Study of performance evaluation on energy saving for 5G base station

Abstract:Compared to the commercial 4G network, 5G needs to support larger RF bandwidths and more Tx/Rx channels to cater for the target requirement proposed by ITU, however, which results in significantly increased energy consumption for 5G base station. Base station energy-saving technology realizes the effective reduction of base station energy consumption by turning off the corresponding transmission resources in the time and frequency domains. In order to avoid the impact of energy-saving technology on network coverage and user experience, it is necessary to look for the balance between energy-saving effects and network performance during network operation. This article firstly analyzes the energy consumption model of 5G base stations, and evaluates the effect of power saving of 5G energy-saving technologies in combination with key factors affecting energy consumption. It analyzes the impact of related energy-saving technologies on network performance at the same time, and finally introduces the technology development trends and challenges of 5G power saving from the perspective of network operations.

Abstract:The ITU(International Telecommunication Union) defines three major 5G application scenarios: eMBB, mMTC and URLLC. With the maturity and commercialization of 5G, URLLC as an important entry point in the vertical industry is also gradually improving and optimizing. This paper firstly introduces the evolution of URLLC standard, and then analyzes the key technologies to achieve URLLC from three aspects of low latency, high reliability and multiplexing of URLLC and eMBB. Finally, the integration of URLLC and TSN is described.

Abstract:Recent years, the development of Time Sensitive Network(TSN) technology has gradually attracted widespread attention from industry. Characterized by low jitter, low delay and deterministic transmission, TSN has provided strong support for scenarios with high requirements of transmission delay. It has become one of the important evolution directions of the next-generation industrial network bearer technology. In order to meet the low-latency and high-reliability requirements of vertical industry services at the end-to-end level, 5G network has enhanced QoS, air interface synchronization, header compression and other aspects to meet the strict requirements of TSN network for 5G equipment on the basis of R15 URLLC. Starting from the demands of vertical industries, this article analyzes the necessity of the integration of TSN and 5G network. The needs and challenges of TSN for 5G commercial network transformation has also been studied based on the 3GPP R16 standardization progress in the end.

Abstract:By enhancing and expanding R15, 3GPP R16 standard makes 5G technical solution system and industry enabling ability more complete and more perfect, becoming an important milestone in 5G commercial process. In this paper, based on the current 5G challenges faced in the commercial development, around the "completed solution", "improved ability" and "industry expanding" three aspects, the requirements and characteristics of 5G R16 are analysed,and R17 follow-up technology evolution direction is forecasted.

Exploration and practice of innovative 5G bedside consultation for COVID-19

Abstract:COVID-19 infection spread rapidly throughout the country in early 2020 which caused medical resources scarce for a time. 5G smart medical can quickly alleviate the insufficiency through 5G network and other information technologies. This paper firstly analyzes the new demand of the epidemic situation for intelligent medical treatment,then introduces the innovative 5G bedside consultation scheme. Finally the effectiveness of the scheme is demonstrated through the practical application.

Analysis of the trend of artificial intelligence technology on basic research

Abstract:During the past sixty years, artificial intelligence(AI) has achieved rapid development jointly promoted by algorithms, computing power, and big data, but it is still in the stage of artificial narrow intelligence. The status and trends of basic research in AI algorithms and computing power are analyzed. The evolution of artificial narrow intelligence to artificial general intelligence will depend on breakthrough in AI basic theory research. On the aspect of AI algorithms, the deep learning algorithm model lacks interpretive reasoning and generalizability. AI encounters bottlenecks in basic theory and urgently needs a breakthrough. On the aspect of computing power, due to the CMOS physical limits the Moore′s law is approaching failure and the growth of computing power is slowing down, the general computing chip architecture is limited by Feng Neumann′s bottleneck and AI chips represented by neuromorphic chips are in the ascendant. On the aspect of data, the lack of high-quality data sets in specific area restricts AI technology application and more high-quality data sets will be continuously constructed in the short future. In short, the basic AI technology will slowly advance for a long time in the future, but the AI applications are booming from right now.

Thoughts on the development of integrated circuit industry in China under the adjustment of Wassenaar agreement

Abstract:Semiconductor industry is a high capital, high input, high risk and high entry threshold industry. From the analysis of the industry status, except for the closed test, the equipment and materials, design, manufacturing and other aspects of semiconductor industry are still at a low level, high-end products are heavily dependent on imports. To raise the localization rate of China′s semiconductor industry is faced with many problems, such as high technical difficulty, large capital investment, lack of high-tech talents in chip equipment, design and manufacture, etc. The "Wassenaar agreement" was revised in December 2019 to include export controls on computer lithography software and the cutting and polishing of large silicon wafers, a change that is bound to affect the country′s semiconductor industry. This paper starts with the development situation of the semiconductor industry in China, analyzes the current industrial development situation and problems, studies the influence of the revised Wassenaar agreement on the semiconductor industry in China, and finally puts forward some corresponding solving measures and suggestions.

