Design of wearable headset system monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen

Abstract:This paper proposes the design of wearable headset system monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen, and completes the hardware and software design. The three main functional parts are as follows: the acquisition of signals, the calculation of the output data in pulse wave and the real-time heart rate and blood oxygen value; and the delivery of data from the Bluetooth module to the upper monitor. The testers achieve the real-time oversight through the results of the software of the upper monitor. In comparison with the designed system in the paper and the standard system, the errors are within the allowable range, which validates the accuracy of the design.

Abstract:Based on the studies of ECG devices and the low-power consumption technology, a wearable ECG device was designed based on ADS1293. The wearable ECG device includes a low-power consumption module of ADS1293 with high integration of the analog front-end chip, a low-power wireless module of Bluetooth for ECG acquisition, and a module of power management for flexible power management. When monitoring ECG signal by the wearable ECG device with a piece of intelligent clothes, the ECG data can be sent to a computer by Bluetooth and displayed in a Matlab GUI. We tested the device by experiments and verified that the wearable ECG device can collect ECG signals in different daily activities. It has the advantages of small volume, low power consumption, and high reliability and accuracy of signals. The wearable ECG device can be used for remote monitoring and early warning of heart diseases.

Design of wearable human posture detection system

Abstract:Aiming at the inconvenience of the measurement of human joint activity and the rehabilitation robot action teaching in clinical rehabilitation and the cumbersome training parameters, a kind of human posture detection system with low price and convenient data acquisition is designed. The system uses MPU6050 inertial measurement unit and I2C communication to achieve multi-channel sensor data acquisition and upload, and realizes the detection of human joint angle in LabVIEW environment based on the complementary filter algorithm. By comparing with a company's three-dimensional gait analysis and sports training system, it is confirmed that the system is accurate and reliable. This system is used for horizontal lower limb rehabilitation training robot teaching action acquisition to achieve the robot teaching function.

Wearable system based on adaptive filter for monitoring ECG signal

Abstract:In this paper, the researchers aim to monitor electrocardiogram(ECG) signal of the high-risk occupational people such as police, fire fighters and so on. By using chest strap, a wearable wireless system of real-time ECG monitoring was designed. The real-time transmission and display of ECG and heart rate is implemented on the smart phone. Considering of the routine activities of the policemen and basing on the theory of adaptive filter, the reference signal is obtained by 3D accelerometer and waveforms after filtering motion artifact(MA) by using two kinds of adaptive algorithms are compared in this paper. The result shows that the baseline of ECG waveforms from adaptive filter using normalized least mean square(NLMS) is more stable and the accuracy of location of ECG’R wave can reach above 99% in most case. The error of heat rate is within 4% in daily routine of people. The measurement accuracy of the system is high.

Research on sleep staging method of EEG based on MSE-PCA

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of insufficient accuracy of traditional automatic sleep staging, a new method of automatic sleep staging based on a fusion algorithm, multi-scale entropy(MSE) and principal component analysis(PCA), is proposed. In this work, the data of sleep EEG monitoring and the expert staging of 8 subjects are utilized as samples. Firstly, MSE is used to extract the nonlinear dynamic features from sleep stages. Then this features are replaced by the first two principal component vectors of PCA. The purpose is reduce the data dimension redundancy, as well as retaining the vast majority of EEG non-linear features. After that the new vector are entered into the BPNN classifier to implement the MSE-PCA model of automatic sleep staging. The experimental results show that the accuracy of automatic staging can reach to 87.9% and kappa coefficient is 0.77, which can improve the accuracy and stability of automatic EEG sleep staging system.

Digital IC physical design low power implement based on CUPF flow under 14 nm process

Abstract:With the rapid development of integrated circuit manufacturing process, power consumption as an important measure of the chip quality caused more and more attention and research by scholars both at home and abroad. When the sizes of transistor feature decrease to nanoscale, the increase of leakage current, the improvement of working frequency and the large amounts of transistor gates improve the power consumption of the chip .At the same time, the traditional low-power technology based on the UPF(Unified Power Format) process exists certain disadvantages such as low efficiency and poor restore sexual. To solve above problems, this paper takes digital chip fch_sata_t which under 14 nm technology as an example and briefly introduces a new physical design flow based on CUPF(Constant UPF).Decreasing power consumption by using power switch cells and multiple voltage supply technology for low power design of chip, etc. In the end, through PrimetimePX carry out consumption analysis results, proved that the chip power consumption to satisfy the design requirements.

