it can ensure the laboratory environment parameters meet the requirements set and provide a safe.

Abstract:Aiming at the optimization of logistics distribution routing, this paper proposes the cloud computing model which decomposes the routing problem into the several parallel operation sub problems, detailly discusses the parallel model,the node data structure,the algorithm flow and the pseudo code program of MapReduce breadth first algorithm based on color marking method , and applies the algorithm to the actual distribution of the express company to verify its feasibility.

Abstract:According to the problems existing in remotely monitoring of the base of voltage towers, the wireless real-time monitoring system for the stability of the base of voltage towers is designed by combining the RS-485 and GPRS communication technology, MSP430 micro controller unit and Web network technology. The structure and functions, the hardware design and the means of communications with the upper computer of the monitoring system are described emphatically. After on-site installation and long-term operation, the system works stably and is able to achieve the expected require, has high application values.

Abstract:The MSP430F149 MCU as the master control chip is used to design a solar power supply of the high tension line snow thickness of real-time monitoring devices and systems. The measurement device and measurement system can real-time monitor the thickness of the snow on high voltage power line, the system will automatically transmit the latest measure value to the monitoring center when the measured thickness value change, and send alarm information of the laser when the measured value exceeds the set threshold. The system has fully functional, is easy to use, and suitable for mountain foothills. It has strong practical value.

Research on fuzzy control strategy of hybrid electric driving system

Abstract:In order to improve dynamics property, firstly, a system mathematic model is built up, and then a multi-parameters fuzzy control algorithm is proposed. Fuzzy rules are optimized. For validating the correctness and effect, a simulation is made in Matlab. Simulation results show that the control algorithm can make the whole system work at a nice characteristic,and the system efficiency is enhanced by about 5.6%.