Convolutional neural network quantization algorithm based on weight interaction ideas

Abstract:Traditional convolutional neural network quantization algorithms widely use symmetric uniform quantization operations to quantize models′ weights, without taking into account the correlation between the quantization of adjacent weights, that is, the quantization noise generated by the quantization operation of the previous weight can be made up after adjusting the quantitative direction of the next weights. Aiming at the above problems, a ternary convolutional neural network quantization algorithm based on the idea of weight interaction is proposed, the model compression ratio is 16 times. On the ImageNet dataset, the model prediction accuracy of ternarized AlexNet and ResNet-18 network only decrease less than 3%. This method achieves a high model compression ratio, has higher accuracy, and can be used to transplant convolutional neural networks to mobile platforms with limited computing resources.

Mine pedestrian detection based on side-window filter and dilated convolution

Abstract:In digitalized mines, pedestrian detection system is able to greatly reduce accident casualties, which is an essential strategy for guaranteeing workers′ well-being. In order to establish mine pedestrian detection system with high performance, a mine pedestrian detection based on side-window filter and dilated convolution is proposed. Specifically, in terms of mines environment with complicated and hostile conditions, side-window filter is adopted to suppress disturbing signals in surveillance pictures, improving image quality. In addition, considering the multi-scale characteristic of pedestrian objects, dilated convolution is introduced into model to increase receptive field of features, thus enhancing detection performance. A number of comparison experiments are conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of side-window filter and dilated convolution, and the model achieves excellent performance of 94.3 mAP and 99.1% of detection accuracy on the mine dataset.

Data mining method on abnormal electricity usage based on FP-growth algorithm

Abstract:Because of the technology development, the means for stealing electricity becomes more specialized and diversified. The traditional anti-theft technology is less real-time and less feasible. This paper studied the intelligent diagnosis and characteristics extract method of electricity energy meter during online operation, analyzed the abnormal electricity consumption data, used machine learning abnormality judgment thresholds based on features, and used association rule data mining methods to fuse independent detection results, realizing the mining of power theft data. At last, this paper verified the accuracy of the model establishment, and deduced the screening method of power consumption abnormal cases.

A charge pump system applied to AMOLED display drive

Abstract:Based on the UMC 80 nm process, a charge pump system for AMOLED display drive is designed. In order to ensure that the output voltage ripple of the circuit is less than 10 mV under 8 mA load, this design adopts bilateral symmetric pump circuit structure. In order to maintain the power efficiency above 70% under different output voltages, the pump circuit in this design uses a multi-input power supply structure. In order to maintain the stability of the output voltage, the entire system in this design uses PSM modulation. Hspice simulation of the circuit, in the case of 1 μF pump capacitor and 2.2 μF output capacitor, the load current is 8 mA, the output voltage ripple is 1.2 mV and the power supply efficiency is at least 70% under various output conditions,83.6% peak efficiency.

Realization of high precision phase detector based on FPGA

Abstract:Although the response speed of the phase detector based on analog circuit is fast, it is difficult to achieve high precision, and the development cycle is long and difficult to optimize. In order to detect the tiny phase change of micro-electro-mechanical system(MEMS) devices in real time, a high-precision phase detector based on field programmable gate array(FPGA) is proposed. The phase detector is mainly composed of digital mixer, finite impulse response(FIR) digital filter, direct digital synthesis(DDS) signal generator and analog digital converter conversion circuit. The phase detection method is to mix the measured signal with the reference signal with the same frequency, adjustable phase and initial phase of 90°, and extract the phase related difference frequency signal through high-order FIR filter, adjust the reference signal phase to make the difference frequency signal close to 0, then the phase adjustment amount of the reference signal is the phase of the measured signal. The clock frequency of the phase detector is 100 MHz, and the phase accuracy can reach 0.000 1°. The working frequency is flexible and adjustable. When it is used in PLL, it can be easily compatible with the driving circuit of MEMS devices.