A dual power mode broadband power amplifier design for LTE-A applications

Abstract:A broadband power amplifiers(PAs) employ dual power mode structure for LTE-A handset applications is presented. The efficiency of power amplifier improved obviously at the power back-off region through switching the operation mode of PA. By using InGaP/GaAs HBT and AlGaAs/InGaAs pHEMT in a single process, the amplifier circuit and control circuit can be integrated in a single die. In this way, the single chip mode-switching function was achieved. It can improve the amplifier integration effectively. Compare the power added efficiency of the LPM with the power added efficiency of HPM at 10 dBm output power point, the fabricated PA shows more than 6% efficiency improvement, measured with 10 MHz LTE modulation signals at a supply voltage of 3.4 V and at the frequency range of 2.3~2.69 GHz,the PA overall performance also meeting all 3GPP output spectrum mask.

Design of a system for sampling and analysis of GPS IF signal

Abstract:This paper designed a system for sampling and analysis of Global Position System Intermediate Frequency signal(GPS IF signal), which reconstructs the digitalized GPS IF signal by Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) and uploads these signal bytes to Personal Computer(PC) through USB to achieve real-time and high-speed data transmission. The VC++ data processing program firstly converts the received bytes to text data and then analyses them. Experimental results prove that proposed hardware and software co-design system can not only sample GPS IF signal, but also analyze the sampled data, and can be used to offer reliable data for research of GPS baseband processing algorithms.

Design and verification method of one programmable multi-channel NAND Flash controller

Abstract:An effective design and implementation method of NAND flash memory host controller that implemented in Solid State Disk controller was analyzed in this paper. The NAND flash memory host controller supports up to 4 channels NAND flash ports, with 4 channels NAND flash port sharing one ECC error correction module. By using a new type of programmable control method, the CPU can realize 4 channels read and write flash memory data concurrent, and is compatible with a variety of brands of NAND flash. The design philosophy of hardware architecture and critical modules was introduced. The verification and synthesis results were demonstrated finally. Considering of performance and cost evaluation, general SSD controllers could be satisfied by this controller which configured with 4 flash channels and multiple ECC coding formats.

Dynamic configurable multi-output RO PUF

Abstract:Aiming at the disadvantages of previous ring oscillator physical unclonable functions(RO PUF):few output bits and low robustness, dynamic configurable multi-output RO PUF is proposed, which is composed of multiple output ring oscillators and dynamic configuration process module. Multi-output ring oscillator is applied to improve chip resource utilization rate and increase output bits. Dynamic configuration process module is applied to dynamically adjust oscillator structure according to the change of work environment, therefore enhancing system robustness and reliability. Experimental results show that proposed RO PUF proves to perform better than traditional RO PUF and configurable RO PUF, showing higher inter-chip hamming distance and lower intra-chip hamming distance, which could further improve resolution of extracting chip ID.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of high speed data transmission unreachable directly due to discrete distribution and narrow bandwidth of frequency point on 230 MHz frequency band, a new type of low cost, high reliability and high performance digital IF(Intermediate Frequency) receiver is designed. The receiver adopts two-stage digital down conversion, down sampling and filtering structure, and it can aggregate 40 discrete frequency points on 230 MHz frequency band to obtain broadband transmission effect. After passing simulation and FPGA verification, the receiver has been used to LTE230 wireless communication baseband chip and runs stably for a long time in pilot project, it fully indicates the design of digital IF receiver is successful.

Design of control system of dental treatment based on STM32

Abstract:Aiming at the domestic dentist treatment chair, a control system with master-slave communication mode based on STM32 was designed to solve the problem of unstable performance and low integration degree.The host of the system chooses STM32F105VCT6 as core control chip to control the actuator and detecting chip,the slave is the key panel what is composed of STC89C52 chips and keys, through the multi-machine communication protocol based on RS-485 bus,the system realizes the data transmission and collaboration between the master and slave,and displays the system′s running state in real time through the LCD screen. The result shows that the system has stable performance,high degree of automation,good human-computer interaction,and it has great value in application and strong ability to extend.