Abstract:The signal of Selsyn is a kind of high frequency and high voltage AC analog signal, which is used to transmit angle information in the fire control system. The voltage level represents different angle sizes, which is convenient for the computer system to process. It is necessary to digitize these analog signals. In this paper, 8255A is used as the control chip, and the analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion controllers are used to carry out real-time signal of selsyn,a control method of digital acquisition and analog conversion processing is proposed. The analog-to-digital converter completes the digital acquisition of the analog signal of the external input AC selsyn and sends it to the computer system. The digital / analog converter completes the analog conversion of the computer system and sends it to the external equipment. The 8255A completes the input and output control of the conversion data. It has the characteristics of flexible control, simple circuit, strong real-time, high reliability and so on. It is widely used in fire control system.

A low cost test equipment for high speed bus on VPX backplane

Abstract:The advantages and disadvantages of common high-speed serial bus test schemes are analyzed. Aiming at the characteristics of VPX high-speed backplane structure and signal definition, a low-cost VPX backplane high-speed serial bus test method is proposed. It takes FPGA as the operation core, with ingenious structure design and high-speed serial circuit design, it can test up to 16 pairs of high-speed transceiver channels each time, and can test the signal error rate and eye chart of high-speed serial bus from physical layer, link layer to protocol layer, and the test rate of each channel can be greater than 10 Gb/s.

High-speed,low-latency wireless MAC protocol for wearable AR devices

Abstract:For the application scenario of short-range, high speed wireless communication between consumer AR glasses terminal and smart phones, a customized wireless MAC protocol with ultra-high speed, low power, low latency characteristics is presented. Firstly, based on the requirements of the application scenario, quantitative analysis of specifications such as effective throughput and latency are presented, which is followed by detailed protocol design with the target of specifications above. Compared to the existing ECMA-398 protocol, the effective throughput standard increases from 71% to 86%. By introducing priority mechanism for various type of data transmission, the maximum frame transmission latency of critical data is reduced by an order of magnitude, which is less than 1 ms. This paper completed the construction and simulation of system-level models, RTL-level coding and verification according to the analysis above. Finally, the protocol was tested through the FPGA platform. Simulation and test results show that the customized MAC protocol designed in this paper can fulfill the requirement of the scenario much better.

Research on hybrid chaotic encryption algorithm based on cloud computing

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of data security and confidentiality in the cloud platform environment, based on the MapReduce distributed framework, combining the advantages of four chaotic mapping systems, a hybrid chaotic encryption method for cloud computing is proposed. Using the chaotic sequence generated by four chaotic maps as the key, the plaintext is encrypted by using the multiple key generated from the iteration of chaotic system for many times. The experimental results show that the algorithm is efficient and the key space is large enough to effectively resist the attack of brute force key cracking.

Design and research of UAV typhoon detection live monitoring system

Abstract:UAV detection of typhoons(including tropical cyclones) is one of the important components of China′s national meteorological development strategy. In the mission objectives of the first phase of the ocean, it is clearly pointed out that it is necessary to complete the verification test of the full data link of airborne flight, ocean high-altitude drop, data reception and processing, which will lay the technical foundation for the future operational typhoon. The UAV live monitoring system combines mobile ground stations, meteorological and satellite networks to provide three-dimensional monitoring and display based on WebGIS for live flight of unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned airships, and provides decision support services for ground control center dispatching. The system mainly includes the data management of displaying the current status of the UAV, the current flight weather phenomenon, the coverage of the aircraft, the data of the typical demonstration area, also manages information on all aircraft detection plans and the completion of aircraft detection plans.

Research on on-line efficiency analysis system of booster-pump of coal-fired unit

Abstract:Booster-pump of turbo-feed pump is an important auxiliary equipment of coal-fired power unit. The efficiency of the booster-pump is an important economic index of the pump operation. And also the deterioration analysis of booster pump′s efficiency is an important technical means to realize the early diagnosis pump fault. This paper describes how to design an on-line analysis system of the booster-pump-efficiency, which uses the real-time data of the Supervisory Information System to complete booster pump′s efficiency on-line calculation and the efficiency deterioration analysis. It can quickly and accurately analyze the deterioration trend of the efficiency of booster-pump and provide early warning of the booster-pump fault, which is one of important decision-making basis for the condition based maintenance of the booster-pump. In the process of system design, the stable working condition of the unit required by the calculation of pump efficiency is fully considered, as well as the influence of different installation positions of sensors on the calculation of pump efficiency, and compensation is made for it. The system is designed with B/S framework, Java language is used for server programming, and Bootstrap open source project is used for front-end.

Development of mining intrinsic safety drill imager application based on Android system

Abstract:In order to further enhance the ability of detailed drilling detection, a mine intrinsically safe borehole imager application based on the Android system is developed. Through a deeply data mining and fusion of video, depth and angle information which has been acquired, it functions such as video acquisition, image unwrapping, probe attitude, 2d/3d trajectory etc. A set of "mapping transformation" algorithm was designed to optimize the image expansion function and improve the image expansion speed by 137%, real time drilling image development is achieved.The communication interface technology based on JNI and edge computing was introduced, and the data preprocessing of the electronic compass and depth counter was completed in the hardware interface, which reduced the load of the host by 4.6%. The experiment shows that the software of borehole imager allowed full play to the hardware performance of borehole imager and improved the construction efficiency of borehole observation.

Abstract:SOE(Sequence Of Event) is used to analyze fault in order to find the cause of the accident in the DCS(distributed control system). In this paper, an acquisition way of the SOE information is studied, it introduces the general structure of the distributed control system, the software deployment of the SOE acquisition system,the communication way between the controller and the operation station, the design technique of the timing system, and the capturing software in the card. This paper focuses on the algorithm through which acquiring the time label of the SOE and the tag positioning method. The acquisition system has been widely applied to the field of the electric power industry, which has the characteristics of high real-time performance and the reasonable algorithm.

Abstract:In the monocular vision recognition system, the measuring error of the diameter can be caused due to the different height of the workpiece. Accurate recognition of workpiece is completed by measurjing the height and diameter feature information of the workpiece. A methodology was proposed by integrating with multi-feature, that is the height and diameter feature.The length of the shadow in the specified measuring direction is measured by identifying the center of the workpiece.The size and type of the workpiece are identified by the height and diameter of the workpiece. The closed operation of morphology is used to process the image, and then the center of the workpiece is obtained. In the direction of measurement, the edge detection algorithm with Halcon package is used to detect the subpixel edge, and then the length of the shadow is obtained by post-processing. The workpiece type is determined according to combining features. A test show, the method of multi-feature combination identification of the workpiece proposed in this paper can accurately identify the characteristics of the workpiece, and this method can accurately distinguish different workpiece to complete the identification of automatic production.

Low power electronic load design based on synchronous buck circuit

Abstract:To meet the needs of laboratory power testing, we designed a small power electronic load based on synchronous buck circuit, which is divided into two parts: the main circuit and the control circuit. An improved main circuit structure based on synchronous buck circuit is proposed and we choose to adopt digital PID control to realize continuous load change, the PID parameter range is calculated according to the small signal model of the main circuit. According to the design scheme of electronic load, a real circuit board is made. The research shows that the designed electronic load runs stably for a long time, and meets the design requirements.

Abstract:In view of the disadvantages of programmable logic controller(PLC) scheme in controlling six-degree-of-freedom(6-DOF) parallel mechanism, such as complex assembly and large overall volume, an embedded 6-DOF parallel mechanism control system is designed. The system uses STM32F407ZE and PCL6045BL as the core chips. Its motion control module can realize the generation of electric cylinder motion commands, as well as the collection and processing of signals from sensors such as servo motor encoders and stroke switches, and the introduction of proportion integration differentiation(PID) algorithms to improve control accuracy. The results show that the system is stable in operation, high in control accuracy and small in assembly volume.

Design of portable power supply system for pulsed eddy current thermography

Abstract:In order to realize the application of pulsed eddy current thermography technology in field detection, a portable power system scheme based on "lithium battery+supercapacitor" composite power supply technology was designed to solve the problems of low power and low voltage in the separate power supply of lithium battery.The power conversion is realized by charging and discharging of supercapacitors, and the voltage conversion is realized by using DC/DC converter to realize efficient utilization of lithium batteries.Firstly, the demand of pulsed eddy current thermal imaging power supply is analyzed, the topological structure of the power supply is introduced and the portable power supply system is built. Then, the switching control strategy of the system is analyzed in detail. Finally, its performance is tested and the practicability of the portable power supply is verified by crack detection experiment. The results show that the rated power of the portable power supply system is up to 1.5 kW and the weight is within 10 kg, which meets the initial demand of the portable power supply for pulsed eddy current thermography.

Design of pseudo-random number generator based on chaotic system

Abstract:Pseudo-random number generator is widely used in the field of information security. This paper proposes a pseudo-random number generator based on hyper-chaotic Lorenz system and skew tent mapping. In this scheme, four pseudo-random sequences{S1,S2,S3,S4} are generated iteratively by using the hyper-chaotic Lorenz system, and each 8 bits are grouped into groups. Then a pseudo-random sequence Ss is generated iteratively by skew tent mapping for data selection. Finally, one of the{S1,S2,S3,S4} sequences is selected by Ss sequence value, and then the pseudo-random sequence output is generated. The output result of this paper has passed all randomness test of SP800-22 rev1a of NIST, and it is proved to have good randomness by image encryption test.