Research on technology of underwater high speed laser communication system and networking

Abstract:Based on the optical characteristics of blue-green light propagation in water,an underwater high speed laser communication system is designed. This system uses STM32F407 as micro-controller, AD9660 laser driver chip for optical transmitter. Moreover, it uses photoelectric detector, signal conditioning circuit, automatic gain control circuit, demodulation circuit for receiver. It supports 10/100 M Ethernet data communication. The signal modulation mode chooses DPIM(Digital Pulse Interval Modulation), and receiver uses PIN photodiode for converting the optical signal into electrical signal, after signal conditioning, the demodulation circuit acquies the demodulated data,and finally, the control unit restores the original signal. Experiments show that the system can achieve the underwater distance of 50 meters, the rate of up to 1 Mb/s low bit error communication, and provides a new technical scheme for data acquisition and networking communication between underwater equipment.

FPGA program design of PC104 fault monitoring platform

Abstract:PC104 bus is a specifical industrial control line and defined for embedded control system, and its widely used. But it′s difficult to measure when the fault occurs because of the internal structure of complex. This paper designs a fault automatic monitoring platform which is based on FPGA for PC104 bus, the platform monitors the PC104 bus signal and detects the fault in real-time. The platform uses the FPGA program to collect and process the bus signal, and send to the host computer processing to display in time. The functional modules are achieved by FPGA in this system, which are including capture the POST self-test command and BIOS self-test port code, monitor bus voltage level, measure the quality of key signals such as clock and reset, and control PC104 auto reset and BIOS setup mode. Finally, the paper publishes the PC monitoring results and FPGA real-time detection of the timing diagram to reflect the FPGA program in the system can meet the PC104 bus detection technology requirements.

The FPGA implementation of narrowband active noise control system

Abstract:Active narrowband noise control system based on FPGA can deal with large calculation such as multi-frequency, multi-channel circumstance. The parallel structure of feedforward FxLMS algorithm was achieved which could control different frequency component of noise respectively. The parallel algorithm needs a large cost of multiplier resources, so this article proposes a multiplier resources reuse technology which reduced the multiplier usage to 33.3% in three channels application. This technology greatly reduces the system cost and expands the system′s application.

Code generation method and implementation of inverter system based on DSP

Abstract:Inverter system is a hybrid system. The DSP code of intelligent control and fault diagnosis has long development cycle, low efficiency, and tedious implementation. Aiming at this problem, employing Embedded Coder tool to assist DSP in realizing intelligent control and fault diagnosis of inverter is put forward. As long as Embedded Coder links the modeling tool Simulink, integrated development environment CCS and DSP target board perfectly, the DSP operation and development can be achieved in the Simulink simulation environment. This paper introduces the inverter structure, the principle of the PWM trigger control, as well as the PWM code generation method using Embedded Coder. The PWM code generation model is designed by using Simulink, and the PWM execute code is generated by utilizing Embedded Coder tool to realize DSP program debugging and inverter system development in Simulink environment.

Portable asthma monitoring system based on MSP430

Abstract:A portable asthma surveillance system is proposed,for asthma patients′ daily household monitoring and providing key node monitoring technologies in future telemedicine. The system achieved a wide range of high-precision monitoring through the Big-Little dual sensor preamplifier structure and the sub-range 16 bit sampling technology. It completed the signal denoising and built voltage and air flow calibration curve based on Mallat and neural network algorithm. The peak expiratory flow(PEF), forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1), forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity ratio(FEV1%) were measured by physiological index processing algorithm. The results show that the system works stably, PEF maximum relative difference is less than 5%, PEF maximum relative indication error is less than 10%. The system is especially suitable for daily household monitoring and is of great value in the control and monitoring of asthma patients with advantages of portable, intelligence, and low power consumption.

Research of brain-computer interface based on multi-feature integration and BP neural network

Abstract:This research is carried out re-designing a brain-computer interface(BCI) system based on motor imagery recognition through extracting features of Alpha wave in electroencephalography(EEG)signal during motor imagery process, using multi-feature classification method in order to increase the accuracy of classification. Aiming at the shortcomings such as low accuracy and time-consuming when one feature is adopted in the classification process, methods including AR model, statistical characteristics extraction and frequency domain analysis,etc. are taken to extract various features of Alpha wave. BP neural network is used to classify features. The system is designed to identify motor imagery and through experimental verification, it has achieved expected effect with high classification accuracy. The research proves the feasibility of brain-computer interface system combining multi-feature integration with BP neural network.

Design of 128-channels data acquisition system based on eMMC

Abstract:For the high speed multiple acquisition and storage task of underwater simulated cabin related parameters,a multi-channel data acquisition system based on eMMC is designed.The system uses FPGA as the main control chip to control 8 channels analog multiplexer switches and eight AD converters to achieve simultaneous acquisition of the 128 signals. Compared with the traditional acquisition system, the system uses embeded MultiMedia Card(eMMC) as storage module, an solve the problem of traditional Flash storage module that complex bad bock detection and system management. The measuring result shows using 128 channel data collection storage system, the error range is 0.1%, which ensures that acquired data is reliable and effective.

Research on link redundancy of EtherCAT protocol based on FPGA

Abstract:EtherCAT is a real-time industrial Ethernet protocol. The use of link redundancy is an important means of achieving link stability and reliability. This article describes the FPGA based EtherCAT link redundancy principle. This design uses FPGA to achieve the automatically switch of the communication link and redundant link between master station and slave station,or the slave and the slave,in order to achieve the link redundancy of EtherCAT. The feasibility of this method is verified by testing.

Design of storage measurement system of shock wave under dynamic explosion condition

Abstract:In dynamic blast test, shock wave pressure at test point ranges widely, fixed single gain may not obtain complete and accurate shock wave signal, besides, it is difficult to apply Automatic Gain Control(AGC) for shock wave is transient. For the above problems, a method of storing with multiple gains and reading with single gain was designed. Conditioning circuits with different gain were arranged in parallel to amplify one shock wave signal with multiple gains. The memory was divided into several parts and data with same gain were stored to the corresponding partition. When reading data, the optimal set was selected from multiple sets of data and then the selected set was transferred to upper computer. Experiment shows that: compared with test system that only has single gain, this system with multiple gains can be easily used under dynamic explosion condition and can obtain the shock wave signal more reliably and accurately.

Research on SOC estimation of lithium battery based on improved EKF algorithm

Abstract:Battery charge status(SOC) is one of the important indicators that describe battery performance. Aiming at the characteristics of lithium iron phosphate(LiFePQ4), a PNGV circuit model which can react with the actual internal state of the battery was selected, and the improved method was proposed.The extended Kalman filter algorithm(EKF) is used to illustrate the principle of estimating the state of charge by extended Kalman filter and the internal resistance R0 as the state variable,the new Kalman filter is improved. In the simulation,the charging current is added in noise to simulate the measured data. The results show that the method can adapt to the dynamic changes of the battery characteristics, ensure the high SOC estimation accuracy, reduce the error and improve the practicality.

Abstract:Total solar radiation is an important measurement parameter in the field of meteorological observation. A total solar radiation sensor design based on the thermopile principle is proposed. A computational fluid dynamic method is utilized to analyze the heat transfer of the sensor probe. A high precision temperature measurement circuit is designed, while a test platform is built to obtain the temperature characteristics of the sensor in the range of -20 ℃~40 ℃. A method of eliminating the measurement error caused by ambient temperature using Back Propagation(BP) neural network algorithm has been proposed. The experimental results show that the reading accuracy is 2.79%. The sensor may find potential applications in meteorology and photovoltaic systems.

Abstract:Under the background of Gaussian noise, the performance of spectrum sensing based on energy detection is optimal. But under the background of non-Gaussian noise, the performance of spectrum sensing drops greatly. In order to deal with the problem,a method of cancellation processing based on energy detection method is put forward ,which is signal data minus no signal noise data. Compared with the method of energy detection,the way of cancellation processing improves detection probability by increasing the signal-to-noise ratios, so as to improve the performance of spectrum sensing. The effective spectrum sensing platform is designed and implemented based on USRP,GNURADIO and MATLAB,which verifies the feasibility of the algorithm.

Abstract:The real-time data processing system of this paper designed and implemented is the core of SCADA data. Under the background of localization for industrial control products, this paper introduces the function and the design of the real-time data processing system, which is based on domestic software and hardware platform and multi-platform architecture. In this paper, the method of creating multiple queue in the shared memory ensures that multiple processes can access data at the same time conveniently and the real-time of data processing.

A handoff algorithm based on reference signal received power prediction and load

Abstract:To solve the problem that the users are more prone to handoff frequently in dense heterogeneous, this paper proposes an adaptive handoff algorithm based on the Reference Signal Received Power(RSRP) prediction and load, which not only considers the RSRP from the users’ side,but also considers the load of networks. The algorithm predicts RSRP to combat the influence of the mobility of users and the time variety of channels during handoff process and thus enables users to switch to a more appropriate target base station. Simulation results show that compared with the current handoff algorithms, the proposed method can achieve lower interruption probability and Ping-pong handoff rate as well as the higher throughput.

Optimized network allocation vector setting and performance analysis in dense WiFi networks

Abstract:IEEE 802.11 defines a virtual carrier sense mechanism, via RTS/CTS handshaking, to adjust channel access. AP and STAs overhearing either RTS or CTS set their network allocation vector(NAV) and defer the channel access. However, conventional NAV setting may causes the channel waste. Some literatures resolve the problem by clearing redundant time, though, they rarely focus on dense WiFi networks involving multiple overlapping BSS, and may lead to incorrect clearing. This paper proposes a simple and feasible scheme named countable-NAV(C-NAV), which can more effectively utilize transmission opportunity by introducing a counter of NAV setting message and updating it in real time to avoiding incorrect clearing. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed scheme is feasible by more accurately setting and clearing NAV. It can avoid channel waste and incorrect clearing result from the existed NAV setting schemes, and then improve the network throughput.

Design of LMS adaptive filter based on FPGA

Abstract:This paper presents a filtering method based on adaptive algorithm LMS(Least Mean Square),which introduces the application of the method in the low frequency signal filtering, and implements it in the FPGA platform. The traditional digital filter FIR,IIR have different filter parameters for different systems and interference signals. Therefore, the effect of the traditional filter on the signal filter noise reduction is often limited by the attenuation in the narrow band signal processing. In this paper, sampling signal is modulated by sinusoidal signal which is generated by the CORDIC algorithm. According to the error of the sampling signal and the reference signal,Weight vector is terminated in the wiener solution along the negative gradient direction. The high frequency noise of the DC input can be effectively filtered in narrow bandwidth. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that compared with the traditional filtering method, the filtering method has more advantages in the processing of narrow band signals.

A spectrum access strategy selection scheme for the cognitive radio based smart grid network

Abstract:In order to overcome the spectrum scarcity in smart grid network, the cognitive radio(CR) has been introduced into smart grid(SG) network, and the CR based SG network is proposed. However, the uncertainty of the available spectrum in CR network and the variability of the SG nodes′ communication conditions affect the system performance directly. This paper proposes a spectrum access strategy scheme for the CR based SG network. The SG nodes can select suitable spectrum access strategy, based on the real-time communication requests and the available spectrum resources, to maximize the effective coverage range. Simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed schemes.

An opportunistic forwarding routing protocol based on node network coding-aware

Abstract:The existing coding-aware routing protocols may have the problems of misjudging coding opportunities under unstable link state and requiring exchanging huge packets information in selecting the optimal coding node from forwarder set which could lead to large end-to-end delay and high network overhead.To solve these problems, a node network coding aware opportunistic forwarding routing protocol(NAOFP)is proposed by this paper. By introducing two mechanisms of adding additional ID based on high probability of intercept and the optimal forwarding node selection in forwarder set, the NAOFP protocol has obvious advantages in improving the network throughput and the probability of decoding and also reducing the end-to-end delay. Simulation results show that, compared with ExCAR , the NAOFP protocol has a better performance in network throughput, end-to-end delay and the probability of decoding.

Abstract:The first step in airplane lightning protection design is to determine the lightning initial attachment points on helicopter. A novel numerical simulation method based on fractal Leader Progression Model(LPM) is proposed to determine the lightning initial attachment points on helicopter. Firstly, this paper describes the LPM and analyzes the charge distribution along with the downward lighting leader, the initiation and progression rule of the upward leader originated from the helicopter, the final puncture condition. Also, it adopts the probability rule in Dielectric Breakdown Model(DBM) to determine the direction of the downward leader according to the fractal theory. Then, according to the standard of SAE-ARP 5416A, this paper discusses the parameters of the simulation environment, including the size of the electrode, the distance between the helicopter and the electrode. Finally, the proposed method is used to simulate the lightning initial attachment points on UH-60 helicopter.

Abstract:With the development of electronic technology, the processing speed of the control chip on the quadrotor is faster and faster, and it also helps us to apply the more complicated attitude algorithms.Extended Kalman Filter(EKF) has also been applied in the field of UAV attitude algorithms. The mathematical model of the sensor and the EKF based on quadrotor are deduced and MATLAB simulation is carried out in this paper. The simulation results show that the extended Kalman filter can obtain the better attitude data. Finally, the attitude algorithms is verified on the actual unmanned aerial vehicle.

Abstract:K-anonymous algorithm and improved algorithm K-anonymous mostly use the method of sacrificing of time to lower data information loss to realize the data anonymity, but with the rapid growth of data quantity, the traditional methods of data anonymity is not suitable for processing of large data. Aimed at the shortage of time complexity and execution efficiency K-anonymity in stand-alone that it generates a lot of frequent sets and searches the data table repeatedly, this paper introduces the MapReduce technology to K-anonymity algorithm to optimize this algorithm. The algorithm with the advantage of MapReduce and sampling generic algorithm can compute distributed anonymous data set effectively and reduce the information loss of released data set, so it improves the availability of data. The experimental results show that the algorithm increases observably in time efficiency and data accuracy.

An improved automatic sorting algorithm for aerial image sequences

Abstract:In order to realize the automatic image sequence sequencing in UAV aerial images, an improved image sequence automatic sorting algorithm based on phase correlation is proposed. The algorithm uses the logarithmic polar coordinates to represent the relationship between the image translation, rotation, scaling, and use the maximum correlation criterion and the peak coordinates to determine the positional relationship between adjacent images. Experimental results show that this algorithm can effectively solve the problem of chaotic image sequence in panorama image mosaic, avoids human intervention and enhances the application range of the algorithm, and has a strong practical value.

A fast SVM classifier combined with Eigen decomposition and sample-learning

Abstract:In order to improve the efficiency of classic support vector machine(SVM) classifier, an improved fast SVM classifier is proposed. For solving the low efficiency problem of kernel matrix operations in the process of transforming low-dimensional space to high-dimensional one, it uses Eigen decomposition method to reduce the dimension of kernel matrix and obtains the approximate representation of the kernel matrix. Meanwhile, it divides the training subset and random sample the subset for learning, further improves the efficiency of SVM classifier. Experimental results of image classification show that, the improved SVM classifier has not only higher accuracy classification rate than classic SVM, random forests and neural network classifiers, but also least time-consuming on training, and less mean classification time-consuming than classical SVM classifier.

A novel SVPWM algorithm for asymmetrical three-level four-leg Z source inverter

Abstract:In order to simplify the structure of three-level inverter,a newly topology of asymmetrical three-level four-leg Z-source inverter is proposed. Compared with normal symmetry three-level four-leg Z-source inverter, the cost is reduced effectively for some switches are decreased and no need to clamp with diodes or capacitors. The neutral-point of asymmetry three-level inverter can’t be controlled, for switching vectors are missing in the space vector modulation. Aiming at the above problem, a superior SVPWM control strategy for asymmetry three-level four-leg inverter based on abc coordinate was proposed, according to the unique straight up and down state of Z source can affect the neutral-point. By adjusting the straight up and down time, the inverter not only maintains the desired boosted ac output voltage but also effectively restrains the neutral voltage offset. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is demonstrated by simulation.

The design and implementation of multi stage dimming ballast for xenon lamp based on field bus

Abstract:The traditional ballasts for xenon lamp always have the fixed output power, so the lamp′s luminance can′t changed, on some occasions, it leads to great waste and inconvenience. In order to solve this problem, a multi stage dimming system for xenon lamp based on field bus is designed. Through the RS485 bus and the private protocol based on Modbus, control software is used to communicate with the MCU of the system, for the multi-level dimming of the xenon lamp, to achieve energy saving. The experimental results show that this system can meet the requirements of multi stage dimming, and the adjustment process is smooth, stable and reliable.

Abstract:In order to improve the utilization rate of an off-line UPS(Uninterrupted Power Supply) and power quality at their situation, UPS with active filtering functions is studied.It is an improvement of an off-line UPS, without increasing hardware cost, realizes uninterrupted power supply and the active filtering function at the same time.System according to the power grid, are working in APF(Active Power Filter) model and UPS. This paper expounds the key technology of grid connection and harmonic detection method in the APF mode ,and uses a fast algorithm of voltage sag detection, finally the system is built up by MATLAB/SIMULINK and the feasibility and practicability of the system are validated through the simulation.
